BREAKING: Jaycee Horn in Minor Car Accident
frankw replied to WUnderhill's topic in Carolina Panthers
Running a light in the rain in uptown Charlotte is certainly a gamble. -
Fitterer had a thing for Jags rejects. He got sent out of town on a rail and deservedly so. Don't see the point in revisiting old habits.

Wednesday practice tweets (joint practice with the Browns!)
frankw replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh honey. Bless your heart. When you’re closely monitoring my conversations in the ghost town Hornets section just waiting for your moment to pop up out of the blue and try to make something in there about your insatiable need to defend Bryce Young it's beyond official like a referee whistle. But fret not. You'll never have to pay rent don't worry. -
The truly ironic thing in all this is if Bryce Young himself actually operated under the mentality of his loudest fragile superfan club he'd never actually see any flaws in himself or work to improve. He'd blame everything else. Dude probably wouldn't even leave his house. Good thing he at least has that going for him!

You really should get on the Tepper's payroll. No sense working for free. -
It's amusing that some folks who are loudly vocally perpetually tired of what they perceive to be constant Bryce Young criticism are actively rehashing arguments from two years ago since they can frame it in a way to paint him as a victim. Newsflash. Bryce is doing just fine. He's got roughly 38 million reasons to have a pep in his step.

So the team filmed edited and posted their own joint practice highlights? And no fans in attendance? Interesting. -
I don't really want to get into the weeds about Tua again. If he's a comp to Bryce then we're already cooked. He is mediocre. Between the OL Legette Coker TMac our young TE's and our backfield it's a sink or swim season.
-
I liked Golden as a prospect too. But I think you are selling TMac short on what he brings to the field. The kid is going to be a problem for defenses. I think both of them will have good careers. Ultimately if Bryce can't succeed with a talent like TMac then I just don't think it's going to happen. At that point you shoot your shot again on QB in the next draft.

Put it this way. If our ability to compete hinges on 35 year old Thielen's availability after drafting WR in the first two years in a row then someone needs to be fired.

BREAKING: Jaycee Horn in Minor Car Accident

Self driving cars are nowhere near being feasible for mass use yet and might not be in our lifetime. But not all public transportation is created equal by any means. And public transportation in many parts of america versus overseas are not at all comparable. In NYC you could either get randomly set on fire or pushed in front of a moving train just trying to use public transit. I'm good. -

Now you're talking! -
True. But at this point the collective offensive group outside of Chuba has to prove the second half of last season is the norm going forward and not a flash in the pan.

It's interesting that you continue to die on this hill of negativity completely ruining your fandom yet you were one of the first people to poo all over the Kon Knueppel pick. Not very consistent of you Mr. Anti Negativity. -
I agree entirely about Mays. He's a gem no doubt.

If running to pass really works we got market cornered!!!
frankw replied to Doc LRB's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean in terms of that being his floor as opposed to his ceiling. We can argue about what this QB or that QB would have done and rehash the same talking points. But at the end of the day the second overall pick from that draft has two playoff wins under his belt already. Fair or not the onus is on our #1 pick to show up and put the division and the league on notice. That's what he was drafted for. -
Christensen is a solid guy to have due to his versatility. But we may find ourselves needing him elsewhere early. Because if I recall correctly Zavala has been banged up a bit already. At this point we're just waiting for the when not if moment that Corbett gets injured. But anyways we can go on for hours about injuries and depth. Hey we're Panthers fans we know something is going to happen. I would like to reach a point where our staff and FO have us in a place where just a few injuries don't cause us to stumble down to poverty level again. Because at the end of the day every team deals with injuries. And we can't keep using that excuse. Sooner or later we have to overcome some adversity.

BREAKING: Jaycee Horn in Minor Car Accident

The guy who started this place has directly told you and anyone else that's been paying attention exactly what the current ownership is and why the ensuing results are what they are. You are mad and looking to place blame for what you perceive to be only negativity at other fans for perceivedly bursting your bubble. That's fine and understandable. But this is not a franchise with sustained success to justify that. If and when we emerge from the gutter then things will change for the better and the staff and front office will begin to receive the benefit of the doubt on things more often than not. But that will not happen before. That's not on you me or any other fan. But that is the current reality for the franchise. No amount of complaints from anyone here one way or another will change that. -

Right I think we are mostly on the same page. But we got obliterated in the first game of the season by a bad Saints team who is now the laughingstock of the division. QB play was a direct part of that as much as the defense unfortunately. We're all hoping the second half of the season Bryce is the real Bryce. That's what it boils down to on the field. -

Most of the people saying that are in just in their feelings. Obviously this format is dated af but if anything kills the huddle it will be the Tepper's. -
Well if I'm being honest in the back of my mind I have concerns. Moton is banged up and center is one injury away from a major issue. That's where Morgan needs to come in and exhaust all attempts to shore up depth at certain positions after cuts.

The defense being terrible and the opposing defense not fearing our passing attack went hand in hand in that respect unfortunately. Until we can establish a stout passing game it will be the same recipe from opposing defenses again this year. -
Of course that will be huge. But more than anything else and beyond QB we need Dave Canales to be the guy. We can't keep cycling head coaches.

I think thou doth protest too much. I've seen plenty of posts from you where you are anything but anti Tepper. I can't even take out my Panthers wallet without someone asking me why on earth I'm a Panthers fan If you or anyone else want to live sunshine and rainbows shooting from your buttocks 24/7 and be an unpaid mouthpiece for the Tepper's that is absolutely your right to do so. Doesn't mean it's the only way or the right way to be a fan.
