  1. All we can go on are his actions. His response to Scott Fowler calling him out only solidifies what I've been saying. Anyone hoping for David Tepper to open tomorrow's press conference a changed and humbled man is going to be disappointed.
  2. There sure were quite a few people laughably wrong about CJ Stroud.
  3. I would fire every single Panthers scout and Scott Fitterer at this point. Our drafts have been ASS.
  4. We're hanging our hat on what people said before the draft now? Why not just start posting Alabama highlights too? Sure there will be people that will want the job. Doesn't mean they won't have their work cut out for them navigating Bryce's phsyical limitations.
  5. His ego has been our undoing and will continue because he can't help himself and truly thinks he can do no wrong. The fact that we have the lowest win percentage in all of sports since 2019 says it all. Yet still some people will login here and poo posts on his behalf lmao.
  6. He has absolutely no one associated with the team to speak through. He fired Reich he has to make sure it was him who announced it now he is going to hold a press conference and blovate like he has a plan out of this mess he's created. Unless he is going to say he is officially announcing he and his wife are removing themselves from the day to day operations and hiring an experienced NFL consultant to navigate this process I have no hope.
  7. Once again making himself the center of attention. Nothing is changing folks.
  8. Well I've been told there are many coaches in the NFL still high on Bryce Young so there should be a number of candidates willing to take on the job of fixing him. Sounds like wishful thinking but we'll see how it goes. But the only way any of this works if if you fire Fitterer. You can't force both a GM and a QB on a new head coach on top of having no first round pick and honestly expect it to end particularly well.
  9. Huh it's been announced Tabor is the interim. If anyone else wanted it they would have the job. Why are you even trying to argue about this? There are better topics to be a contrarian about.
  10. I agree with you about Evero. Our defense has performed better than I thought they would all things considered. I'm going to make this as clear as possible because while I admit I do partake in the occasional shitposting I do like Bryce Young just fine as a person. He's a good kid and easy to root for. But unfortunately that isn't enough to be a franchise QB. Look at Sam Darnold. One of the nicest guys anyone could meet no one with a bad word to say about him. All the physical tools too. Still not a franchise QB. My question about Bryce has nothing to do with the mental aspects I know people have piled on about the processing thanks to our idiotic decision makers putting an absurd level of hype on the kid in that area that was unrealistic from the jump. But I think that can be worked on and he can certainly clean up the footwork. The question is can he physically win at this level. If you don't want to hear it so be it but that's a question that is going to be asked frequently over the next several months. It's basically a guarantee Bryce will get the opportunity next season to showcase what he's learned and changed with a new offseason under his belt and hopefully an improved staff. But he's still going to be the same QB physically and those limitations aren't going anywhere. All we can do is hope to maximize what he does best. In the meantime down the line I think drafting a QB in 2025 still has to be under heavy consideration. That's for what's best for the team. At the end of the day that's what it's about. What's best for the team.
  11. If Tepper fires Fitterer and actually surrounds himself with football minds to navigate the process of hiring a coach and GM combo in unison and allows them to do their jobs without him or his wife inserting themselves into the middle of the day to day team operations I will feel much better about our future. But I think we'll see pigs fly before that.
  12. I assume he knows full well the odds of interim coaches succeeding in the NFL. He will get a legitimate shot sooner or later.
  13. We tried hiring a college coach and we just fired a retread. Roll the dice on an up and coming NFL coordinator like we should have done all along and be done with it. There will be options regardless of the curret volatility of the franchise. That's the only path forward.
  14. Honestly I will not be surprised at all if he's retained. He's a proper yes man for Tepper and they seem to get along quite well.
  15. If Evero won't even take the interim job after what he's seen I put the odds of Ben Johnson wanting anything to do with this trainwreck and ownership at about 5%. What has transpired here will only further cement his instincts earlier in the year when he declined us.
  16. Evero is going to be a head coach somewhere. As much as I would like to see him in the role I don't blame him one bit for declining. He's seen enough of the Tepper's to know what's up.
  17. Kunkel was actually on the money with this. Credit where it's due.
  18. Scott Fitterer should be led out into the street and tarred and feathered now.
  19. The special teams coach was the only one willing to take on the job
  20. Thank goodness it's finally over. Give Evero the reigns and see if he can do anything with this shitshow.
  21. Icky has been bad but he's shown he can be a starter in this league last year. The question you have to ask yourself is how many players looking subpar in this offense are struggling because of the scheme and the way we've constructed the offense around a short QB that has to hop and skip to make a basic throw and even then still misfires? I still find myself coming back to that game in Seattle. The best the offense has looked all year. That's just pitiful.
  22. Bummer about LaMelo but that's what I've come to expect as a Charlotte sports fan.
  23. Unless Frank Reich is going to rebuild Bryce Young from the ground up like The Six Million Dollar Man no amount of developing is going to change his lack of physical traits that make a franchise QB.
  24. Someone in the building had to have wanted CJ Stroud at least initially. We won't know the truth for a few years probably. But it will come out. On a side note. I am personally done hearing about Tua in reference to Bryce Young's struggles. The Dolphins are winning beating up bad teams. They have a very capable coaching staff. And they've built a fairly stacked roster. We don't and won't have any of those things for some time. I am of the opinion that 2025 will be the year we draft yet another QB. Unless Bryce Young loads up on HGH he is not going to be much if at all different physically next season. Defenses do not respect his arm talent. It isn't there.
