Right. Nico Collins and Tank Dell are the go to names but what about Noah Brown? What was he doing before he met CJ Stroud? He had back to back 150+ yard receiving games with CJ throwing him the ball. Clearly they have talent. But there are people being dishonest arguing his receivers are basically making him instead of the other way around. It's a rerun of the argument against drafting him when he played at Ohio State. "His receivers were great he's playing against inferior competition he won't have that advantage in the NFL yada yada". You'd think eventually people would learn. But some are just digging in. It’s just ego. They don't want to be wrong.

He's just melting down because of posts like this.

See that's the issue with posters like yourself and the difference between you and others. You see the results of Bryce Young for the 2023 season and Tua's record against teams with winning records and his recent playoff perfomance and want to argue about anything else to prop them up. Others call it like it is. Losing football games and not looking like a franchise QB.

F is the only answer.
-
Tua 37 attempts 4.9 YPA That Bryce comp was accurate.
-
Wasn't Tua supposed to be Bryce's best case comparison?
-
Heisman lol Now do Johnny Manziel.
-
Oh boy. I see one of the loudest Bryce Young minions is letting the poo reactions fly. Coincidental timing.
-
Stroud was by a significant margin being talked up for months before the draft by many people here as someone we should try to get. Who was pounding the table for Bryce Young last fall?
-
I'd love to have him here. But he has too many other better options and that's not even accounting for Tepper being a meddling egomaniac. Only other option then is someone like Vrabel whom some fans here think is Ron Rivera 2.0 which is false. Beggars can't be choosers.

We should be well past the cope stage. Reality has set in for those that see things with an open perspective. Only alcohol can dull this pain.

They were one play away from being the worst team in the league last season. Yes they have made some damn good moves. But this cope that they had a playoff core ready to go for a rookie QB is ridiculous.

So because I choose not to live in some fairytale where Bryce Young didn't just finish the season with the lowest yards per pass attempt in the last 20 years I'm an assclown? Okay buddy. Sure CJ Stroud would look different here. But to pretend his arm talent that is clearly vastly superior to Bryce Young would not make defenses have to play us differently is just lunacy. You don't want to see the light that's a personal choice my guy.

Please log out and stop coping this hard. You are embarrassing yourself.

Different phsyical talent plain and simple.

Where's the fool who was calling this kid S2troud??? Looks like he's going to be one of the next great young QB's of his generation.
-
Monken is only a few years younger than Reich. And he's not bringing Lamar Jackson with him. Hire one of the young coordinators and keep it pushing.
-
Well the Steve Clifford reunion is still going splendidly I see.
-
Geez ol' Pete got to thinking Geno Smith was going to pull a Nick Foles and go on a fairy tale postseason run. I can see why they said thanks no thanks.
-
What's with the Monken hype? He's almost 60 and he has had Lamar Jackson to work with. Ben Johnson Frank Smith Bobby Slowik and even Canales should be the only names to bother with.
-
I wouldn't be upset if we didn't hire Vrabel because there are other options I feel good about. But this team hasn't been to the playoffs in going on 7 years and we are currently the worst in the league by a significant margin. This franchise doesn't have a history of being a perennial contender either. Can't really keep a straight face and talk poo about Vrabel. If your argument is we can do better alright fair enough. If your argument is he is Ron Rivera I'm calling shenanigans. Ron was on the hot seat in year 2 for being a conservative dinosaur with Cam Newton who then proceeded to save his ass. Ryan Tannehill is the best QB Vrabel has had. If we're going to make comparisons let's at least be fair about it. In the end I'd be fine with rolling the dice on Slowik or just hiring Evero or MacDonald from the Ravens.

Interviewing today apparently.

Need to at minimum make a legit run at Mike Vrabel. Can't let that opportunity pass.
