I got no beef at all with Sam the person. Said that many times. It's the looney tunes here who anoint him to a level he clearly is nowhere near. He had the one gaffe on that podcast which was pretty foolish and rather tone deaf to say when considering how many chances he's gotten. But overall he's kept his head down and he definitely hasn't gone on social media trying to clap back at Panthers fans like we owe him something. All that being said we can find a better QB to fit the bill for what we would be asking of him in 2022.
-
The receivers and backs were fine when Sam was riding high behind a potent running game. When he actually has to win with his arm and he looks bad like always suddenly we have no talent. These folks are delusional and clearly the kind of fans who were rabid Kyle Allen groupies. You can't reason with someone who considers the final game against New Orleans a real game winning drive. They don’t care about actually winning big games or being in the playoffs they just want a QB who fits into their box. Well I cannot fuging wait until the draft when Fitterer and Reich swing for the fences.

He had 43 passing yards and 2 picks. No way in hell you or that other guy would be celebrating that if PJ Walker was the QB.
-
Oh wow you're counting that and taking a victory lap? Why don't you check those notes and read us back his stat line. How does a 25 year old in the prime of his life get outplayed by Andy Dalton? Andy Dalton!

Hey Mr. Nuance. Darnold has not had a game winning drive in five years and he's gotten more chances than some other QB's have. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
-
My guy you followed Sam Darnold to a new team take a seat. We've been watching abysmal QB play for years we know it when we see it if you don't like it the door is always unlocked you don't need to say anything you can just go.
-
You're a Carr believer eh? That's nice.
-
Fitterer can't afford another losing season due to picking the wrong QB and neither can Reich. Unless Sam Darnold accepts a very bare league minimum contract his days should be numbered here. Would you risk your job and second chance that doesn't often happen on a QB who finished the season with the worst passer rating in franchise history?
-
I can't fathom how anyone could look at the Reich hire and what transpired in Indianapolis and come away thinking "yeah Sam Darnold is definitely going to be here this season".
-
Shocking development.
-
Hopefully the Saints are stupid enough to trade for him.

I would thoroughly enjoy every minute of it if this is true but Terry Bradshaw is legitimately insane so you can't really believe it.

Idk we might have won a few more games with Borrego but he wouldn't be much different from Clifford. He would be taking the hardline calling the players out about not playing defense but Mark Williams would still be on the bench while Plumlee plays all the minutes. Moving on from JB isn't the problem it's what's transpired since. Which is the story of the MJ era Hornets in a nutshell.

"Well you see if you remove three of the most important games of the season which were losses and ended our postseason hopes things actually weren't that bad."
-
I'm prepared for us to make a run at him I guess.

Love Wilks can't stand the 49ers but happy he got himself a new gig.
-
Hopefully you're right but Raiders are gonna Raider

Endless restructures on iffy contacts is what Marty Hurney did for years that led us to the "cap hell" so many here complained about for so long. Weird that's gone out the window again. But alright

People are still buying that hype? And zero percent chance all they ask for is a mid rounder.
-
Meh he knows he wanted to leave and go to a contending team and he has a connection to Philly. He was vocal about his aggravation with the team at times on Twitter that season too. He's in a better situation which is what he wanted. Enjoy the moment it might not come around again take it from us.
-
Obviously referring to if we get antsy and try to trade for him. I'm hopeful Fitterer has learned his lesson. He knows this is his last chance to get QB right. Can't do anything foolish though. This would fall under that.
-
He said he won't take a paycut. He's been averaging about 13 million per season on his current deal. So 26 million minimum. Yeah that has a bit of a Hurney vibe to it sorry if you guys don't want to hear it but I thought we were done building our team overinvesting in linebackers and running backs.
