  1. If someone is going to quit being a Panthers fan over Sean Payton it's rather melodramatic but I guess do you. It probably isn't even going to happen. But if I were going to throw in the towel it wouldn't be over this. Been through plenty worse as a Panthers fan this is nothing.
  2. If we trade assets for Sean Payton I'd put the odds of Darnold being the starter for 2023 at about 1%
  3. Other reasons like what? That I don't like the Cowboys or the Niners? Spoiler alert: I don't! The NFC playoffs are all teams that have already won a Super Bowl and one of them will be representing the NFC so if you don't like that maybe don't watch
  4. Giants last one was over a decade ago and the Eagles have one win compared to the Niners and Cowboys who have ten combined Super Bowl trophies. Some of ya'll will create an argument over anything lol.
  5. Wouldn't hurt my feeling at all to see the Eagles or Giants go far. Just knock off the 49ers. Tired of those franchises making the big game.
  6. Interim coaches in general by and large have not been successful when given the permanent role I think there are one or two exceptions.
  7. Yeah but you have to make an attempt to slow them down. To not only keep allowing it to happen but also electing not to go for it on fourth and short all with the playoffs on the line and knowing you need to get in to strengthen your chances to become the permanent head coach. Just not a good look. And people are giving him props for going 6-6 like that's all we're shooting for here. Simply being better than Rhule is not the bar for our next head coach.
  8. So why did the coach whose speciality is defense make zero attempts at adjusting to Mike Evans eating our defense up with the same play?
  9. Yeah sad state of affairs. Remember when we complained about how bad Cho was? From one trainwreck to another.
  10. Also Mitch Kupchak stinks. What we are seeing is why the Lakers pushed his ass out the door.
  11. If this needs to happen for anyone it's Gordon Hayward.
  12. That SB he "won" the Broncos barely even showed up. That game was lost from the first snap. If we got that Broncos team in 50 we would have wiped the field with them too. One of the most lopsided championships in history. Seattle had a horseshoe up their ass until that untimely interception against New England.
  13. Just take one of the top TE's so we can send Ian Thomas on his way. Unfortunately those extra picks are going to be late in each round. But it will have to do.
  14. It's wild how within a week sports takes can go from "this guy is a quitter for not blowing out his knee for my entertainment" to "nepotism never hurt anybody". American values
  15. The timing is definitely interesting. This is retaliation. But still after the used car salesman fiasco you would think Tepper would be looking to avoid giving the league any reason to check up on him. He also had to know that same fiasco angered many of the other owners. So good reason not to give them an in. Yet here we are. Just hire a damn coach already before this turns into a shitshow.
  16. Alright pal you've had too much to drink. Hand over the keys
  17. With that logic we could have given Matt Rhule another year too. If someone is content with what we've been doing more power to them I guess. No need to knock someone for looking in another direction though. By all accounts the team seems to agree.
  18. I don't get the Dorsey hype at all. I'd honestly hire Wilks before him.
  19. I know Johnson decided to stay in Detroit but who all has declined? And if we are highlighting this as a reasoning why Wilks should be the guy why would we not also assess why no one else has requested to interview him for their coaching vacancy?
