Sign him. I'd still like us to go after one more via trade if possible. If not draft one in the 2nd.

Now I like the signing even more.

This signing makes me feel much better. Curious to see where Foreman ends up. Now get on the phone about Hopkins

Foreman or Miles Sanders. -

We're relegated to considering Brandin Cooks? I remember the Rams losing the Super Bowl to the Patriots because of his drops. Sad state of affairs.

Panthers to host former Vikings WR Adam Thielen

I'm still waiting on those details for the Shaq Thompson restructure. If we hit on our QB and nail the draft while giving our offense some much needed infusion of talent I'll give Fitterer a good bit of leeway but so far much of what he's doing as far as the salary cap goes really isn't all that different from Hurney or Gettleman. Some of the apologists won't want to hear mention of that but it's true. -
If we can't get OBJ trade for Hopkins. Patriots are also looking at wide receivers so can't waste too much more time.

21 million for Hurst?

Pretty funny but who knows he could do alright there or suck altogether. Wouldn't shock me either way.

Former Panthers QB: “No doubt in my mind” they pick Bryce Young

Looks like he holds more CFL than NFL records -

Yeah but Flutie was drafted almost 40 years ago. Drew Brees is one of the more rare QB's to do what he did though many Panthers fans have criticized him for being a stat padder. Beyond that you have Russell Wilson who fell all the way off recently and Kyler who the Cardinals currently have a love/hate relationship with. I like Steph he's rare. Though he's kinda becoming a bit arrogant as of late and I have no love for a modern dynasty given I'm a tortured Hornets and former Bobcats fan. But yes comparing him to Young is off the wall and I have to think if Bryce didn't play for Alabama things like that wouldn't be said. -

I was fine with us taking a swing on Corral but Matt Rhule was a complete buffoon so he was doomed from jump street unfortunately. Stroud is 1a Young is 1b and Richardson is the wildcard for me. Praising Young is one thing but linking him to future hall of famers in a completely different sport on top of the constant comparisons I've seen to Drew Brees and Doug Flutie is where you can see bias sneaking into the discussion. I'm not putting too much pressure on any of these guys if we draft them this season is going to be a pleasant surprise if we make the playoffs but I'm tempering expectations. -

Uneducated takes eh? You aren't exactly offering Stephen Hawking level insight yourself here let's not get carried away insulting each other. I am a Corral skeptic I think he's basically done here barring something magical but I can't say his career is done not by a longshot. And I think you are being premature at best to label him injury prone. In college he had 2 grade 1 ankle sprains and a bruised rib. If we are calling that injury prone then Bryce Young already having nursed a shoulder injury at Alabama is something to consider. Or maybe you are not able to see past your own bias on the matter -

Yeah I'm not worried about that with Stroud or Young any of these QB's could bust we could argue all day long about the level of competition they faced. There are other QB's who have feasted on lesser teams who have gone on to do big things in the NFL and there are QB's who have beaten great college teams and went on to become busts. It's a crapshoot like the saying goes. Richardson is a huge gamble for whichever team takes him but if he is committed to working on his game I could see him doing some Lamar Jackson like things. -

I'm with you on pretty much everything here. But keep in mind that knock on Stroud relating to pressure will apply to any rookie we draft. I've been trying to tell folks to be cautiously optimistic about our oline. It remains a work in progress and depth is still a concern. -
Well we're trying. He could be solid for us I'll take it.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to be cautious about hinging the hopes of your franchise and someone who will be touching the football more than anyone else when his most favorable comps are Wilson and Murray. But alas Stroud Richardson and yes Young are the only options in my eyes. Levis is Darnold. Do not want. -

I like you but you are letting your fandom get the best of you with this Bryce Young infatuation. Now I know why you are so mad about the pro Stroud threads and wanting us to draft Levis for the laughs. Damn ya'll are taking dickriding to an extreme.
