You guys remind me of Sam Darnold stans. That's not a good thing.

Anti intellectual would be propping up one set of data that fits the narrative while ignoring clear data that shows he's the lowest ranked quarterback in the league and has the 3rd lowest YPA of any QB ever in their first two starts. Nothing is set in stone but it's going horrifically so far. That's the rub.

It's wild we've only made it through 8 quarters of football and the pre-draft concerns so many folks wanted to dismiss are front and center as the elephant in the room. Just because folks have years of football knowledge doesn't mean they'll get the call right. There's plenty of time left but it's starting out about as worse as it possibly could.

After only 2 games? Say it isn't so.

Fighting at BOA…. A fan just died at Foxboro

Oh for sure in Europe and even South America they'll kill ya over Soccer. There was a referee I read about some years back who players returned after the game because of a call they didn't like and beheaded him. Left his severed head on a pike. Insanity. -

Drunken fisticuffs over sports is about as dumb as it gets in this country. -
I think it should be pretty obvious to anyone there are layers to the offensive problems and the receiving core assembled by Scott Fitterer is largely a dud. But Bryce got rattled last night and was making some errant throws. He isn't going to get much breathing room on a short week that ends with a visit to the Seahawks. The game film from the Saints is going to be the blueprint he's going to have to adjust and make more downfield attempts even if it results in some turnovers in the meantime.

Nobody in the division gives a poo about showboating in 2015. Most of those players are gone. The Saints Falcons and Bucs are all new look. Besides the entire league and now social media is all about boasting and rubbing other teams players and fans noses in it. Welcome to 2023.

CJ always had the arm talent. It was his intelligence and character that were unjustly attacked ala Cam Newton. It's still early we'll see. But man if we end up with the wrong QB from this draft... That stink isn't ever washing off. The offensive coaching staff and players have a long week ahead of them.

I agree there are multiple factors at play as to why our offense is so bad overall the roster that Fitterer has built and the coaching staff are not helping matters. But you are downplaying the level of not good Bryce Young has been. That's your prerogative but I am in complete disagreement. He's not some mid rounder like Corral or Howell. We are in worst case scenario waters and it's only week 2. He's got to turn things around in some way soon.

And heading into this season Reich was one of the leading coaches who used the QB sneak almost to a fault on his part. Either he is a complete idiot or he didn't have full say on the pick. The more we dig into this season the more I get the sense all this stuff about our all star coaching staff and front office making the pick as a collaborative effort was smoke and mirrors. It really does look like Mr. and Mrs. Tepper made the call.

You think his play has been good? More power to you I guess.

Give me a reason to be excited about the future of this team

Some great replies around here wish I wasn't out of pie. Tepper is ultimately the problem. -
But Drew Brees but Doug Flutie

I don't really care about the lining up behind the RG moment in the grand scheme of things with all that's going on. But people really should have pumped the brakes on all the hype about how unique he was in his preparation and knowledge of the game like he had the brain of a veteran Peyton Manning heading into the season. The hype was created by some of the very people trying to move the goal posts and now sell this story about how he's an overmatched rookie. Also the same people basically told us CJ Stroud had a brick for a brain. This is what some of us were trying to tell you back before and immediately following the draft about what would happen if we select him and the uphill climb he faced even with his so called "elite" processing ability. Now everything has changed. Go figure.
