Spotrac has him with a 35 million dollar cap hit next year. Even if we were to be willing not having our 2nd and 3rd this year makes that difficult unless we are going to offer a player in return.
-
Yep I don't like it either but that's how bad it is. I've said all along all involved in the trade should be shown the door.
-
Start with the teams that have the most cap space and go from there. If we are offering compensation there will be a few willing to listen. At this point it should start clicking for fans that they don't want him here even as a backup. They want him out of the building. That speaks for itself.

That ship sunk and is at the bottom of the ocean now guy. You may have to stick with him to a new team.
-
Oof. Well get it over with I guess.
-
Seems odd to have a boner for this guy but complain about this years QB class. Just draft a quarterback.

Watson not out of woods yet - 2nd grand jury

Been telling ya'll the truth. The only player on this roster that should be untouchable is LaMelo. Everyone else if you need to move them do so and build a better team. If mediocre is the bar keep doing this I guess but if you want to compete in the playoffs and not wiped off the court somebody has to go.

That guy is beyond help. I mean when Jets fans can face the truth better than you it's time to snap out of it.

The Pick Should Be Charles Cross or Evan Neal, Period!!!
frankw replied to Matthias's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh I do. I have faith PJ Walker will win us games before Sam will. Cleanse the building of all things Darnold please it is the only way forward from madness. -

Why do people keep saying things like this when we all watched him play? -
Dislike the joke that the franchise has become within the division and the NFC under his watch in a short time? Yes. "Hate" him personally? No.
-
I would be fine with Corral. And yes I do value McAdoo's quarterback evaluation over Rhule's 10/10.

You're really getting too worked up about "running" QB's. First of all that is a very loose description. When I think running QB I think someone who is putting up BIG rushing numbers and has designed runs each game. They do not have pass first drilled into their heads. Are there really any QB's like that left? Most now use their legs and look to extend plays or setup passes when necessary. Can we please have these discussions without everything turning into a "I don't want another Michael Vick" shitslinging fest? The game is changing and most QB's are no longer statues. Just accept it.

He's pretty transparent about which QB's he takes a liking to. Hopefully if we draft Willis types like that will be boycotting the team and do us all a favor.
-
So a rookie QB doesn't feel right but asking 52 other players to forfeit a season with Darnold does?

Some folks are very sensitive about Matt Rhule

REPORT: Panthers are not interested in Baker Mayfield
frankw replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Never knew there were that many Baker Mayfield fanboys around here. Kick rocks with your boy to his next destination -
If there's one mock draft you can consistently ignore it's Mel Kiper's.

"I DON'T WANT ANY OF THE QB'S IN THIS DRAFT WHY ARE WE EVEN TALKING ABOUT THIS" *enters every thread about Willis or Pickett*
-
They're both black can run with the ball and went to a small school so obviously he's Armanti Edwards 2.0
-
Oh absolutely this thread is a prime example of how many fans are still living in a bygone era. Vick's name plastered throughout is more of the same and it's like we hopped in a time machine back to 2010. Some things don't change sadly.
-
It helps when it comes time to talk about the draft but work ethic and character are what separates anyway. Everything we have heard about Willis tells us if there are doubts about his abilities he can and will put in the work to be better.
