Chuba is what he is he has potential. Two of the best factors going for him are he can actually get onto the field and he isnt the highest paid at his position. Weird but not surprising that some people hate on him so much but still make excuses for others.

This should be on the first page all week tbh. Some folks really did not learn from the Kyle Allen saga.
-
Yes it sucks to lose him but he's a running back you guys have got to grow out of this mentality. Yesterday the Giants throttled us and gloated in the process. And they did so without their top 10 pick rb and they were missing three of their receivers. Daniel Jones caught a one handed pass for a first down yesterday and people are still crying about Christian McCaffrey. We cannot and will not win anything of significance with the highest paid rb. We need a real qb!
-
They aren't just sitting on the routes bc of playcalling they've watched film and know Sam is zero threat to connect deep they don't even have to worry about half the field. As for PJ Walker the man is a former XFL quarterback what more needs to be said? But we put him in too late to have any kind of effect by that point the Giants had all momentum and our receivers were done they started to check out because they do not believe in the starting qb. The game was already over.

I can understand why some people would want to believe that but the truth is there if you look for it. Tepper signs the checks he bought the hype hook line and sinker and barely a year later Hurney was gone. I do believe this has been the Rhule show from the jump. Hopefully this will be a learning experience from Tepper but if not well you already know lol.

He had a receiver open low and one alone in the end zone and threw a pick that's not mechanics that's the same decision making that got him ran out of New York. Yeah Joe Brady needs to be replaced but Sam's decision making is some of the worst I've seen and that didn't just happen the last three weeks you can see the same crap on his Jets tape.
-
Yesterday he threw a pass into an area with five Giants defenders from a clean pocket. The oline could be better but he's always been the same Sam Darnold. Accept it and move on.

Take him back please and thank you.

They had some bad losses but the offense then to now is night and day at least Cam could get you some big plays. Sam is somehow worse with his decision making when he has time. It's clear our offensive players do not believe in Darnold. Rhule and Fitterer made this mess. At least Ron had the balls to draft Cam despite talking heads saying he wasn't even the best qb in the draft. Rhule chose to put all his chips in on Darnold and baby him. Barf.

But Riverboat was rudderless without an athletic monster like Cam Newton. He had a damn good defensive coordinator who has ended up making an even better head coach too.

Fantastic team basketball out there. 3-0 for the first time in franchise history. Great to see a small market team thriving and the vaunted superteams struggling. This is what the NBA needs.
-
If we had drafted a qb things would look probably very different ideally you would sit him while we build the oline and bring in someone better than PJ Walker and Will Grier to hold it down until he's ready. But no matter which way you want to go down the rabbit hole of what if scenarios the plan of going all in on Sam Darnold was fugged from the beginning we should all be able to agree on that.
-
Whatever happens to Rhule is of his own doing but fug that guy and anybody still crying about him as far as I'm concerned. He isnt a Panther and the Giants just whooped our asses I'm tired of reading about his sob story he's got a 14 million dollar contract get over it and enjoy NY.
-
Goes to show you never can tell. I wasn't sold on Mac either but said I wouldn't be shocked if he made fools out of some ppl though. My fear is the Panthers looking at the qb class of 2021 and saying no thanks we'll go with Sam Darnold could be a bad dream that lasts for quite awhile. These are decisions that have ramifications for more than just one or two seasons.
-
Kudos to you for speaking up but you are the only one willing apparently. Just as recent as yesterday I was attacked for discussing Darnold's penchant for awful throws in a thread where fans were piling on Mac Jones whose team just dropped 54 points. But those posters are silent. Typical.

I understand the folks who are against it but we did this to ourselves. Could have taken Fields at 8 and not given up multiple picks for Mr. Turnover. But without a qb the rest of the talent we have may as well be for naught and premier players aren't going to want to come here or stay for long with the current qb room. We are becoming the Browns of yesteryear and we only have our front office to blame.
-
That hurts to think about. This is what we should have done but we have a coach and gm that instead wanted to try to prove to everyone they were the smartest in the room. Now look at em'
