  1. If go root for the Texans is all you've got you're standing in front of a tidal wave. If you can't handle the heat that these two will be talked about you might as well hide under a rock it's going to remain until one of them is no longer playing. We're over here looking at basic throws when our team is being blown out and trying to convince ourselves it's progress. When you pass up on the best arm in the class this is what happens.
  2. My guy I'm going nowhere I'm just speaking my mind. It was a layup pick. This will be talked about for years these two guys careers will always be connected as long as they are both in the league. I still don't get why you jumped ship but you do you.
  3. The reasoning for the signing was to help ease the transition for our rookie. I didn't think Sanders would be this terrible. I wanted an RB in the draft. Fitterer is short sighted always looking for instant even if it hurts the cap. We should have damn well known our oline was still a work in progress. You don't shop for running backs in free agency with the slop depth we've been fielding on the oline.
  4. I'd still rather be saying this about the best QB in this years class though.
  5. In fairness these same remarks were made about Dalton. Garbage time yada yada. And we actually kept that one close. It's always how it's going to go if your team is blown out. But. I will say today our defense was ass. It's looking like some guys in the locker room might be done.
  6. There were a few things to like. Need to see it when it matters. I've heard a lot from certain folks here about garbage time stats so let's see some magic when the game is on the line or within reach.
  7. I see his team lost missed the last update. Still more impressive than anything we've done sadly.
  8. Still can't believe we passed on that layup of a pick. Arm talent was there for all to see. But MUH LEADERSHIP.
  9. Like the touchdown to Chark that's a nice throw to see. Too bad about the rest though..
  10. I agree but Wilks would have been the new Rivera. We had our chance to make a run at the Eagles OC and Mr. Tepper was too impatient.
  11. You draft that at #1 overall though. And you certainly don't trade what we did to do so.
  12. Possibly mid-season. Should be upon the conclusion of losing this game though. Starting 0-5 after all this bluster about an all star staff and after all of Fitterer’s wasteful picks and acquisitions just get it over with. We're fooling no one and it's only going to get worse. Send them packing.
  13. Dare I ask. How bad was the second pick?
  14. It's a bad signing no way around it. My preference was to draft an RB and keep Foreman. The oline changes everything though. Remove the Eagles OL put in our OL this is what he looks like. We always needed more of a bruiser.
  15. How bad was the pick? Was it at least a downfield attempt?
  16. Same one thought the Ian Thomas contract extension was wise.
  17. You can't unequivocally"make up your mind" on Bryce after 4 weeks. He doesn't have the body of work that Reich does that tells us this is just who our new head coach is. He is inept and a dinosaur. But as for Bryce we cannot ignore the concerns that are rearing their head which were known when he was playing at Alabama. If these concerns do not dissipate to some degree as the season goes on the B word is inevitably going to enter the convo as much as some people who want to shout down any dissenting opinions want to deny it.
  18. I appreciate the nuggets Cam is willing to offer. Hopefully he continues this with other prospects. I can't recall him speaking much about the other guys unless I missed it. Definitely he and Steve Smith went out on a limb for Bryce. Hopefully he proves them right we don't need anymore failures. But when it comes to draft picks anyone can be wrong even the folks who have years of knowledge. That's why GM's change around the league frequently the ones with long term staying power are rare. Some of it is just plain dumb luck at times. We'll see.
  19. Right? Sam Darnold got 3 seasons and was one year older than Bryce Young is now when the Jets told him to kick rocks. Idk where he is getting 4 years from. Bryce has this season and next to show some off some unequivocal top overall pick level play. Hopefully he does.
  20. It's sad some folks want to lower the bar for a franchise that hasn't won a division title in eight years. If you're just happy to be here more power to you. Others aren't going to jive with that mentality. This team needs an infusion of grit and we need more players who hate to lose. We might have a couple like that right now. The rest seem to just be going through the motions similar to 2010. It's a dark period. Trading up to #1 we were supposed to be getting our leader who would be a much needed addition to bring some life to this team that has been lacking after watching milquetoast bores like Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold only dig us further into lower depths. Just show us something. We are pretty much bottomed out now.
  21. Baker has the tools he's just kind a tool upstairs. Notice since he's been in Tampa he's also kept his head down and he isn't hocking tshirts with his mug on them anymore like he's arrived before he's even played. He's different and learned something apparently so hey good for him I guess. People who go on and on about supporting your guy and it's only 3 games are acting as if this franchise has acquired a lengthy list of good to great QB's over the years. Sorry that isn't so. Only two in almost 30 years would qualify. The rest are either mediocre or just poo. With that track record people are going to call it like they see it until shown otherwise. Bryce Young can silence a lot of noise. I hope he does. Until that happens if he doesn't play well it's going to be talked about. That's sports. If someone can't handle that maybe go watch golf.
