The huddle negotiating:
-
Man you always hating on somebody unless it's Calvin Ridley
-
You've been refreshing hours on end right here with us
-
No I want a real offense and a real QB so we can stop getting blown out by the likes of the Giants Dolphins and WFT. If you're cool with that skip over the post my guy no worries.
-
He got his bag. That’s what happens when you make an RB the face of your franchise and think you're going places.
-
Good signing. Had him on my fantasy team last year too he was legit.
-
Nobody wants to watch Sam Darnold play quarterback here anymore not even the staff. Why do people keep suggesting this?
-
Fug that next year noise. Keep Burns and Chinn. Get an LT a C and welcome Malik Willis to the Carolinas. Let the old school fans who whine about mobile quarterbacks sit in the corner with their Jake Delhomme highlights.
-
Now the 49ers involved. Looking like the idea of getting Watson without giving up any players is fantasy.
-
If he actually prefers the Saints overall move to the draft and keep building the oline. No need to waste precious opportunities while our defense falls off a cliff for someone who prefers the swamp rats over the Panthers.
-
If he's exhausting options it's either to drive up the price or we are only his reluctant destination which would make giving up a haul for him moot as we would face an uphill battle in retaining his services down the line.
-
Well I guess nothing today then. That Thursday prediction might be spot on after all.
-
Well yeah but the only way we could swing that would be with more picks right? I would have nothing bad to say about Tepper if we made that happen though.
-
This is just games driving the price up. It'll be over by the evening most likely regardless.
-
The stuff about holding CMC out is fan speculation. There is a truth we know even if you do not want to admit it. He is not the do all offensive piece you or the coaches have hoped for. Having the best RB cannot make up for not having a franchise QB. I'd like those things you mention too but I don't think it all happens together with a franchise QB. By the time we back our way into one the core will either be aged out or sign elsewhere. You can't just wait around hoping the next franchise QB will fall into your lap. Either you just suck and draft one every year or you make a move when one becomes available which is not often. That's where we're at
-
Yet you advocate holding onto an oft injured running back that is crushing our salary cap without a real QB. What do YOU want?
-
Oh three firsts is steep. But that does not in any way guarantee Houston multiple Super Bowls. And we have yet to get a confirmation on the players involved. But I've been saying we need to change course and start going all in on the offense in a league that is now clearly driven by it. Even if we don't land Watson I will still feel that way.
-
Afternoon.
-
Multiple Super Bowls really? And you have been loving having the highest paid running back in the league with no viable starting quarterback. Do you not like winning or what?
-
Why only focus on that? Stafford went from 3 wins in 2019 to 5 wins in 2020 and everyone jumping on his dick in 2021 wanting to trade for him.
-
If you want Watson to play until his mid thirties he won't be running with the ball in his hands and we gotta protect him. There's definitely some Debbie Downer takes in here but this is the main aspect where we must be honest with ourselves after Cam. And truth be told Tom Brady playing into his mid forties has kinda given way to some unrealistic expectations.
