  1. Even before Icky's new deal we are ahead of the Chiefs at #2 by $14 million. #3 we are ahead by $26 million. We are absolutely paying through the nose to protect our QB who goes out there and plays horrendously with poor body language.
  2. #1 in OL spending for 2025. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/position/offensive-line/_/year/2025/table/active/sort/cap_total
  3. Replacing Evero goes without saying. But we victimized ourselves by forcing him to stay on orders directed by David Tepper.
  4. Yeah not adding up at all. And we have leaned heavily into the PFF analytics as an org now even going as far as hiring one with such background. Doesn't seem to amount to anything in the win column though that's for sure.
  5. I have no idea but I'll trust my own two eyes. He's still playing like one of the worst QB's in recent memory.
  6. Oh man. The people here who went to the extreme to rationalize it were many. Oddest thing I've seen.
  7. I think we can go back to disregarding PFF. Don't we have one of these guys in our FO too? And we're still dogshit? Yeah....
  8. That's what I mean. The full effect of what Cam brought in his prime would more often than not at least give you a game worth watching.
  9. More concerned with his table manners than how he would actually translate to the NFL. Don't let these people off the hook either. The hype machine for this kid before the draft was one of the craziest things I've ever seen.
  10. There it is! Of course you're that guy.
  11. Ah yes the fabled "big time throw" metric that said Bryce Young was better than Josh Allen Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow lol
  12. The Fins are the last team we want to be mentioned with. They just got dogwalked by a team starting Daniel Jones.
  13. Well yes that. But I meant even before that. In 2015 and 2016 when they allowed the refs to actively push for Manning and the Broncos in the Super Bowl and our QB to be headhunted. And that was all despite the fact that our extremely gullible previous owner at the time went out of his way at every turn to be subservient to the league office even to the detriment of our franchise. No way in hell I'll just turn the page and start rooting for another team like it never happened. Just my .2 cents.
  14. The only plus from here is over the course of the rest of the season Canales is either going to reveal himself to be the guy we hired him to be or he is going to flounder like Bryce has.
  15. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/panthers-adam-thielen-both-asked-182711572.html "When I spoke to Thielen in June, I asked him about J.J. McCarthy’s trajectory after missing the 2024 season, before any of these rumors sprouted. Thielen believes McCarthy is built for big moments and will eventually show the world the skillset that won the Michigan Wolverines a national championship in 2023/2024. He even said McCarthy could be the “face of the league.” “I have high expectations for him. I've been able to be around a little bit through some of the time last summer... back in Minnesota, and I think he has the ability to be one of the great quarterbacks this season and the face of this league at some point. You know, I think he's got every tool and intangible that you can have,” Thielen said. “Obviously, it's a difficult league and it's not gonna just be easy, but I think he has the ability to handle adversity to be able to be big in big moments, as you saw when he was in college. I think he's got a great support staff around him, whether it be the coaches or the trainers.” Thielen already sounds like McCarthy’s teammate the way he speaks about him. Maybe he knew something we didn’t in June."
  16. You're no different than the guy who went around here bragging about hiding out from his Panthers fandom in his Lamar Jackson jersey like an overgrown baby. What was his name again? You act like a great deal like @CamWhoaaCam
  17. He was talking up JJ in early June. Seeing how his former QB played today solidified one of the key reasons why he wanted out. It wasn't the only reason. But the man wasn't blind either no matter what he said publicly in support of a friend.
  18. To be clear just watching football and actively becoming a fan of another team and reengaging with that are two different things. I was referring to the latter. And that's personally something I'll never do. Because I've seen this league actively try to destroy us.
  19. You'll get no argument out of me regarding your disappointment in Legette. But there's no need to be dishonest with one another about Thielen. And no matter what he said about Bryce publicly on his way out he made it crystal clear he wanted to play with a rookie QB in McCarthy very badly.
