Standards should be higher. You can't even fall back on development at that point if your group can't even show up for the most consequential game in consecutive seasons. That's not a well coached basketball team.

This is what you get when you let a used care salesman run your whole operation

I still can't believe they did it again last night even after talking about how they know how bad last years play-in was. I'm expecting James Borrego to return though. This franchise is what it is and I hate to finally admit it but I think it begins with Jordan. How do you have the GOAT as your owner and put such a lackluster group effort on the court with the talent we have? T-U-R-R-I-B-L-E.

Alexander predicts we get Garoppolo or Mayfield
frankw replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Minshew is honestly a slight upgrade over Darnold. He has a personality and a better QB brain but who doesn't at this point? We're talking about the worst starting QB last year. Moving back to 16 or 19 for Minshew and a 2nd and a 3rd and patting ourselves on the back for getting a few dimes and a nickle for a quarter is no better than Jimmy G or Mayfield. If folks could accept it I understand I'm just saying he is not what some are hyping him to be. Nobody else has beat down Philly's door for his services or even Jacksonville's for that matter and you know how quarterback desperate this league is. -

To move up to six they would have to send us more than Minshew and a few picks. They got him for a conditional sixth round pick. I wouldn't be against him here but his value around the league is pretty clear. The huddle vastly overrates him. -
Well he was available for a reason.

At this point as low as we've already sunk if it gets Hayward and that contract off us just do it. I still don't believe Jordan will fire James Borrego after the recent extension though. He just can't help himself.

No intensity no hustle letting randos just stroll in layups and watching them pour it on from three. Anybody not named LaMelo and Miles needs to be considered in a trade package moving forward. Zero culture on this team.

Borrego barely gives them minutes.

Full on clown show tonight. Hornets looked at the Panthers and said here hold my beer.
-
This same team we are facing went on a playoff run with an interim coach. Can't have your team looking like this in back to back play in games and not be on the hot seat. That being said we play truly awful defense.
-
Good. The Panthers should be kissing his ass trying to get him back on staff.
-
The Bucs have their own forum if you like him so much

I think we see some big trades in the future. But it all depends on how this play in goes. Hayward is pretty much done man that guy is never going to finish another season. The Hornets can surely see this regardless of what happens tonight.

Of course it should be looked into and we know teams most certainly will. But just because others have been unable to escape from it doesn't mean he is doomed to be the next Justin Blackmon. That's all I'm saying

Not being sold on his abilities is one thing but this is being exaggerated. He got help and got on the right path. We have a QB right now who has not had any of those issues that we know of and he's the definition of milquetoast and has zero leadership ability.
-
Nah Miles isn't going anywhere. This is his and LaMelo's team now. They are your future. From there you shape things out.

The difference is the goal line work. Yeah you can rattle off a few QB's who have similar average carries. But how many of them are their offenses primary redzone weapon and being asked to superman leap over end zones? It all depends on how and where they are used that determines physical deterioration. Now are those guys you mentioned going to play for many more years? Who knows. But there is a reason Cam holds the rushing records he does and that was the trade off we gambled on his career with. Was it worth it? I would say no because we failed at maximizing the offense around him.
