If he fails the team fails and is set back at least the next two or three years. So your stance is there are people who want the team to remain a failure? One could argue we should be able to discuss what improvements are needed with any player on the roster without people interjecting and suggesting they just want the team to suck.

Of all people why is CRA under the microscope? He's got the patience of a saint tbh considering the lunacy he's responded to from posters like poundaway (SBBlue). If that's your idea of someone attacking positive thoughts you should rethink your position and ponder if those you perceive to be under attack and victimized are actually just as counterproductive to dialogue. -
Can we all just agree college highlights belong in the college football section?
-
Sad thing is they still may end up being relevant again before us.

I needed these laughs. I appreciate you top dawg.

Don't go to bed angry buddy. You got any soothing nature sounds? Sleep on it and get back to me.

You're mad and flailing. You crapped on DJ Moore every chance you got for not being a number one receiver but would turn around stick up for Robbie Anderson. Just comically bad takes.

There's no lie. You did it multiple times and the giveaway was you going after Sean Paytons Vicodin unprompted for calling out Tepper apologists. Why would you be so triggered by him saying that when you weren't even remotely mentioned? Guilty conscience.
-
You are absolutely livid about being called out for sticking up for David Tepper. I won't be kind anymore. You stuck your neck out for that man. You got your nose rubbed in it. Deal with it like a man.

College highlights don't matter now. This is like if Cleveland Browns fans were posting highlights of Johnny Manziel in college when things weren't looking good early on.
-
Still salty I see. He cannot to this point throw deep in the NFL. We haven't seen it. The video doesn't exist. Alabama highlights mean nothing to anyone. Hopefully we get a highlight or two of this for the first time at home against the Texans and the #2 pick in this years draft.

I would heavily consider that offer for Burns but I would hold him his value will be just as high in the offseason and more teams will be sniffing around. I wouldn't give up more than a single 5th or 6th for Jeudy. He's lazy and can't be bothered to give a damn about the team that drafted him. Why do we want him or think he will change his ways here of all places again?

I anxiously await the video footage in a Panthers uniform.

There's been some good and a lot of really bad. Definitely having a sophomore slump. He's a good kid though. We'll see how he bounces back.

Worst cumulative record over last 4 years!

I agree with most of your points you touched on about billionaires and the elite class. I don't wade into it much because it's a futile effort the system is built to be exploited and manipulated by those in power in this structure and that won't change in our lifetimes. Back to football. The losing is having a fog effect on all of us I'd say that's why every thread eventually becomes tense and people let out their frustrations. It's perfectly fine I'd rather people do that here than other places or in other ways. It's good to vent. We've been through the ringer. With Tepper I fear his impulsiveness could make this volatile situation even worse if that's somehow possible. Wherever he goes from here in regards to Reich's future or the next coach he has to remove himself from the equation some. Nothing will get better without that no matter who we hire next. We've argued for years over what ultimately amounted to inane issues this is just another one. We can't control any of it regardless. I respect your passion for your team it's good that you're fired up. We lost a ton of bandwagoners through the last 4 years or so. Loyal fans who have stuck through it all deserve better than this. We'll see if there's a light at the end of the tunnel anytime soon. Maybe not. -
https://torontosun.com/2012/11/03/why-cam-newton-is-struggling-qa-with-greg-cosell Here's a bit of an insight into his thoughts on Newton early in his career. Cosell was up and down on Cam but unless you can cite the article or video in question I can't help with that. Newton's footwork is what kept him from consistently reaching that level he did in 2015. I'll concede that every single time. It's a shame but it happens. He definitely lacked touch on certain throws too. He relied on his physicality probably to a fault. But when he was on what a sight to behold. All we have now are highlights. Oh absolutely he was useless at screens. But when he first entered the league things hadn't yet changed to what we see now with a larger emphasis on short passes. That just wasn't his game at Auburn and he was never good at it in the NFL. It just is what it is.

Sir. You sought out OP to get on his case when he suggested there have been Tepper apologists. And when asked about your own history in defense of Mr. Tepper you've proceeded to have a meltdown. Why don't we just agree that the stakes have changed and Tepper has worn out his free passes that some people extended to him? He did indeed have some apologists. There was even one poster here who basically dedicated his entire account to posting about him. Remember the Appaloosa Model? We're a long way from that. -
PFF grades vs Lions (Bryce in bottom 5 yet again)
frankw replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Certainly not a win Hey if you're looking for silver linings say no more do your thing. -
I got through what I could of this word salad. Parts of it you are somewhat coherent. The rest? Ehhhh. You are honestly just riffing off classic talking points about Cam that he proved untrue years ago. Which is ironic considering you have the nerve to talk about an agenda. Yours is plain to see. But I think the crux of your argument hinges on some level of mythical hype you've conjured up about Bryce Young in your head. There are things about him we just don't know yet until he shows it. What he does well bodes positively for his football IQ going forward. What he doesn't do well bodes troublesome concerns around his phsyical traits that are average. But he has time to grow in those aspects. I do not think he is going to change all that much over the next few years as far as his build though. The plus side is so far he's been a tough bastard behind a subpar OL and against some tough pass rushing opponents. That's commendable. But the rest of the season is going to be about what Bryce Young can show as a passer. All the other moving parts we can discuss as much as we like but there has to be progress in the mid range to deep passing categories. You can throw tantrums about this in all caps if it makes you feel better but truly almost everyone here wants him and the team to succeed. We don't have to subscribe to your borderline manifestoesque ramblings to be Carolina Panthers fans. We're here.

https://www.foxsports.com/articles/nfl/2023-nfl-defense-rankings-team-pass-and-rush-stats Seahawks pass defense is currently ranked 28th. The Dolphins are 19th. The Vikings and Lions are ranked 17th and 18th. The Texans are sitting at 24th. They also have the 28th ranked 3rd down defense. They are pretty bad. If Bryce is going to show out it should be at home next game. And he's got a new playcaller.

Hate is a strong word. I gave him a chance but he clearly wasn't the guy after several starts. I vocally wanted to move on and I make no apologies for it. That being said he did have some moments where he impressed. But what it boiled down to was he was like Kirk Cousins in that playoff game opting for a pass behind the line of scrimmage instead of going for broke. Except somehow worse. You can't win with that. Personality wise Teddy was kind of awkward at times. But he was totally right about Rhule and his staff and that vindicated him to a degree. As much as I don't like it. There are some things about Teddy that line up with Bryce for the moment. But it's too early to say. We have to let the season play out. -

"Anti-Bryce" is basically "anything I don't want to read that challenges my thoughts". Some of this reminds me of when we were having the first real doubts about Matt Rhule and people who didn't want to hear about it kept labeling any criticism as "Anti-Rhule".
