Playcalling alone isn't going to change the fact that our QB room is bottom 3 in the league at best brosef.

P.S. we got the doors blown off by the Broncos and only scored one touchdown in the first quarter when the game was within reach. Only on the huddle does someone use data from that game to prop up the offense as somehow trending up.

Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 9 win over Saints
frankw replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree a bad game can happen to any player here and there. But we have a ridiculous sum of money tied up in the oline compared to the rest of the roster especially the defense so in my eyes it is far less excusable. -
Chuba Hubbard literally won us the game. Overall the Carolina Panthers remain 29th in points per game. We are 30th in passing yards per game. Thanks to the QB play or lack thereof. Canales playcalling and use of personnel isn't helping at times either.

Of course. Lucky for him no matter what happens he's got 75 million dollars in career earnings and counting to drown his sorrows in. He'll be alright.

Robert Hunt had himself a bad day. Needs to earn that huge payday we gave him. -

You've created two threads already throwing in the towel on Bryce Young and you're calling out others for being critical. Just stop already bro goodness gracious. -
CarolinaHuddle vs r/panthers
frankw replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have no personal ill will toward anyone that chooses to fan different. But I refuse to be a robotic mouthpiece for an organization that has been a laughingstock for the last several years running. They aren't paying me to kiss their ass and they have earned absolutely zero benefit of the doubt. Until we get a string of actual competitive seasons of football there will be no peace. Just my .2 cents. -
Much of what's being said reminds me a great deal of what the reaction was after the Packers game last year where Bryce looked the best he ever had versus one of the worst defenses in the league and one whose defensive coordinator was getting a lot of criticism at the time. The next game Bryce looked awful and we got taken to the woodshed by a Jaguars team starting their backup quarterback. Too many similarities to that instance to get much of anything from this win. Need to see irrefutable production and progress against better teams.

DJ Moore broke my heart in that game in Chicago. He had himself a real good time rubbing our noses in it through that blowout. He can rot in that shitshow there.

I don't like admitting it but for the most part he's in another league compared to our decision makers.

You could be right. I wouldn't bet money on it though. We've been talking about their demise for years especially in relation to the cap. We figured they would automatically bottom out when Brees and Payton exited the picture. After several years of us looking like ass and having the worst win percentage in all of sports they're just now finally bottoming out. I despise them and their city but I'm not going to assume they will stay down for long. Been there and seen it before. That's just my personal experience. To each his own.
-
Love seeing them in turmoil but the rejoice may be shortlived as all homerism aside they could very well end up hiring a decent to pretty good head coach down the line.
-
That's where the disconnect is. You perceive stating the reality of the situation as rooting against him. Oh now we're talking race huh? I never saw or heard one single peep out of you while CJ Stroud was getting dragged through the mud predraft for things such as his upbringing or his character. I was there recognizing it for what it was. Didn't see you.

Bryce Young this season as of right now: 128 pass attempts 60.2 completion % 694 yards 3 touchdowns 6 interceptions 5.4 yards per attempt If he plays the rest of the season and significantly improves these numbers across the board against better competition I will begin to feel some semblance of hope going forward. Until then those are backup numbers at best.

It's called perspective. The way people are talking you would think we wiped the Saints off the field from start to finish. Honestly we should have dropped 40 points on that terrible Saints defense. Truthfully the Saints should have probably dropped the same on our terrible defense. When we run into a team with a better offense and a better QB who will run up the score quickly we will be right back where we started and the holier than thou posts like the one above will once again disappear.
-
Still in here diminishing to pump up Bryce I see. I guess we all imagined Jalen Coker bailing Bryce Young out multiple times the last 2 games.
-
Who is "ya'll"? Aren't you the same one that unabashedly admits he jumped ship after we released Cam? Our QB room as a whole is CHEEKS. The sooner you realize and admit that and stop trying to polish a turd the better off you'll be.

Chiefs Bucs Eagles Cowboys Cardinals upcoming after the Giants. Needless to say the sunshine and rainbows vibe here isn't sustainable for much longer.

I'm well aware this is a developmental season but we also did not enter this season with our GM telling us it was a full rebuild. He specifically said it was a "retooling". That is the issue why he is not getting a pass from some people. He like Fitterer before him lacks the understanding that we are not a player or even a few players away from truly competing. And this franchise has the worst win percentage in all of professional sports the last few years. Let's not sit here and say this has nothing to do with wins. No one in this organization is paid to put out a terrible product. As of right now we are barely ahead of the Saints for worst team in the league. Congratulations Dan I guess.

It has everything to do with what you said. It's up to the head coach to prepare his team each week. A football team does not get blown off the field that bad in 2 games and it not be for a lack of trying. Come on.

Going up against 39 year old Joe Flacco helps substantially.
-
So by your logic regarding Dalton the #1 overall pick from last year should be unequivocally separating himself significantly from the 37 year old washed up QB in question yes? What do the numbers say though? 2024: Dalton 160 pass attempts 66.3 completion % 989 yards 7 touchdowns 6 interceptions 6.2 yards per attempt Young 128 pass attempts 60.2 completion % 694 yards 3 touchdowns 6 interceptions 5.4 yards per attempt Not seeing separation there. Both look like backups at best.

What I'm getting from this game is he's gone full Sam Darnold. The true Darnold we know. Hot. Cold. Up. Down. Justin Jefferson certainly helps eh? I'll still take that over the noodle arm poo we've got now barely outdueling Derek Carr.

Excuse me. Did we just dream the Bears and Commanders blowout losses?
