  1. I'm fine with either of the top two but I find it very hard to believe they are all in on their pick this early. And the NFL does not like the pick being tipped so this belief the front office is leaving a trail of breadcrumbs because they're bored is amusing. Some folks in the media are being manipulated.
  2. Well we know how this ends. But if it makes him happy do your thing Cam it's all love. Plus the sight of him just existing ruffles the feathers of some here endlessly. I'll kick back and enjoy the entertainment.
  3. They know exactly what to say and if they are saying certain things it's for a reason. This is all gamesmanship. We aren't going to know who the true pick is from a press conference. We can argue over which QB is preferable but there's no point going at each other over these comments. Anyone that has followed the draft before should be familiar with it by now.
  4. Well he was also there when the OL went to dogshit around that same QB that led to him leaving town so hopefully learned a lesson if Bryce becomes the #1 pick.
  5. Idk if anything they are similar weight. Young clearly has much more talent than him but both are going to be susceptible to injuries that could affect their career length if they don't add some weight. Not sure why this is a controversial notion but ohwell.
  6. It's structured to benefit us I'm not too worried about it. But we need to hit on another WR in the draft. If it's me I still take one in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  7. 25 million is a good chunk of change. Everyone and their momma knew we were desperate. That's the downside to trading away your best wideout.
  8. I'm just ribbing you a bit man it's fine to be wrong 🫶
  9. Solid signing all things considered. He brings much needed leadership. I think he'll do big things for us especially in the red zone too. I still want us to make a run at another WR though.
  10. Well Thielen is a Panther. So much for those inside sources I guess.
  11. One part of me says no way the other says we just shipped off a 25 year old WR who was our most productive in years. I see us beginning to go down the path of overinvesting in defense again. There's still time though. We'll just have to see what Fitterer and Reich have planned.
  12. TMJ has plenty of untapped potential but anyone expecting instant 1k+ yards out of him should temper that some. It's on Fitterer he knew when he made the move what has to be done and the short term risks. We need to hit on a solid WR in the draft regardless.
  13. He's living his life and not stressing about football. I don't blame him. But I don't think the retirement ceremony is too far off. It will be a glorious day when he is inducted into the Panthers hall of honor.
  14. There's going "overboard" and then there is acting like one of those crazy little league parents. The difference between myself and most who would accept either or and the pro Bryce extremists is we don't really have a performance knock on either QB except smaller things to nitpick. But one is what many consider to be undersized and the other isn't. For the past week plus I've seen negative hilarity inducing takes about Stroud to prop up Bryce Young. It just isn't necessary. I've seen the tape for both prospects. They both have the intangibles. And NFL tackles for mobile QB's are a different animal altogether from college football. Ask Sam Darnold about that
  15. Why do people keep making this comp and saying this like Cam Newton is unable to move around on his own power or something? In 2021 he was still rushing as good or better as any young QB and that's after years of designed runs. His frame held up after years of abuse. The throwing shoulder was destroyed in the pocket.
  16. They're both a risk. Drafting any QB first overall is. Nobody is telling you to quit posting altogether but there's also no need to pretend like you aren't completely enamored with him to the point you've lost all objectivity on the matter. Good talk
  17. That analysis is for an entire roster across all position groups it was never meant to be a tool for folks to justify drafting a 195 pound quarterback.
  18. You can post that link a hundred more times it won't make a difference in what will happen if a 300 pound defensive lineman lands on Bryce Young. Just a heads up. You extreme Young guys are making it so even the regular folks in favor of him are looking at you like you're wacked out of your mind. Take a breather for a bit.
  19. Need offensive help this draft. We are still pulling a lot of resources toward the defense same as years passed and we have Burns new contract extension around the corner. I expect to see WR OL and another TE.
  20. No doubt. Just the one downside. ... ... ... ... Ahh fug it I guess let's see what happens.
