  1. That is not impressive anymore man wake up.
  2. Trying to tell other people how to live when you don't even have the testicular fortitude not to shamelessly bandwagon. That's cute bro. Olsen is a damn good TE. He hit the lottery too with Cam. I think what Olsen accomplished is very admirable considering he had average wheels at best. He is a very sharp guy and his football IQ his attention to detail and work ethic got him the accolades he has now. Good for him. I'll always speak highly of him. Doesn't matter how he compares to GOAT's at his position.
  3. He was 2nd behind Gronk by a distance of here to the moon.
  4. The gap between Gronk and Graham is clear for anyone who watched them both play. Gronkowski played in 54 less games and had 741 more yards. They do not belong in the same convo. Graham has Brees to thank for even being within earshot of all time great TE's.
  5. Graham is overrated. Tony Gonzalez shits all over him. Even Ertz isn't far behind Jimmy.
  6. Bryce Young is not Drew Brees. If I could put that in a really big font I would because it needs emphasizing to some of you once and for all. For the record. More often than not Brees main weapon was his OL. And as much as we dislike Sean Payton his scheme was also part of that. Here's the list of receivers Brees had. Now look at the names. And ask yourself. Outside of Colston. Who made who? And even Colston is only 63rd on the all time receiving yardage list. Brandin Cooks will pass him within the next season. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/new-orleans-saints-and-wide-receiver-stats-with-drew-brees
  7. The whole justification for trading what we did to draft Bryce Young was that he was so good we would not have to surround him with elite talent across the offense. If we have to do that for him to even be slightly average then guess what? We need competition at QB.
  8. I mean this respectfully. But what team have you been watching???? We are currently 29th in passing yards per game and 32 out of 32 in total yards per game. We are also 28th in points per game. This after investing 150 million in the OL in free agency trading up in the first and second rounds for offensive skill players and hiring an offensive minded head coach. All to benefit Bryce Young. We can talk about the defense all day long but whatever we do with that side of the ball it is crystal clear that the offensive side of the ball has to do much much better in what is ultimately an offensive league.
  9. Kyle Allen averaged 255.5 back in 2019 which would put him 7th in the NFL this season. I mean we've lowered the bar so much for a first overall pick it's simply laughable.
  10. Cam Newton looked like a man amongst boys even when our defense was poo in 2011. But it needs to be said that the current defense is not as bad as some people are making it out to be. They have put this offense in position to win. But even if we did have a "great" defense it would still be tough to overcome 4 turnovers. That's what this discussion has been about.
  11. Baker is mainly the same guy. He always had prerequisite talent and intangibles and had played at a highish level before but he was just a cocky asshat who got humbled harshly here. But he is still hot and cold at best and we've seen that firsthand. Darnold is a bit different he's taken a big step forward that I wasn't sure he ever would. He got humbled here too for sure. And then he got sent packing from the 49ers. Clearly something has clicked after all that. But he's also playing in a situation that has high end talent and coaching. I do not think he would have ever been that here. Anywho I'm not for looking in the rear view anymore. What's already done is done. We need to keep developing our core and bring in another young QB to develop in the offseason and build up the rest of the roster.
  12. Selfish basketball. So much for that brief glimmer of hope earlier in the season.
  13. Nissan in the 80's and 90's generally were extremely reliable vehicles. Nissan engines and transmissions for the last 20 years or so however are hit and miss at best. I would be highly skeptical of any hype but that's just me.
  14. If Cam Newton were 23 years old in this iteration of the league where the bar for franchise QB play is about as low as I've seen it in a long time he would absolutely have his way with defenses make no mistake.
  15. He did all throughout camp this year and it was so bad it actually gave us the mistaken impression our defense was formidable.
  16. Allen is more accurate we all know that was one of Cam's biggest knocks throughout his career. Although in 2018 he looked to be changing that for the better until well you know. But Josh Allen still has to get past Patrick Mahomes. Good luck with that is all I can say.
  17. We used to say this when Cam was still the starter. Needless to say we're a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng way from that. Now we have what looks like at current best case scenario a solid backup caliber QB we selected #1 overall. And still there are some people deadset against even the thought of adding a young QB to a current QB room comprised of Andy Dalton and Jack Plummer lol.
  18. Of course it is. We set these wheels in motion to put our #1 pick in the best possible situation to succeed. We knew this would get ugly when we spent 150 million on the OL in free agency and traded up for both of our first 2 picks for offense. This is like setting your house on fire and then screaming your head off that someone else did it. And somehow our offense is still largely cheeks.
  19. You consider anything that challenges your POV trolling. And the victim angle is falling on deaf ears my friend everyone sees you rage pooing posts and you've been doing that for weeks now. It's basically boy who cried wolf at this point. But keep doing your thing.
  20. We've gotten embarrassed multiple times this season. How many times does it need to happen for something to finally click? Sounds like we need to shake some things up across the roster IMO beginning with the most consequential position.
  21. The last post he made was about the Jalen Coker touchdown. After that he went radio silence. He and some others are quick to barrel in and namedrop people here only when the Panthers look decent. Some of us are here talking Panthers regardless of the results good bad or ugly but when Bryce has a bad game people like Icege just dip out. He did the same thing when Teddy was the starter. There's a word for it. Fairweather.
  22. Likely going to end up being a lesser name and at this point it does not matter all that much. Regardless people should go ahead and reconcile with the fact we're likely to see some of the same issues next season. Getting Derrick Brown back will obviously be huge but there are still many many needs for this defense and we can only do so much in a single offseason especially consider the offense is still floundering.
  23. Without even the threat of a vaguely viable passing offense there is no run game in this league. Outside of that broken coverage play for a touchdown by Jalen Coker we had less than 150 passing yards. Creating a thread to say you don't want to discuss the passer behind center that we traded up a haul to acquire but only want to talk about the run game like it's the fuging 1990's is why we can't productively discuss this offense anymore. If your passing offense is consistently not getting it done and the best you've looked all year long scoring output wise was with a 37 year old Andy Dalton you keep looking for the next QB.
  24. You don't really care yet you've got time to sit around early in the morning and poo posts about him. Sure. You keep on keeping on.
  25. No bring in some competition in the offseason and see how he performs next year with the 5th year option looming.
