  1. Indeed. It's very simple. If the draft plays out where the Panthers are up next and one of the top QB's are available Dan Morgan and Dave Canales cannot afford to say no thanks. It does not matter how Bryce Young plays over the next 3 games or what he did over the last few. The broader body of work is there for anyone to see.
  2. If he is the future why is it that Andy Dalton managed to orchestrate what is still the highest scoring game of the season? And he stinks.
  3. You're "totally fine if we move on" but are deadset against drafting a QB at any point next year and fine with just running it back with this QB room? Do you actually think the other players on the roster whose careers depend on all this are good with that? Does Bryce Young matter more than them? I do not think you are this measured and rational person you falsely present yourself to be. How many posts of yours have I pooed simply because I disagree with you? Now direct that same question at yourself and assess.
  4. Where did I say Dalton is good? You removed the rest of the post that clearly stated what he is at this stage in his career. And that's the point. He stinks. But he's still the best we've seen at any point in the last 2 seasons. And yet still there are people such as yourself here with subterranean level standards for Bryce Young. And you telling someone else they see what they want to see is peak hypocrisy to the point I might have to get you a wellness check.
  5. I mean let's get down to the nitty gritty truth here. The best we've seen this offense at any point in the season was with Dalton. The only game where we scored 30 or more points. And guess what? Andy Dalton is so terrible and washed at this stage in his career we had to milk his sprained thumb for weeks. Raise your standards my man geesh.
  6. Canales deserves criticism and needs to give up playcalling duties but you also need to grapple with the reality that this passing offense just can't gain any real traction with Bryce Young behind center.
  7. Your definition of solid varies greatly from mine. Daniel Jones meltdown was a huge swing in our only win out of those 5 games. This Dallas team had a poorly ranked defense. There's simply no excuse for only 50 or so passing yards outside of the long TD to Jalen Coker. That specifically has been the concern about Bryce Young as a passer to the point where if he gets over 250 passing yards we have to pinch one another to make sure we aren't dreaming. Luckily for us you won't be making that decision. Some other folks whose jobs depend on how Bryce Young performs will likely feel otherwise.
  8. That wasn't a dip. How many times does he need to bounce back? How many times did we let Kyle Allen bounce back?????? It's legitimately wild this is your standard considering you go out of your way to poo posts.
  9. I completely understand where you're coming from. This sort of thing was discussed at length multiple times before the draft and it was plainly stated by reasonable individuals that it would make for an uphill battle for him to say the least as a starting QB in the NFL. But many many people shouted others down.
  10. We both know you've flip flopped a few times cmon lol. I will say I respect that he's physically tough given all the talk surrounding his build. But as for him being the future? It's unknown and that is the absolute best any of us can say all homerism aside. I think we need to bring in another QB by round 2 in the upcoming draft and let them compete in camp. If Bryce somehow changes his trajectory we will still have a young QB to develop behind him as insurance. If Bryce doesn't then we have another option to possibly give us hope. That is the only path forward in my eyes. And it is about what is best for the team.
  11. Brother nobody is coming at you for defending him it's how your positions change with the wind. If you want to feel the way you do by all means do your thing. But acting indignant toward others is absurd.
  12. I think that's a plenty fair assessment at this juncture agreed.
  13. What are you worried about anyways? You're just going to put on your Lamar Jackson jersey and play pretend regardless.
  14. I still don't understand how Evero has been supposedly going rogue all this time and Canales hasn't stepped in. If Evero is part of the problem then so is Canales for allowing it to continue.
  15. Honestly my friend I'm looking at it like those games were possibly a fugazi just like that Packers game was last season. These small sample sizes of better play aren't enough to judge. At best right now all we can say is he is up and down. And his definition of up really isn't that high not to justify a first overall pick. But his definition of down? It's really bad.
  16. Welp that's it. That's a capper on Bryce Young's day right there. We are officially back to square one after some better starts. QB is still a need folks. All there is to it.
  17. Oh I agree with you completely brother. Bryce has arguably pushed the limits today of benching territory but if i mention that an emotional adult hurries in to poo the post.
  18. Yes they have talent like any other NFL team but they are a bottom team in total defense at 26th. At some point we have to ask hard questions.
  19. Canales is similar to Bryce Young in that regard who knows which version of them is the real thing. We get these few games that are atrocious then games where we keep it close against better competition. Too up and down. This Cowboys team is not good.
  20. Can we put a hold on the word "hater" in relation to Bryce Young already? Some of you act like you're related to him it's genuinely awkward. We're getting blown out by the Cooper Rush led Cowboys and they have a lameduck head coach. Yes there have been several reasons for why we are in this position but undoubtedly the starting QB is one of them.
