Mr. Scot has his ways but I don't think we should be pushing him out the door. He has value as a contributor. That being said. The propensity for being a company line man when it suits him makes me feel like my eyes are going to roll right back into my head. Especially when it comes to the subject of Scott Fitterer whom apparently is not a "bad" GM in his eyes which absolutely astounds me considering the venom he's had for Hurney. Say what you want about Marty at least he did draft some All-Pro caliber players along the way. I'm still waiting to see the first one from Fitterer. We need a new front office.

At this stage everyone should be of the understanding we aren't trading our way out of this. That's all Scott Fitterer has done and what do we have to show for it besides losing and wasted assets?

Brandon Miller is a baller. Whatever happens with the season at least we finally got something right.
-
The team is barely watchable at times and even if you want to subject yourself to it the TV providers are trying to gouge people. Bally Sports has gone the way of the NFL. Not paying for the privilege of watching this poo lol.

Ironic the guy who for some reason still can't find a picture of Bryce Young in Panthers gear for his avatar is calling someone else fairweather.
-
It's not a great look but the other poster isn't exactly known for a polite demeanor either.
-
Going forward the lack of scoring output is the biggest concern. Hopefully Brown can help with that as he gets more comfortable in his role. It's damn good to enjoy the high from our first win at home in what seems like forever. And on the day we honored two Panthers legends. But 15 points is not going to win many games in this league. And the OL needs to get their heads out of their asses and play better.
-
That definitely would have resulted in a flag for some other QB's but it didn't surprise me in the slightest one wasn't thrown. Bryce is doing a fine job extending the play I just hope to see him continuing to protect himself.

You guys are funny. I appreciate the enthusiasm.
-
You're off by a few numbers unfortunately
-
Who exactly are you referring to? Never called him a bust. Also I have not seen the height even mentioned much anymore except almost exclusively from folks who are deeply insecure about it for some reason. So you don't remember the talk of Bryce Young going to the best destination of all rookie QB's just this summer? You didn't think that yourself? Speaking of goalposts moving. What happened to that "stacked" team Stroud was playing on? Maybe things aren't as simple as we think on either side of this issue. Let's see if this staff can actually help Bryce Young develop.

I think we both know all those crying laughing emojis you spam in each post are a mask. I hope you have a better week going forward! 🫡

It's a lost cause he's daffy.

49ers with two bad losses in consecutive weeks. Love to see it. Also the Chiefs losing to the Broncos of all teams can hopefully give the rest of the league and fans a break from the Travis Kelce Taylor Swift media machine.
-
Happy for the win and the team getting that off their backs finally. But let's take it one week at a time. I'll feel better about our chances when we can score more than two touchdowns in a game.
-
My preference for RB was to sign Foreman and draft one. We ended up not doing so because he didn't want to be here and we had such few draft picks. But we definitely need to select a back next year someone who can compliment Chubba who is talented in his own right. Other teams are having success with this route. I do not want Fitterer making the pick though.
-
If the only route you can go is to allege people want the team to be horrible and lose you aren't even here to talk football. But anyone who has read your posts knows this. I have one football team. I rarely even watch other teams play. If you can't handle honest unfiltered discussion about the team that's a you problem and you should go create your own community.

I've been here all along through all the losses yet you choose the first win where you ironically have made the most amount of posts in a few months to question the legitimacy of my fanhood lol. Here ya go bud ya dropped this
-
Ryans looks like a legit coach and he's assembled a solid staff. Have to give credit for that. The great news is we did win and we got a glimpse of the star talent we wanted to see from our #1 pick. Now begins the process of assessing the rest of the season and figuring out who needs to be shown the door to maximize Bryce's potential. I hope we can win several more along the way and sabotage the Bears draft position. But even with the win today it looks like we're going to remain a low scoring offense. That isn't on Bryce though. It's on Scott Fitterer.
-
Come on man don't play these games with me. You know I'm referring to all the hype and fluff after the draft and before the season. Almost everyone here agreed the Texans were a bad destination for any rookie QB.
-
We scored 15 points lol. For some apparently this was the bar? That's sweet. We want to contend with playoff teams. We would have been taken to the woodshed against better competition. Like against Miami.

It's always funny when folks who have been largely missing for a few months save for a few random posts here and there shows up asking where everyone is at now like they've earned the right to strut. Just no. You don't get cool points for hiding when it's convenient. I'm happy with how Bryce Young played on the whole. But the way we finished the game is not what we should be doing. We barely squeaked by a team we were supposed to be significantly better than anyways and we had to play for a FG in our own house to do it. We've still got a lot of work to do.

Seriously, do y'all want a positive vibes only thread?
frankw replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm all for celebrating the win. But settling scores? We've got a lonnnnng ways to go. Things are anything but settled at this moment. We're still 1-6. -
He redeemed himself. For a rookie that's what you want to see. It's okay to have some ups and downs but respond in those pressure situations and don't shrink in the moment.
