  1. You don't hold the development of the young players on the roster hostage because you want to let Bryce Young ride out the rest of the season at all costs. If he continues to play the way he has the next few games it should be a wrap. For the good of the team.
  2. Those people were idiots and a few of them were just bigots in hiding.
  3. Hey now. Courage is a G and saved his owners from all kinds of mess. Please don't insult a GOAT cartoon like that.
  4. Most of those ignorant people already jumped ship and are long gone now. Many of the people left here were big Cam supporters. Nobody deserves this mess created by David Tepper.
  5. 0yXePAVqtV03Q9bp.mp4 Very possible. Also going forward this could be a key example used by teams to highly discourage their top paid QB's from lowering their helmet toward a defender while carrying the football. Just slide and live for another down.
  6. Oooooo weeeeeee this is ugly. At least there's another NFL team that can share in our misery. Welcome to the club Dolphins fans.
  7. People handle things differently. I'm not going to trash him just to trash him. But as a fanbase we have to be able to navigate through these really bad times and laughter is a big help. It's good for the soul. Some of this stuff is hilarious. As far as Bryce the individual I have no hard feelings toward him he's not a bad person. But that doesn't make a difference in the reality we are living in regarding the on field product that he himself is directly contributing to the outright destruction of. Anyway none of this is going to be toning down anytime soon as there are 16 more games of this and things are likely to get worse before they get better. So I guess people should consider if they are going to just unplug from the madness or say fug it and ride along on this runaway train cackling as it careens right off a cliff.
  8. In my mind Bryce Young already made the decision for them. If you are in the Panthers front office or on staff and you value your job security you already now know that we are going QB round 1 next year no matter what. There will be an open competition whether Bryce remains on the roster or not. This aura of complacency and comfortability around the most consequential position on the roster has to change because so far all it has produced is the worst team in all of professional sports.
  9. Hire people to run the show and make major decisions on your behalf. Fully step aside beyond franchise altering decisions. But even then let the people you've hired make the call. Give them some time and rope and if they poo the bed you start over. He can't do that. He is arrogant petty and ego driven. Think back to him holding a press conference after firing Reich where he purposely mispronounced his name. First of all. You shouldn't be the one doing this you should have someone in place like I just mentioned. Second of all. Extremely childish and small minded behavior. That's a big part of the reason why ultimately Dan Morgan was just about the only one willing to take the GM job here. Ditto on Canales.
  10. "Don't let everyone that works for Tepper skate by scot-free" Well yeah we shouldn't do that but at the same time he is the one doing the hiring in every instance soo....
  11. I don't have any issue with his personality or demeanor. Also I appreciate the fact he is not just rambling off generic coach speak about all things and goes into detail on X's and O's. Positivity is fine and good but one word we should be hearing more of in relation is accountability. I'm glad Dave is willing to take the brunt of the blame for last Sunday's debacle but the players who claim to like him so much need to put forth a much much better effort this Sunday.
  12. I get the argument of this being a normal thing with a boss and a new staff hire. However this is anything but a normal situation currently. After what we know and have known about Tepper's involvement over the years I think it's more than fair to say this is either going to end up going pretty good or it's going to be another shitshow. Just calling it like i see it.
  13. Jamarcus with the higher passer rating more passing TD's and less interceptions. Woooooooooof.
  14. All of this seemed so easy to spot though. Like if you go back and rewatch Bryce Young and CJ Stroud in college their prodays and the combine you will be like wow I can see why Stroud is having success. He was absolutely throwing lasers and he didn't have to put his whole body into it to launch the ball downfield either. This whole debacle has been how to get yourself fired and torpedo your sports franchise for dummies.
  15. The Panthers social media team is either bafflingly aloof or just trolling the fanbase at this point. No reason to leave the comments on for that one. Have some awareness.
  16. He was doing the jump throw in shorts in camp when the first camp confidential video was released. When this was pointed out some folks tried to run others off the huddle in response.
  17. Rhule was trash. He was a fraud and a terrible leader for the team. Also an egomanic control freak. In that respect Wilks was aces. But on the field he was a rerun of Ron Rivera. And in that respect John Fox too. In their day here on the whole those men were good enough coaches when they had cornerstone players on the roster. But those days are gone. It is a different league. Reich looked terrible and got fired quick but with additional information known to us now like seeing the fact that our #1 overall pick is definitively looking like a coach killer changes things to a degree. In time we will get a better understanding of things that went down with that. It definitely isn't as cut and dry as previously thought.
  18. I look back to how quickly we moved on from Matt Corral. I know Matt had other personal things he was dealing with as well but strictly talking about his on the field play it is fair to say Bryce Young the first overall pick has looked as bad or worse than Matt Corral on the whole. One game against the Packers doesn't change anything.
  19. That one soured me. If your whole identity is going to revolve around being a hard nosed players coach you can't have your players out there looking like they can't be bothered to defend their home turf against a mediocre Steelers team in the middle of a rebuild. We also had 21 rushing yards for the whole game. The old school ground and pound philosophy can still work from time to time but coaches with staying power adapt to the league around them. Passing is the bread and butter.
  20. When the "baby goat" stuff started I had a feeling it wasn't meant to be.
