  1. Not the solution I necessarily wanted but if it means getting Sam Darnold tf up out of here bring him on.
  2. But it isn't on the owner the coach the fans the city or anyone else. It's on Miles for being a dumb ass. Even before this he was drinking lean and showing off on social media like he was on top of the world. Now he is out on 130k bail. His poor decisions have tanked his value that's a lost cost already we are not getting that back. If all you're worried about is losing our investment in him it's time to step back from sports.
  3. The man nearly killed the mother of his child in front of the child. If you're this deep into sports that isn't good. This thread really went off the deep end.
  4. Maybe don't be the worst starting QB in the NFL from a clean pocket and the worst overall starter in recent years? BTW Teddy Bridgewater played behind that oline the year before and even he managed to not be the worst quarterback in the league. All Sam had to do was not be worse than that. That's just too tall of an order in your book though I guess.
  5. I used to have some fun on ultimate team before they went way overboard with the monetization of that game mode. But yeah now it's a shitshow. Still cool to see Corral on there though.
  6. Stick to the scatter brained twitter hot takes Dr. Lunker.
  7. I've tried to forget but that draft night trade just continues to linger in light of everything that has transpired since. Mitch is a damn fool.
  8. Honestly that's pathological to not only show no care or remorse but to go on about your life like nothing happened. Fug that guy.
  9. Not going to to convince any big name free agents to sign here unless we overpay big time. Even then they are not going to be inclined to choose us because of the cloud hanging over the franchise now thanks to the actions of Miles Bridges.
  10. It's a bad time for all of us man. Direct your energy where it belongs. Neither of us did this. Bridges betrayed his teammates the city the fans everyone.
  11. I would welcome him here of course but I don't believe for a second he wants anything to do with this franchise even with LaMelo.
  12. What? That's his wife. I told you just yesterday this would be very bad. Miles is now in the history of Charlotte sports next to Rae Carruth. This man had everything and threw it away. No sense even speaking on him anymore.
  13. Well we for sure know this woman and her story now and it's as bad as the bail amount indicated. Terrible for the kid to be involved and have to see it. Miles should be done playing ball.
  14. I still can't believe they tried to sell shirts with that on it. They tried so hard to market Sam to the fanbase the same as they did Teddy and both attempts ended in spectacular failure. It's almost fascinating.
  15. What is dumb and unreasonable is getting yourself into this situation in the first place with everything that is at stake. Nobody is forcing anything or saying not to comment on Bridges contract. But in terms of the veracity of the allegations of the victim in general in situations such as this no one is going to get 130k bail for a minor altercation. If they set bail that high that leads to believe there is specific physical evidence and Miles initially fled.
  16. Out on 130k bail. Sounds like intent to inflict major bodily harm.
  17. And now it's time for the cage match jokes. Some our fans deserve this trainwreck
  18. He said what he is supposed to given the awkwardness of the situation. I hope DJ gets plenty of time to work with OUR quarterback Matt Corral.
  19. We are talking about felony DV. If you actually worked with him and still don't understand it obviously isn't going to click it shouldn't even require this much thought. Like I said to Mecha more info will be out and let's hope it is not as bad as it sounds for the sake of the victim and Bridges kids who also have to live through the fallout of this. This is way beyond Miles just missing out on a new contract or us losing a talented player.
  20. Do you really blame them for feeling that way given the state of the country especially relating to women's rights? Hey man more information will be out in the coming days this could get really ugly I hope for your sake you don't end up eating these words. Why don't you visit his son and tell him what you think about social justice.
  21. The Hornets are a perennial basement team and have been for years aside from some brief fun times early on and through the 90's. What's transpired in the span of only a few days is a great example of why you don't discard talent on a whim. Could be talking about two promising rookies in the top 15 of the draft right now. It's on Mitch.
