  1. I appreciate your info from the game film. We agree completely about getting the ball downfield. Now. Let's dig just a bit deeper on that. Is that lack of any downfield threat from both our QB deciding where to go with the ball and our receivers being not good making the job of our oline pass blocking significantly more difficult? The run game was fine yesterday for the most part. Teams see all this on tape. Many things need to change with this team. But Bryce Young has to prove he can beat defenses with his arm and until he does they will keep playing him the same way.
  2. The Giants have been a hot mess this year and DaBoll has often looked nothing like he did last season. Barkley is usually on the injury list more often than not. I have seen now two different NFC backup QB's who went undrafted play above their circumstances for the Bears and the Giants two of the current worst teams in the entire league. Yes we have covered all the Panthers issues. Andy Dalton's one start is still our highest offensive output of the season. We still need to see our #1 pick play above his circumstances despite it all.
  3. Hey more power to you. That's all I'm doing as well. If you don't like it so be it. But I am not alone in feeling this way. Have a good one!
  4. Does this not seem inconsistent to you? For one QB you must make excuses and seek out a responsible party but for the other QB who actually performed above and beyond his circumstances you seek ways to blame him for being sacked? You guys are biased too.
  5. Well at some point you have to ask tough questions like is part of our woes fitting the offense to Bryce Young's strengths. We're forcing everything into one predictable box and it can't all be because Frank Reich is the most incompetent coach in NFL history. When you're this bad you have to assess everything and everyone.
  6. We're not going to forgive or forget David Tepper's meddling and incompetence. If Bryce can't turn things around this will be talked about for years to come. You should make peace with that.
  7. They're both poo. But you can't deny the undrafted kid produced despite the circumstances.
  8. We seem to end up back at footwork often. Some of that can be forgiven since the OL is in such a state of disarray. But some of it is also just who Bryce Young is and had been at Alabama. His pocket tendencies and habits were created out of necessity due to his limitations we knew full well about. When we get the OL in better condition he's going to have to begin succeeding in traditional from center plays. This over reliance on shotgun has to go.
  9. Don't get your hopes up folks. Tepper is going to let this drag out as long as possible because he knows he pushed them to draft the QB he wanted.
  10. Andy Dalton seemed to be able to use them fairly well enough.
  11. 15 days and 2 more brutal losses later. Still nothing from @poundaway
  12. I'm not sitting here arguing our receivers are not part of the problem. But I do not think our weapons are as bad as have been often suggested. We put up the most points of the season with this same group on the road against a likely playoff team in the Seahawks with a washed up 35 year old QB. The Giants OL is worse than ours and Tommy DeVito had 9.5 yards per attempt yesterday. Can you even fuging imagine that with the football we've seen this year? We've been lucky to finish with half that every week. Look we all agree Reich needs to go and we want to see the OL and WR addressed going forward. But Bryce Young has got to show some signs of life in these remaining games it doesn't matter what's fair that's the rub he's a first overall pick. That is what comes with the territory.
  13. He's long given up. We can bash him for it but at the end of the day I don't blame him. We picked either the wrong QB altogether or the worst of the bunch in the draft. He knows it and the rest of the team knows it. There's nothing left to play for. No pride. No semblance of culture. We're dead in the water.
  14. Most are down on Burns but I still think we end up getting good compensation out of it if he leaves. The issue is we cannot under any circumstances allow Scott Fitterer to use those picks. Also while I fully admit I have been disappointed with Brian this season people who think Burn is total trash should prepare for the likelihood wherever he goes next he lights it up. That's been the trend for former Panthers and the amount of vitriol he received only makes it more likely.
  15. They were thinking we better do what the boss and his wife says.
  16. I mean yeah but we're just comparing trash piles at this point. Both are awful but Rhule was an egomaniac that earned nothing at this level and tried to force his own crappy culture in here and push out Keep Pounding. Fug Matt Rhule.
  17. Actually we're living that currently. 32nd in total yards 31st in yards per game and 29th in points per game
  18. I don't blame anyone one iota for refusing to pay good money for this product. That's the only true way to send a message. All that being said. Jerry Richardson in comparison to the shitshow that has been the Tepper years was obviously more successful. But I don't want to go back to that either. Before Cam got here and put his stamp on the culture Jerry let the Panthers be a doormat to the NFL often to the detriment of our own franchise. Wherever we go from here just expect better than either of the two between JR and Tepper.
  19. And the Giants have one of the worst olines in recent memory. 63 sacks given up on the season. That's insane.
  20. Physical toughness is probably his best trait so far. Unfortunately the mental aspects and "elite" processing that were so often mentioned in support of him as the pick have been disappointing at best.
  21. If it were up to many people here on the huddle we would have drafted the QB who is on pace for one of the best rookie seasons ever and in MVP talks.
