I absolutely get the skepticism and the frustration from that surrounding the concerns about our likely pick at 1. But I still feel optimistic and I'm happy we are actually trying to develop our own guy rather than bringing in another retread. That being said I really hope our OL is as advertised and holds up through the season. I also want to see the addition of another offensive weapon or two from this draft. I know we are still a foundationally defensive team but if our rookie QB is to thrive give him as much chance as possible and don't make the same mistakes as the last few regimes when we had a franchise QB.

I like Byrd he's decent depth and he's a good guy. But man the majority of this receiving core has struggled with the injury bug a good bit. Definitely want to see another added in the draft.

Ironic that is lost on him as he generalizes an entire region as being intellectually inferior. What a dick.

This is a good example of why even folks who are warming up to BY as the pick are giving odd looks to the most ardent supporters of him as the pick. The lengths to which they are going to attempt to eliminate his one very real concern are at times simply hilarious.

The Levis stuff was last year well before draft season officially got underway. Daniel Jeremiah also had Sam Darnold as his #1 QB in 2018. Let's not go overboard putting stock into these "analysts" opinions. At this point with the way people are speaking about CJ Stroud's IQ it will be a miracle if he can even find his way to the draft on Thursday amirite? Some of ya'll here really need that kid to be awful. You better hope he is. All I care about is if our staff is fully sold on Bryce Young and since that's the case then let's get to it.

Back in March Schefter tweeted that David Tepper loves Bryce Young. Then you see the photos of Mrs. Tepper it's clear they had their preference all along. Is Tep directing them who to pick? No. But when you have two prospects who are close and it comes down to which one to pick it helps that your boss who pays your salary loves that one. I'll trust they are making the right pick there isn't anything else to do. But I will say the folks who are posting these copium quips remind me of when the huddle was rationalizing the Kyle Allen hype machine and trying to convince themselves Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold just need more time. Maybe let's just allow BY to get on the field and show us something 🫡

Bryce Young needs to be very very good and CJ Stroud needs to be mediocre at best or this is going to get ugly by the end of the year. I hope BY is a baller.

Young's frame is there for anyone to see. CJ's intelligence being questioned is based on nothing that can currently be substantiated.

ripp it isn't our job on the line. If these folks are wrong they're getting sent packing and we're still here. There isn't anything we can do about it but hope for the best.

What in the hell is going on in here? Despite whatever concerns I may have if rippadonn is this extremely against the pick he's probably going to be very good.

We're still doing this? He was the only MVP in franchise history. He came in and changed the culture of the team. Guys used to just be happy with their contracts and go home. Cam despised losing to his core. We needed that. Hopefully whomever we draft we are getting some of that again.

Doesn't matter who we want if the pick is already spoken for. It will be entertaining to follow both their careers though. You can't leave out Richardson too.

But are they QB's who touch the ball more than any other player on the field? Look I like Bryce Young as a person very much he's a great kid. But the hopium is going overboard in some aspects here. I hope he balls out and he's an MVP and all the other things. But he's rare for the position and it's okay to talk about that.

I like Chark but he's been battling the injury bug as of late and signed a one year deal. I want another promising rookie WR. And hopefully by the midway point of the season we're talking about how nice of a weapon Terrace Marshall JR is.
