    Wow what a white flag play. Look I've been hesitant to call for Rhule's job but this is just really bad and if Rivera got the hot seat treatment for this stuff I don't care how many years are on the deal this is worse than ugly.

    Nice completion followed by a horrific pick six. That's Sam Darnold's nfl career in a nutshell. Looks like that's going down as one of our worst trades. Sigh.

    There are several different variables at play here but the team goes as the qb goes and our qb inspires absolutely nothing on either side of the ball. It's time to end the Darnold experiment.

    If there's any shred of hope it begins now as slim of a chance as it may be. But if today is another struggle and a tough loss you can't keep putting that guy out there eventually it has a detrimental effect in the locker room. I've been disappointed in Sam but I also very much despise the Patriots and the thought of losing to both Daniel Jones and Mac Jones is pretty depressing.

    Home game with CMC back and against an old foe. If Sam can't put together a good game here I really don't want to hear any nonsense about being a future starter. It doesn't even matter about Belichick. This is an opposing qb many raked over the coals for weeks before the draft. There is no excuse to lose to that guy. Get it done or get out as far as I'm concerned.

    Even before Sam injured his shoulder we were terrified of him throwing. CMC will see minimum 25 touches and we'll have 40 or more rushing attempts again.

    We have seen some development but if Borrego is going to remain stubbornly resistant to giving his younger players minutes he will just become another Steve Clifford and talent like LaMelo will simply move on elsewhere.
