  1. Tepper is worth 18.5 billion I'm sure he can figure out how to keep real grass and still keep the lights on.
  2. For myself unless there's new information I don't see the need to continue to rehash it. But whether I like it or want to see it the inevitability is it is not going anywhere. Part of that is the seriousness of the charges to the individuals he associated with and the other part of that is the number of Hornets and now former Hornets players arrested the last year or so. Big picture this is just how it's going to go until Brandon Miller shifts the talk to winning basketball games. The owner and our GM/Staff knew what they were getting into when they did their research on this draft. They knew this would all be a distraction at least in the short term. Hopefully with Summer League coming up we'll get back to more actual basketball talk if the Hornets look promising like we hope.
  3. Honestly you're becoming a nuisance here maybe take the hint. Poo all the posts you want. Truth is truth.
  4. Far as I can tell there are very few people in this subsection overall let alone folks willing to share any insight from sources. Maybe focus your energy on other things and don't be a class A dick.
  5. This isn’t a great roster yet but there is really no reason this cannot be a playoff roster. Once Jordan is officially gone the new decision makers need to move on from both dinosaurs Clifford and Kupchak and begin anew.
  6. I will say I just read a piece by Scott Fowler who does not like the Miller pick. He also didn't like the LaMelo pick and got dragged for it. Possibly a good sign
  7. So zero leadership and we may end up with Brandon Miller spending a lot of time with Miles Bridges of all people. Discussion of talent aside this could be a dicey mixture. Speaking of Bouknight he should be a cautionary tale to folks having early celebrations. Let's see this group come together on the court and keep things relatively clean off it.
  8. Look I can get on board with the pick but some of the logic being employed here to justify him bringing someone a gun in the middle of the night is beyond sports fandom and delusional. He fuged up. Really bad. I hope he proves the doubters wrong. But this pick is a BIG risk and downplaying his actions only makes you look foolish. Let him own up to his mistakes. The last thing he needs is to run away from it or have people making these awkward ass excuses for him.
  9. Give Clifford a thanks for everything and his walking papers. Get absolutely anything you can for Gordon Hayward get that bum and his entitled brat wife tf up out of here.
  10. What are you looking for specifically? You want them to wear an oversized plain suit like LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony 20 years ago? Times change
  11. Hoping for the best but prepared for more of the same as a Charlotte sports fan. But I'm going to at the very least give Miller an opportunity to show me something and dispel the early judgements on him.
  12. Now that the pick is official. What in the poo was that cringy mess from San Antonio?
  13. There's a lot to like about the pick but fugin A with this dude getting asked about a murder left and right and Miles Bridges possibly returning what a clown show.
  14. Zion in CHA will end the same way as Hayward and Batum.
  15. I like his confidence. One thing this says to me that others might overlook is it confirms the reason for the lack of development over the years from our young players under Jordan. Instead of viewing these young players on HIS franchise as investments from the viewpoint of an executive with unparalleled wisdom that he can take under his wing in any way or form he views them from the perspective of a competitor as someone to either bend to his will or embarrass. He's operating a franchise as the same guy he was in the 90's. Scottie Pippen is right about some things he's said about Jordan.
  16. I guess if the person isn't your sister or loved one it's easy to just not have to talk about it. But this isn't some average Joe he's about to be set for life if he manages his money correctly. I don't see why it should bother you or anyone else to see it discussed. But okay
  17. At this point neither of us can say there was or wasn't. We weren't there we don't know what goes on in this young mans head. If there explicitly wasn't he wouldn't be giving a canned disclaimer to teams and anyone else who asks about it. There's nothing wrong with talking about any of this as an issue moving forward because for the time being it is not going away. If we don't agree that's fine.
  18. Talent wise there are parallels to the Young Stroud debate but full picture neither of them had a murder looming in the background. So it's weird how quick some folks are to dismiss that. But then again we had the same kind of instant reaction from some folks here to Miles Bridges beating on the mother of his kids so this is an ugly layer of sports.
