  1. Don't overthink it if for whatever reason we aren't going QB take the best playmaker and difference maker available regardless of position. We need some alpha's on this damn team.
  2. Looks like he's only done videos this week for Josh Allen Jalen Hurts and Baker Mayfield. Will he actually do one for Bryce or just skip over the carnage? But it's been oddly quiet overall after some folks couldn't wait to post any obscure statistics they could find to boost up Bryce Young's ranking amongst his peers. @Icege one of the loudest and quickest to call out people for having differing opinions on Bryce Young hasn't made a single post since the first half of the Cowboys game. Kinda hypocrital no?
  3. Slow down nobody is saying Woody Johnson isn't one of the worst owners in the NFL. But Tepper has arguably been one of if not the most impulsive and easily duped owners in a fairly short amount of time. He's seemingly finally starting to take the hint and chill maybe but make no mistake he's already been right there with Woody and it's taken him 24 years to be this bad. Worst win % in all of professional sports within 6 years of ownership for Tepper? That's quite the feat.
  4. I lol'd when I saw the thread title. Woody Johnson sounds like a real piece of work. Giving ol' Tepper a run for his money.
  5. Apparently before this there was another kid that was gifted a Brandon Miller jersey that they then tried to take back but he started crying so they let him keep it. I mean I don't even know where to begin with this. Like this barbaric mess makes even David Tepper look vaguely decent. What in the hell is going on with this organization?
  6. I'm not religious. I don't care that he is. It has no impact on whether or not he will succeed as a head coach in the NFL. If he doesn't work out here so be it. I'm not wasting keystrokes going off on tangents about his personal life. If I were that deeply invested to that point I wouldn't even be following sports at all. Clearly for whatever reason you do as the previous threads you have created eviscerating Dave Canales over that and his personal life would clearly indicate. But that's your prerogative.
  7. Last year the Commanders OL gave up 65 sacks same as us. Sam Howell who is now holding a clipboard for another team had the 12th most passing yards through all that and Ron Rivera as his head coach. Now Bryce Young has an OL that has given up 28 sacks amongst the lowest in the NFL this season and he is still 31st in passing yards. And that's considered an "improvement". The excuses are beyond stale.
  8. You and I both know there isn't a coach we could or can still hire that can "fix" Bryce Young. Even at mighty Alabama with one of the best modern coaches in college football history Mac Jones was still a better QB than Bryce Young. Mac Jones.... We already know how you feel about Canales on a personal level so in that regard you wanting him fired is not news. You don't have to disguise it behind this shroud of rabble about not fixing Bryce Young. To his credit he somehow had us competive against the Chiefs and the Eagles on the road with #9. But no coaching staff can overcome their starting QB turning the ball over 4 times. We definitely have developed some of our younger offensive pieces. And as far as Evero goes he has earned criticism and if he's fired so be it but in his defense many of us said in the offseason this defensive roster was a disaster waiting to happen given the resources we spent on the offense while neglecting the defense. That was Dan Morgan's plan. He swung too hard toward offense to salvage the Bryce Young trade. That's on him. We can scream about XL all we want but at least he's actually been on the field for the most part. The Brooks pick was a luxury pick at the time and now it is a Hurney level blunder. Dan Morgan has gotten a lot of early praise here when in reality he's unequivocally deserving of significant criticism. But if you say that some people get up in arms because he's a former Panther. Big whoop. He has just as much to prove this upcoming season as Canales. That's why to me in my own personal opinion I say one more season and then if it's more of the same say goodbye to both.
  9. Both Reich and Canales were saddled with trying to build and establish a viable scoring offense around Bryce Young. The best the offense looked this season and last season was with Andy Dalton who is also terrible but still better than Bryce Young. Which should be all anyone needs to know but still somehow there are weirdos here salivating over a ceiling of maybe on a really good day the 25th best QB in the league. We've already canned one entire staff over our first overall pick. You can fire everyone again to satisfy your need for vengeance and quickly come to the realization that your next hire will absolutely unequivocally be a downgrade yes man or you can blow up this QB room and then assess. If no progress next season then you can make changes and justifiably so.
