  1. Once in a lifetime? That may be going a little far. Especially firsts that we do not know will be late or mid but there's a very slim chance they would be top ten. Burns will be just getting ready to turn 25 around the time of the draft he will still have value. I'm frustrated with the way this has all gone too but there's no need to be looking over a ledge right now. Only the delusional optimists who also thought Sam Darnold would just suddenly become a franchise QB here or that PJ Walker was a starting QB are shocked by all this. If we get a top 3 pick or even the top pick I'll feel better. But I still don't have a great deal of faith in our GM overall we are basically in the position of asking ourselves how much of the good/bad was him versus Rhule. We just don't know. Plus Dave Tepper is still our owner and he's still going to meddle regardless. For the moment that's why I'm not losing too much sleep over those firsts for now.
  2. Luck was a hype machine. Cam was not even the consensus best QB in his class let alone the best player. Burrow is who we should have lost out for instead of a stupid win streak with Kyle Allen. But with Mahomes and Josh Allen how many people here were desperate for us to draft them? How many analysts had them pegged as future elite quarterbacks in the making? We can't make definitive statements nobody knows. You take your shot when the time comes it's all we've got now.
  3. Instant gratification in the sense that knowing we have those picks would still make some people feel better right now about getting destroyed by the Bengals on Sunday. Clearly judging by this thread it's a pretty easy assumption.
  4. There is a possibility with Corral but it's very unlikely. I'll still support him through his rehab though because at the end of the day he is a Panther. Plus in the event he looks promising we can flip him if need be. But all the struggles with Rhule aside he looked truly bad in preseason there's no way around it. We'll see I would love to see him prove people wrong and I would gladly eat crow.
  5. While you're guaranteeing this let me know the winning PowerBall numbers too while you're at it. I think some of you are just being emotional and reactive instead of looking at all the angles. No Burns value is not going anywhere and no two people are likely to agree on just how good he is or isn't. If we had traded him I would have accepted it same as any other player I'm not one of these McCaffrey fanatics that will quit the whole team because their favorite player left not even Cam Newton could make me care about or want to remotely follow the Patriots. There are still possible moves to be made in 2023 and especially if we somehow manage to get the first overall pick. Some of you are just hung up on the sting of losing. You'll feel a little better when the season officially concludes for us. In the meantime just laugh at the absurdity of it all.
  6. Burns can still be traded next year people are just mad because they aren't getting instant gratification since the season is a misery factory. New season same problems
  7. Last week we lost last I checked. But not all of this is Henderson's fault. There are things going on that make it difficult to adequately assess players in certain position groups given these circumstances. But one thing we can and should be able to say for sure is this eagerness to trade with the Jets and the Jaguars needs to go for good.
  8. We talk a lot of poo about Tepper but Jim Irsay is legitimately a lunatic.
  9. Well hot damn. Looks like we're gonna need another banner to go with that longest air yards pass of the season from the ATL loss.
  10. And sustained in a loss to the Jets? That's gotta sting. Sympathies go out to all the new lifelong diehard Bills fans in the Carolinas that have popped up out of nowhere in the last two years
  11. There was no magic fix to save this season with Wilks or anyone else who could have been the interim. Rhule and Fitterer are both to blame for this mess and truthfully Scott should be shown the door too there are no free passes just because he accepted a position where he didn't have final say at all times. Start with a clean slate in 2023.
  12. If it gets us the top pick whatever. Just never want to see this QB room again. All should be gone in 2023.
  13. Outside of maaaaybe Campen this staff is gone and it was always going to be that way.
  14. If anyone actually believed PJ Walker was going to be the answer they had either been living under a rock the last two years or they don’t know football. Wilks is what he is. An interim coach in over his head after inheriting a mess from one of the former highest paid coaches (lol) in the NFL.
  15. Waiting is all we've got now get used to it. New coach new GM new QB clean house.
  16. Not right after winning a championship and the team is struggling no but the league is different now it's all about results today.
  17. So Burns sucks but a team was willing to give up 2 firsts and supposedly a 2nd for him? Some of ya'll just need to take a break from the losing if it's getting to you this bad.
  18. The Rams clearly wanted him bad and thought we would roll over. If they were offering that pick in next years draft that changes things. Just doesn't make sense it wouldn’t have been mentioned especially the way information moves so quickly now with social media.
  19. The sudden report about an inclusion of a 2nd round pick next year sounds like an attempt to save face. Why only hear about it a week later? Strange.
  20. Debatable at best that Horn was the right pick. He has to make it onto the field to make an impact and as of now he isn't even the best CB from that draft that would be Patrick Surtain II.
