  1. Sounds like when you're "in" Charlotte. Anyways it's plain as day our QB coach loves this kid. He isn't making the decision but obviously that will factor heavily into the final pick. Anyways I'm eager to see how Bryce Young does. Aside from all this arguing and speculation these are fun times.
  2. Some of these Young fans really have that Sam Darnold fan energy.
  3. Stroud has the bigger frame and he can bulk a little more even if need be. We don't have to agree it's cool man. The extreme pro Young folks here act like his parents about his one big concern. I don't get it but that's okay to each his own
  4. I'll accept either but let's be real he's like 195.
  5. Find yourself someone who looks at you the way Josh McCown does CJ Stroud.
  6. I think you should put the reverse jinx on and bang the table for Young so that way we will for sure draft Stroud.
  7. For the love of... Michael Jordan comp and a Steph Curry comp within one post!? Not even the pro Stroud or AR supporters are going this far.
  8. Good stuff. Stroud/Young or Richardson I'll accept and hope for the future with any of those QB's as the pick.
  9. Well at least he isn't Drew Brees. All you guys that have been spamming his name the last few weeks to boost the case for your favorite prospect should be ashamed of yourselves.
  10. Kind of you to sacrifice yourself to unite the two separate camps here.
  11. I mean I can appreciate the effort but what we are even doing here taking out a key aspect of the evaluation process and ultimately the final decision? If you're taking size out of the equation for one prospect why stop there why not take something out to favor others as well? With that logic we could possibly talk ourselves into Richardson and maybe even Levis. Let's just agree we all wish it were late April already.
  12. I just don't think it's that serious. He's not going to be a starter again. Might as well let the man have a little fun with it. I actually feel kind of bad for him it's gotta be a tough situation. But I'm glad his brother is offering support that's what family is supposed to do.
  13. They both have a point. Hopefully Cam finds a team willing to give him a chance. But if not hopefully he finds some inner peace and moves onto the next phase of his life. He has nothing to be ashamed of either way.
  14. I don't want you to take this the wrong way. But you're kinda getting into Rippadon's "golden Corral let's eat" territory with this gag.
  15. Oh the Texans are definitely playing the game too. As someone else pointed out the timing of our trade after the combine is difficult to ignore. Can't say one way or another but I'm sure they are eager to see the pro days and get the interview process going. Until then I will regard most of this talk of one prospect a near certainty as just noise. Fitterer already told us in the interview they are just now diving into everything. Things can change within the next 3 weeks.
  16. Couldn't that apply to us as well? Nothing we are saying in front of the cameras is accidental or coincidence.
  17. Stroud but would accept Young. Both could end up being great. But likely one will be more than the other. Tough call. But for me I'd say go with the better passer in what is now a passing league heavily dependent on the position.
  18. BB can often be that way but I'm not sure what his intentions are I have not seen him say anything personally derogatory like that one guy did. Obviously that I don't agree with. Though to play devils advocate we here on the huddle have been known to habitually eviscerate the likes of David Newton and Joe Person so it's not like this is uncommon on the whole. Scheft and Rap do get things wrong from time to time we've been critical of them too
  19. The conundrum is if we take Young and Stroud looks like a stud for Houston. Of course the same applies vice versa. As for this talk of OSU QB's not panning out the same has often been said for Bama QB's until recently so before anyone falls back on that one just food for thought. Both could end up being very good who knows.
  20. For sure some do have legit sources but they are fewer and far between and information can be unreliable and also circumstances can change. To my recollection the final chapter of the Deshaun Watson to Carolina saga left several folks with claims of sources in our local market with egg on their faces. After that I take most of these claims with a dose of skepticism. That's just the state of sports "journalism".