  10. Someone needs to be fired for this. And to think. We thought this franchise was an embarrassment under Michael Jordan. Our two jabroni owners need to hire better people.
  11. There are things to be positive about going forward. I know people have been down on Canales playcalling and probably he does need to hand over the reigns to his OC and take more of a overseeing approach next season given this was all a first time head coach learning experience for him. But he has shown IMO to be the coach for the future we hoped he would all things considered. Like you said we have the OL in place we just need to add a talent infusion to the defense and probably another offensive weapon and this team should be ready to compete. The final piece is adding another young QB to duke it out with Bryce. And I just hope to hell Canales sees it the same way and is able to pinpoint the guy he wants with support from Morgan.
  12. Obviously no one has a crystal ball to predict injuries but good RB's can and have been had in the 4th and 5th rounds. At one point earlier in the season with McCaffrey out the 49ers had an at the time league leading running back who was undrafted. You simply don't have to sink a pick in the first 2 rounds to get a productive back anymore. Chuba Hubbard was a 4th round pick. He's pretty good no?
  13. It really is true that outside of the occasional dogfight rival game this division is mediocre at best on a good day. Brees and Payton gone Ryan gone Brady gone. And all we've been doing is flailing around under the Tepper's when we should have a guaranteed playoff spot against this lot.
  14. Saw this coming a mile away as an inevitability when they signed him and drafted Penix. He's washed.
  15. Reading his post history he didn't think Teddy Bridgewater was the answer either but he's dying on this hill about Bryce haters. And just for reference Teddy Bridgewater averaged 248.9 passing yards per game in 2020 which would be good for 9th in the NFL this season while folks like him are enamored over Bryce finally averaging 213 passing yards per game. He's clowning himself here.
  16. With the Tepper's involved in the decision making process I'm absolutely prepared for it.
  17. He takes the weirdest positions on roster discussions. I'd much rather have a young franchise Center for that second round pick we used than an RB who has torn his ACL in the same knee twice already at 21 years old.
  18. All I know is we cannot go into next season with no real semblance of competition for Bryce Young. That would be a huge middle finger to the fanbase after what we've already endured just the last few years.
  19. That is not impressive anymore man wake up.
  20. Trying to tell other people how to live when you don't even have the testicular fortitude not to shamelessly bandwagon. That's cute bro. Olsen is a damn good TE. He hit the lottery too with Cam. I think what Olsen accomplished is very admirable considering he had average wheels at best. He is a very sharp guy and his football IQ his attention to detail and work ethic got him the accolades he has now. Good for him. I'll always speak highly of him. Doesn't matter how he compares to GOAT's at his position.
  21. He was 2nd behind Gronk by a distance of here to the moon.
  22. The gap between Gronk and Graham is clear for anyone who watched them both play. Gronkowski played in 54 less games and had 741 more yards. They do not belong in the same convo. Graham has Brees to thank for even being within earshot of all time great TE's.
  23. Graham is overrated. Tony Gonzalez shits all over him. Even Ertz isn't far behind Jimmy.
  24. Bryce Young is not Drew Brees. If I could put that in a really big font I would because it needs emphasizing to some of you once and for all. For the record. More often than not Brees main weapon was his OL. And as much as we dislike Sean Payton his scheme was also part of that. Here's the list of receivers Brees had. Now look at the names. And ask yourself. Outside of Colston. Who made who? And even Colston is only 63rd on the all time receiving yardage list. Brandin Cooks will pass him within the next season. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/new-orleans-saints-and-wide-receiver-stats-with-drew-brees
  25. The whole justification for trading what we did to draft Bryce Young was that he was so good we would not have to surround him with elite talent across the offense. If we have to do that for him to even be slightly average then guess what? We need competition at QB.
