Panthers eyeing Sean Payton post Rhule?
frankw replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
He would instantly be the best coach we've ever hired but it would also be a low point for the franchise to stoop to luring away our most bitter rival. I'd like to know who the source is saying this. -
What is the impetus for the “Keep Pounding” pushaway?
frankw replied to davos's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's cute that we have these sycophant accounts here to represent the front office and ownership. The Panthers are and should always be about Keep Pounding. The fans shouldn't have to shame anyone into using common sense. -
According to Scott.... QB competition between Matt and Sam

It will be a beautiful day when his fans leave town with him. -

No coddling this time around. The best man wins. I can't wait to see it. -
In Madden with injuries turned off yeah.

Roughly 2500 touches dating back to Stanford. Now non contact injuries are taking a toll. It doesn't take Miss Cleo to see the writing on the wall. But with a rookie QB incoming I damn sure hope he can last the season this time.

Ironically on a video game is the only place anyone will ever see your boy Sam Darnold play like a franchise QB.
-
Well give him a clipboard and some pom poms and let's see what Matt Corral has.
-
I like John's content not a call out or criticism just showing where we're at now. Worse than Teddy Bridgewater. Let's just flush this and get on with it.
-
Hurney was terrible but the new mgmt really upped the ante with the Darnold dilemma we now find ourselves in. Trying to get rid of the worst QB in the NFL to acquire a QB no other team is willing to trade for.
-
Apparently even Ellis is trying to post pro Sam Darnold fluff. The man is the Deputy Doofy of NFL quarterbacks. Get him out of here

Now I understand why you're so upset
-
Okay in fairness that was a different poster my mistake. Though it is easy to get mixed up considering it's you and one other guy who are this livid about the Corral selection. If we selected him in the top 10 I could understand the rage but we are in no man's land here hoping anything sticks we just had to watch a season of Darnold playing quarterback and no good to great veteran quarterbacks want to play here by choice. This is what you get when you think you can walk in and toss aside an MVP quarterback on a whim without a real plan and just start winning games. The NFL gave Tepper and Rhule a thick slice of humble pie.

Damn he really said Ryan Leaf lmao. I can't imagine being this BIG mad at a Panthers draft pick. If he doesn't work out we draft another quarterback you keep taking shots until you hit. All this salt from you is because you want us to take your guy from Coastal Carolina.

Tom Brady taking what should have been Greg Olsen's spot
frankw replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Gronk knows that the personality he has presented to the fans sells he's fine with that as long as it keeps making him money. I can't fathom why anyone would badmouth Marshawn he seems like one of the most down to Earth players out there. You should go ahead and just put the #12 jersey as your avatar be free be yourself. -

I'm sure you can find some like minded Brady slurping on the Bucs boards if you want to head on over there -

I had reached a point after all those years after our Super Bowl loss where I was mostly indifferent with Tom. But all this with his retirement and that mess with his final touchdown ball the guy is a dick and the sooner he rides off into the sunset with his family the better. -
Even in the link you offer there is a side mention of the daughter of the creator of the wonderlic test who says it is useless in this day and age. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/why-daughter-of-wonderlic-test-creator-isnt-happy-with-the-nfl/ What's your personal opinion on it? At best it's hit and miss. Definitely not something we should judge a QB on before they have played meaningful time in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes and Geno Smith had the same wonderlic score of 24

Robby (Robbie) Anderson changed his name and his #
frankw replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah I'm not arguing he's going to be a dominant take over games wideout that should be DJ Moore considering expectations. Though in truth we have not had a consistent deep passing game in the last two seasons some of that has been the OL the rest has been the inability of our QB's to accurately get the ball there. But Teddy was right about our redzone struggles we didn't want to admit it at the time but our staff was not getting it done and we know that now.
