Enough with the Ray Finkle shenanigans. Where's that kicker we had in camp? Bring him in and see what's what.

Leave Eddie in Philadelphia.

I appreciate the gutsy football from Canales and Bryce.

I still think Tremble could be an asset for us. Shown way more than anything from Ian Thomas.

Hoping for the best for Brooks. But RB is and has been a devalued position investment wise for most teams. Panthers should have continued building the oline by investing in a center for the future. We always do things like this. Morgan played with fire and got burned.

Same old Panthers brother.

I haven't been able to watch. Brooks went down with an injury to the same knee? I don't generally buy into superstition too much but......

Welp boys... We might actually win Sunday
frankw replied to PleaseCutStewart's topic in Carolina Panthers
Of course that's relevant. But this offense isn't exactly one that thrives in the red zone either Bryce's improvements aside. You gotta score points. -
Alright get that dumpster lit.... merged_video_14.mp4

Guess they aren't buying the Bryce hype. -
Pay him but it needs to be a realistic incentive based deal and one where the team can move on a few seasons if need be. No more sweetheart contracts.

Bryce Young: The NFL's Most Aggressive Quarterback in 2024?
frankw replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
You know. It's possible to compliment Bryce Young without going out of your way to denigrate our only MVP in franchise history and one of only two long term starting QB's in about 30 years unprompted. -
Only down 11 at the half. Thought it would be worse lol.

Serious question: Jameis Winston or Bryce Young straight-up?
frankw replied to HardcoreHokie's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would be fine with him as a veteran backup here. -
He had 339 touches last year and 329 touches in 2022. He also came out of college with a record number of touches. He's simply got a ton of miles on him and he'll be 29 next summer. Eventually it all adds up and that wall is there waiting for every RB.

I made this very remark back when people here were wanting to pay this guy 20-25 million a season once upon a time. A few people jumped all over me. I've been skeptical of Morgan but at least he was wise enough to cut bait quickly after taking a chance on this guy. He's just another headcase WR.

PFF names Panthers QB Bryce Young the best deep passer

The majority of the huddle was all but ready to turn the page after the conclusion of his rookie season. It's not hyperbole to say in several key statistics he had one of the worst rookie seasons in many years. That's why even looking like a competent starting QB is being met with near parades around these parts. But the people who are looking to talk down to others are definitely forgetting this franchises past with the QB position if they are getting too invested in only the last 4 games. Even a guy like Baker Mayfield who people around the NFL had said finally turned the corner looked like dogshit against our defense and has now fallen off again.
