  1. At this point as low as we've already sunk if it gets Hayward and that contract off us just do it. I still don't believe Jordan will fire James Borrego after the recent extension though. He just can't help himself.
  2. No intensity no hustle letting randos just stroll in layups and watching them pour it on from three. Anybody not named LaMelo and Miles needs to be considered in a trade package moving forward. Zero culture on this team.
  3. Full on clown show tonight. Hornets looked at the Panthers and said here hold my beer.
  4. This same team we are facing went on a playoff run with an interim coach. Can't have your team looking like this in back to back play in games and not be on the hot seat. That being said we play truly awful defense.
  5. Good. The Panthers should be kissing his ass trying to get him back on staff.
  6. The Bucs have their own forum if you like him so much
  7. Sure would be nice to have that high 2nd round pick though. Wouldn't need to talk about trade down scenarios. We can thank the trade day guru for that.
  8. I'll believe it when I see it but the only problem with trading back is missing on some starters waiting around. We got a little too cute with that last year. Can't repeat that this year. But an OT and a QB would certainly be nice.
  9. You guys are good for a laugh. Newton wasn't even the consensus top QB in his draft let alone the consensus top pick. If he came out this year there would still be the same whiners saying we shouldn't risk it let's go OL or DL.

  11. I think we see some big trades in the future. But it all depends on how this play in goes. Hayward is pretty much done man that guy is never going to finish another season. The Hornets can surely see this regardless of what happens tonight.
  12. Of course it should be looked into and we know teams most certainly will. But just because others have been unable to escape from it doesn't mean he is doomed to be the next Justin Blackmon. That's all I'm saying
  13. Not being sold on his abilities is one thing but this is being exaggerated. He got help and got on the right path. We have a QB right now who has not had any of those issues that we know of and he's the definition of milquetoast and has zero leadership ability.
  14. Nah Miles isn't going anywhere. This is his and LaMelo's team now. They are your future. From there you shape things out.
  15. The difference is the goal line work. Yeah you can rattle off a few QB's who have similar average carries. But how many of them are their offenses primary redzone weapon and being asked to superman leap over end zones? It all depends on how and where they are used that determines physical deterioration. Now are those guys you mentioned going to play for many more years? Who knows. But there is a reason Cam holds the rushing records he does and that was the trade off we gambled on his career with. Was it worth it? I would say no because we failed at maximizing the offense around him.
  16. 40 obviously is not the norm but Cam as your example is extreme. Very few quarterbacks in the future are going to be used as a battering ram by their coaches on a consistent basis.
  17. They aren't Sam Darnold. I don't want em' either but I've been trying to tell you "let's roll with Sam" folks. No one in the building wants to see that again.
  18. What isn't there to get? Rhule is not going to hinge his season and NFL career on another season of Darnold willingly. Sam's little podcast interview only drove the point home even further about him and made him less desirable to the Panthers fanbase. If you don't want a rookie quarterback this year at all costs go ahead and prep the Jimmy G or Baker Mayfield jersey.
  19. Yeah there is truth in that but at the end of the day your front office has to have to cajones to take a shot at a rookie. The Panthers thought they could take a shortcut to get their "messiah" last year and they didn't even bother with his game film. After three games they got a good look at him. It basically went as follows:
  20. He starts off his argument saying rookie quarterbacks didn't save their coaches jobs and his two examples are Justin Fields and Matt Nagy and Mitch Trubisky and John Fox. This is not great content.
