  1. ah ok got it. you are just point out my silliness and stupidity. well you keep on doing it and keeping me in check while i continue to be "silly" and "stupid". like i said i enjoy these conversations and we can both pretend like you don't care.
  2. you do care. it clearly bothers you. because every post i make i can guarantee you Mr. Scott is right around the corner to ignore every point brought up in the post but will immediately bring up my sources. like clock work every single time. it is funny to me to see how much it bothers you. i enjoy these conversations we have.
  3. wait did you just ignore all the prior stuff about jerry richardson? of course you did because you are unable to acknowledge anything negative said about him. like i said, and i will say it twice for you so you can understand, i know what i know and i will continue to believe what i believe. it feels like 25,000 of your 46,000 posts are you telling me i made stuff up. its not going to change what i know or believe.
  4. well that is where you are incorrect. since i have joined this board i have been anti jerry richardson. so you are off base there. i apologize if that is boring to you but quite frankly i don't come on these boards to entertain you. me being anti jerry richardson has nothing to do with me being heavily invested in the team being lousy. it is very plausible for a team with an awful owner, which the Panthers do in fact have, to pull off a successful season. the success the panthers have had as of late can be credited to David Gettleman. the hiring of David Gettleman can be credited to Ernie Accorsi. the picking of Ernie Accorsi to help get this franchise back on track can be credited to the ineptitude of Jerry Richardson over the past 20 years. i have said multiple times if the Panthers were to win a Super Bowl it would be in spite of Jerry Richardson. it is also fine if you want to keep bringing up the source thing because it truly doesn't bother me. i will be back on the boards tomorrow just like you will. i know what i know. you know what i know. and in the grand scheme of life it doesn't matter. you want to tell me what my ideas about what it is like inside the Panthers is off base that is fine. that is not going to make me wake up tomorrow and change what I know and what my opinion is.
  5. no i think this is a case where Hardy was genuinely liked in the locker room. i think this was a case where the coaching staff legitimately wanted him back. i think this was a case where the team and player could have worked something out if the team chose to. i think this is a case where Richardson disregarded multiple people in the organization and did what was best for his buddy Roger. everyone here is so quick to praise Voth and call him this great source, which I completely agree with as well. I think Voth is both great and reliable. he came out with a story straight up saying that the Richardson would consider brining him back if he apologized and gave back money. that is ridiculously petty of him. you claim you did this because the Panthers do the right (except when Steve Smtih beats up teammates and let Greg Hardy play week 1 and until his buddy Roger steps in), but at the same time was considering letting him come back if he groveled and gave you money back. that is ridiculous.
  6. got me again there Scott. your comments directed at me are always so clever.
  7. that you are a jerry richardson shill. look my sources are accurate.
  8. lol so he straight out said that he is the one who made the decision. that isn't hands on? people who say the opposite are just the people who want to believe that anyway.
  9. did anyone notice how many owners spoke to the media today? also the owners who are scheduled to speak this week? not the Big Cat. he is too good for that. he doesn't have time to answer questions and speak to us pee ons through the media.
  10. i remember when people were trying to say greg hardy was such a locker room cancer and was such a me guy. funny seeing Josh Norman say that him and his teammates would have literally done anything to bring him back. how Jonathan Stewart reached out to him via twitter to wish him good luck. Charles Johnson and Thomas Davis retweeting fans pleading for Greg Hardy to come back. Charles Johnson wishing him good luck via twitter and writing hopefully teammates in the future. Thomas Davis going on WFNZ saying he hopes they bring him back and how the locker room would welcome him back. Just shows the disconnect between Jerry Richardson and everyone but the shield.
  11. You can punch guys in the face and break their jaws and you can almost cause someone to go blind by beating the crap out of them and you can be charged with domestic violence and play for the moral king Jerry Richardson only until the shield steps in and intervenes. Then and only then do you fake cry and talk about how you always do the right thing.
  12. Yup that guy. I know it's confusing since there are two Steve Smiths.
  13. Jerry has his favorites. It is a fact. If you don't kiss his ass and worship the ground he walks on, well then you are expendable. Just see Julius Peppers and Kris Jenkins. It's no mystery why Steve Smith could beat up multiple teammates and JR have his back.
  14. You are preaching to th choir. No one wants Jerry Richardson to die. You would have to be a disgusting human being to hope for that. But the Jerry Richardson worshippers immediately turn to that when people call out JR and wish we had different ownership. It makes no sense to me, but it is a pattern on this board.
  15. Yes we've done a whole lot more losing than winning since the beginning and for a team that has preached pass rush in draft let 2 hometown stars walk for nothing in peppers and Hardy. And I can't think of a time this team signed anyone's favorite free agent. And the only pattern I see is the big cat.
  16. Ah my favorite topic on this board. Anyone who wants a new owner must mean they also want Jerry Richardson to die. I rather the panthers never win another game than for anyone to die. So one belief is not synonymous with the other. Does this really surprise anyone. An awul decision was made, and who has been the one constant when it comes to poor decisions over the past 20 years? Yeah this shouldn't surprise anyone. Very telling in the article when Norman says how badly the locker room and coaching staff wanted him back. Jerry Richardson does not care, all he cares about is that shield at the 50 yard line and Mr. Godell.
  17. it is not that cotchery wouldn't be one of our top 5-6, but he would just be redundant. cutting cotchery would save some cap space. also keeping him would stunt the growth of cory brown.
  18. haha it is just funnier to laugh at them opposed to arguing with them. like i said no one in their right mind truly believes cotchery is better than nicks. i still think we see an upgrade before free agency.
  19. that is why you are the football historian.
  20. i diagree. i could not care less about where hakeem nicks was born. this guy is only 27 and was a top 10 WR in football at one point. he will be extremely cheap. there is nothing but upside here.
  21. damn my mind is blown. brenton bersin has a job but greg jennings and michael crabtree do not. so that must mean bersin is better. thank you for your football lessons.
  22. Just ignore him, he's the football encyclopedia. He only said something because you agreed with me.
  23. Good input dude. When Cotchery puts up seasons like 79-1052-11 and 76-1192-7 then I'll buy your sarcastic cotchery comparisons. Also Nicks is 6 years younger than Cotchery.
  24. So we went from being his number 1 choice because of his daughter to being out of consideration unless we offer 3 for 12?
