  1. It's interesting seeing some of the same folks screaming at the top of their lungs at others in gameday threads last year that the OL was why Bryce Young struggled so badly are now mocking others for wanting to solidify the center position.
  2. Frazier to the Steelers of all places. Probably will end up starting there for several years. Thems the breaks.
  3. I guess it's just not what you want to hear when you trade back up after trading down. Not for an RB. Teams just don't have to draft this position in the early rounds like that anymore. But hey I'm happy to let him prove to me he was worthy of the pick.
  4. Did not know this. Well that uh kinda puts a damper on things there.
  5. Traded back up to draft a running back lol gotta love our Panthers. Hopefully he's a baller though.
  6. I get wanting the 2nd for next year it's nice to have but we still have to prove we can draft worth a damn in the mid to late rounds. Need to nail this draft regardless.
  7. Oh boy doing our best Scott Fitterer impression.
  8. They still better do it if they want to stop being shut out of the end zone like last year. Need a backup plan.
  9. Aiyuk would be a fantastic get but what's that contract going to look like? People here barely even wanted to pay DJ Moore the contract he got and now he's one of the league's lesser paid weapons.
  10. In hindsight you could make the argument of keeping him. But we still had no franchise QB. Nor did we have a staff in place to utilize him without making him the entire offense to the detriment of the rest of the moving parts. As a result he could not stay healthy here. Then you have the issue that whether he says it publicly or not let's be honest he was at least partially relieved to get back to the city his family has deep roots in. He's where he and they wanted him to be. Can't keep torturing ourselves trying to look back.
  11. Any semblance of winning will help alleviate most of what you describe. It's what we all want. We'll see.
  12. RB's are a dime a dozen. If he doesn't do something this season you draft another and keep on drafting them. Not in the first round though.
  13. The argument that him popping up around the city jokingly confronting people is going to help the fanbase is an interesting one. Years back I finally started to see many new Panthers fans around Charlotte before he bought the team. Now I'm luck to see anyone with Panthers gear. First order of business should be turning that around. Last order of business is getting annoyed about criticism. Worry about that when the team actually stops being a doormat and a joke.
  14. We're all frustrated. We can eat each other or we can have honest realistic no punches pulled discussions and also hope for the best it we so choose. The poster you are referring to is not a example of silencing opinion though. That was Poundaway aka SBBlue who attacked anyone that said a negative word about the team and also later went down in flames on those previous accounts via meltdowns over Matt Rhule. Dude literally went down with the Rhule ship over it he defended that guy so much. Then came back and pretended nothing happened. Did the same thing with Bryce Young. If you're going to use an example try not to use the mentally ill. Honestly the mods did him a favor. This place was not healthy for him.
  15. Banning people for being negative about a football team that has only had like 7 winning seasons in nearly 30 years sounds like a good way to nuke your own community. The noise isn't going to get any quieter once the season kicks off. We're going to be hearing about it until Bryce silences it. That's all there is to it.
  16. Hey Tepper. You own the sports franchise with the worst win percentage in all of professional sports the last few years. How about getting some good publicity for a change?
  17. He really just walked in and took the hat right off a strangers head like he owned the place. He's old enough to be someone's grandfather. Even if you can find a way to defend him this is just more bafflingly entitled behavior from the same man who threw a drink on an opposing fan. He is so thin skinned it is simply laughable. Just embarrassing. No way around it.
  18. I understand your frustration. But let's not be the place that bans folks for such frivolous reasons.
  19. I mean what else were we going to do we have to give him one last shot. I'm hoping from here all the sudden he's healthy the rest of his career for several seasons but that sounds like a dream scenario. At some point you just chalk it up to bad luck or some guys just have a higher propensity for injuries. We'll see.
  20. In fairness to Chuba.... When every player on the defense and every fan in the stands knows we aren't going to pass because we have the worst pass offense in the league it makes it tough to run for any back. But we need a one two punch backfield we need someone that offers a different skillset we need a bruiser type to compliment him.
  21. People are reactionary I agree. That's just sports fandom. We all can get that way at some time or another. But on the flip side. We also can't write too much from camp even if certain players wow us. Wasn't TMJ a camp hero a couple times then he disappeared in preseason? Man we've just had it rough all around. Tepper criticism aside. This fanbase has earned something worth watching at minimum.
  22. He had 23 touchdowns in 2 seasons. Most of us assumed TMJ would be a major red zone threat. At the end of the day he seems to have fallen into the Dwayne Jarrett category. He just doesn't want it. Maybe Mingo could end up the same. Too early to call. Wayyyyyyy too early to call to throw our 1st round pick this year into the same mixed bag with them. Let's get him to camp.
  23. TMJ balled out in college and we see what's become of him. Production or lack of production doesn't guarantee anything the right situation also makes a big impact for receivers. They can't throw to themselves. Also some of this is due to Bryce himself and I have no doubt as the season went on receivers got fed up with it. Would you keep trying to go full bore if your #1 pick couldn't hit you deep with the whole defense behind you? Hopefully Canales can fix some of these issues and at least get us back in the end zone more often. But we are still at the mercy of Bryce Young's physical traits. We'll see what happens.
  24. This is hilarious. Honestly I think Cousins is overrated AF and this being the Falcons it's such an extra layer of schadenfreude
