  1. Idk I hear what you're saying and why you would consider that but I view it as Rhule adapting and learning how to be a coach for big personalities and also learning how to lead a group of men as opposed to college kids. As fans we've always talked about how Ron could have been much more if he had not been stubborn about different things over the years. We know he's made mistakes but my hope is that Matt Rhule can become the coach we need if he is willing to humble himself and acknowledge faults and move forward with that purpose in mind. We'll see.
  2. Ikr. Who do these people think they are talking about sports? What a couple of cool freethinking bros you two are.
  3. Even when Sam had time and a clean pocket he threw some of the worst picks I've ever seen into double triple and even quadruple coverage. PJ wasn't mistake free but he played night and day better than Sam. Your lame attempt at an intelligence swipe doesn't change reality.
  4. Barnidge is bitter damn. Someone has to tell Gary being a generic facebook or comment section hater isn't podcast worthy. Good luck finding listeners.
  5. Yeah I concur with others about risk of injury after what happened to Cam. But everyone in that locker room with Ted might not feel the same way when they go over the tape from that game and that's part of being the leader on offense. That's the job.
  6. Somehow you managed to one up the first post with this. You're practically dunking on yourself rn. It's amusing.
  7. PJ was getting the ball out on time and had rhythm with his receivers. Do you think it's just a coincidence we ran all those slants and Robby Anderson suddenly had great hands again?
  8. From a gamesmanship standpoint you are right but Ron also already knows the obvious after last night's game and will be planning for Cam regardless.
  9. Can you two please keep your politics out of my football and take this to the tinderbox?
  10. Unbelievable irony in this statement from one of the leaders of the Sam Darnold defense force who still won't even address the Patriots loss.
  11. It's a shame people post stuff like this after a blowout road win. This man wanted to give Sam Darnold three years to develop here. He would be perfectly fine just being a mediocre non-threatening football team again if the qb doesn't challenge his own preconceived notions.
  12. The ball did reach DJ's hands. He was mugged so he didn't haul it in obv. But for a 32 year old qb that has been with the team less than a full week he got us closer than the previous 24 year old qb who sailed balls over receivers heads or out of bounds consistently.
  13. PJ wasn't without flaws yesterday but he stood tall in the pocket and made some really good throws. Even with the few gaffes that's the best we've seen in weeks from a Panthers qb. The guy doesn't deserve the hate he has received here especially when you consider who he took the reins from.
  14. Doesn't do any good to try and rehash this back to your corners and hills to die on mentality with #1. This is a much different Cam. He has a different role and a different mentality. Embrace it with him. The window for this group is open but who knows for how long. I'm just glad to see a revitalized and now cohesive unit. Where we go from here who knows but based on yesterday we can say we at least know this team has some fight in them again. As long as that remains we have a shot against anyone.
  15. It wasn't like the throw was that far off looked like a timing issue and how the corner was playing Moore. We know Cam isn't going to throw it deep like he used to but with a smart gameplan and this defense playing the way they are we don't need that anyway. Just enjoy the ride folks we can nitpick when it's over.
  16. Beautiful redemption game right there. The refs tried to sabotage us but we still fought through and sent the Warriors off with an L. This was a Sunday to remember for our local sports teams ya'll enjoy it.
  17. They have been using him wisely and he isn't getting hit as much this should be the new approach if they want him available more often moving forward.
  18. Credit to PJ Walker he may or may not have a future as a starter but he's not letting this opportunity go to waste.
  19. PJ looks the same as last year but the offense is night and day with Darnold out of the picture and the whole team is vibing differently with the addition of Cam. You can tell what was lacking and it wasn't just turning the ball over the offense has a different energy on the whole. They are feeding off of one another.
  20. Can't be surprised this is who PJ is his limitations have been known by this staff it was only a matter of time this is why we must value the position more moving forward. He's still better than Sam though as sad as that may be.
  21. So Robby didn't forget how to football after all. Who'dathunkit?
  22. I'm so happy for Cam. Robby Anderson is suddenly a playmaker again. This is just a different football team today and I love it.
