  1. All we can do is wait and see if Tepper will at least back off his meddling somewhat and let the GM and coach do their jobs. I think it's mostly unlikely. But I'm going to hope for it in the meantime because I need some level of hope before the offseason kicks off and the media and everyone else starts laying into us in for giving the Bears the first pick. We'll see.
  2. Baker Mayfield out here winning playoff games...
  3. Pointless? We gave him the keys to waste another entire draft. Every time he made splash moves he got more desperate and we got worse somehow. We need to hire people who aren't interested in being brown nosers but football people. Unfortunately that's not in David Teppers wheelhouse.
  4. I don't know where he'll rank all time in the NFL when all the smoke clears. Technically you could argue there have been worse. But for us. He destroyed this team like it was his job to do so. And he was very confident about it. Worst Panthers GM by a wide margin. I'm just glad it's finally over with.
  5. With the benefit of hindsight I think all of us should be able to agree by now Fitterer and Rhule absolutely should have been fired together. It made as much sense as keeping Hurney after firing Rivera. I really hope some people don't fool themselves into idolizing our next GM before they've proven anything here. At least let them come in and draft some good football players. Then we'll talk.
  6. Too bad your #1 fan abandoned their account in the midst of all this Panthers fail eh?

  8. Man the Eagles really fell into a trash pile quick after Steichen left. I don't want anyone from that org.
  9. Safe to say you weren't paying attention. CJ Stroud himself had to come out and say he's a football player not a test taker. Well. The young man certainly proved himself there.
  10. They played differently. Cam's rushing ability was used to the overall detriment of his career Iongevity. The Panthers ran him into the ground. The last time we were in the playoffs guess who our leading rusher was? He also almost won that playoff game throwing to practice squad receivers. We can also admit now with a new perspective that yes indeed Cam could have done more to hone his craft as a passer. He and Ron Rivera share responsibility for the bitter end of his career here. It didn't have to end that way. Tepper also did him dirty you don't treat players who completely changed your franchise like that. He's had us in perpetual disaster ever since. Fitting.
  11. Buddy quit the team and the board over the McCaffrey trade. It's best to laugh at his hypocrisy and keep it pushing.
  12. Quinn would be ridiculously underwhelming. I'd rather hire pretty much any of the other young coordinators.
  13. Sad truth is we could have kept Borrego and been playing better basketball than this. MJ should be punched in the dick for canning James just to hire back Steve.
  14. Allen is a very good young QB. You don't need to diminish what Cam did for the position to acknowledge this unless he's living rent free in your head all these years later for "reasons".
  15. Might as well be. Last thing we need to do with the state our franchise has been in is hire anyone from these teams that immediately faceplanted the moment they got into the playoffs
  16. Alts quoting each other now?
  17. Can't escape comparisons and criticism. You take a few quick glances at Twitter or Facebook and it will be considerably uglier than even here. Until the Panthers get something (anything really) right this is what we are going to deal with. And it's going to get worse as the offseason opens up and the media and NFL fans in general mock us for what we gave up in the trade.
  18. We should get a pinned post feature here for threads. This is the one.
  19. The Chiefs have so many damn bandwagon ass celebrity fans. So many "lifelong" die hards now.
  20. Jordan Love is a problem damn. Running up the score. Very nice.
  21. Chargers will be meeting with Jim Harbaugh in the coming days.
  22. Hurts is pretty damn good he's just been streaky and clearly misses having Steichen calling plays. He was a big part of their success last season clearly. I agree about Tua and Bryce though. Looking like they're both fools gold. You can say Tua did this and that in the regular season but he folded like a lawn chair in the playoffs with one if the league's most talented offenses. Meh.
