Also weird move going after physical appearance on someone you couldn’t pick out of a lineup. Chubby was a funny insult when we were like 8. The main point of my post was to laugh at the incompetence of Tepper and Fit for turning down those packages. Our local hero getting boat raced is only the cherry on top.

Just also want to point out that we could very easily still be down 35-0 without DJ Moore and Brian Burns on the roster. Franchise is just pathetic.

The Carolina Panthers, who are a complete dumpster fire of a franchise, and well on their way to 2-7, turned down 3 1st round 1 2nd round draft picks for DJ Moore and Brian Burns. Brian Burns, who by the way has never had double digit sacks in his career and would struggle to stop me on the run. Not only should Scott Fitterer be fired, he should be arrested for such malpractice. There were fans on here saying Steve Wilks should be given the job next season. If this man was born in Boise, Idaho there wouldnt be one person on here who would want him back next season. Being from Charlotte is not a resume booster and should hold zero value while deciding his fate. If this man is still the head coach more than 24 hours after the last game of the season, the NFL needs to open an investigation on David Tepper. PJ Walker made one good throw and people were ready to crown him the 2023 starter and saying he would lead this team to the playoffs this year. Again, all you can do is laugh. There is more of an argument to be made that PJ shouldnt be on this roster next year than him to be the starter. Making the playoffs this year would have set this franchise back a minimum of 3 years. This division is garbage and the goal shouldnt be just to be the least pathetic of the 4. This team needs a real quarterback and real coach. Until that happens, this is what our Sundays will look like for the foreseeable future. And again, both Fit and Tepper should be embarrassed of how they handled this deadline if those packages are true. Fit should not be the GM going into next season, but as we all know, David Tepper is allergic to making correct decisions. So I fully expect him back next season.

this is all fair. i think if they can somehow get back into the first round and add an explosive WR with DJ Moore and TMJ (who i have not given up on yet) and then add a G/C and RB in round 2 and 3, we will be in good shape. Ickey is a stud LT. Brady is a piece and Moton is a good player.

Quarterback and then every other pick should be used on weapons and offensive lineman to surround him with. hopefully someone in this pathetic organization learned their mistakes with Cam. Our in house Jack Easterby can make sure to tell them how they did nothing at all to help Cam.

One of the worst things to happen to this franchise was winning that Tampa game. The team was literally holding the worst record in the league and would have had the number 1 pick in the draft of the season had ended the week before. They beat a bad Tampa team and this fan base got delusional. Steve wilks should be the head coach next year. Lol the guy was the DC at Missouri before he came back to Carolina. Not even David Tepper is dumb enough to keep this guy employed as head coach longer than 10 minutes after the final whistle of the season. brian burns is untouchable and can’t be traded for multiple first round picks. I love burns and would be willing to signing him long term, but people are absolutely delusional if they aren’t willing to part for a guy who has never had more than 9 sacks in a season for multiple firsts and other picks. pj Walker might be the future. He threw a perfect spiral 70 yards to dj moore. I’m not even going to waste time elaborating on how ridiculous of an opinion that is. this team could win the division. Not they cannot and even if they did they would have their doors blown off in the playoffs. The panthers would be forced to retain a motivational speaker as a head coach and waste another year proving to the world pj Walker is not the answer. The team needs to just keep losing and collecting draft picks. Put yourself in the best position possible to draft your next Cam Newton.

Just beyond dumb and truly is a fireable offense if Fitterer doesn’t pull the trigger on this deal.

I for one can not thank the refs enough for saving us from ourselves on Sunday. We need a quarterback. The best way to do that is getting a top 3 pick. The damage that would have been done to this franchise by winning this god awful Divison this year only to lose by 78 in the first round at home would be unbelievable. Steve wilks cannot be the head coach next year under any circumstances. PJ Walker should not be on this roster next year, let alone the starter. So thank you refs for saving us on Sunday. I rather have some hope for the future then wining a gimmicky division forcing our hand into hiring an under qualified coach and playing quarterback roulette for another season. Please let the falcons win the division and roll out Mariota again next year. Promise you they won’t be repeating division winners anytime soon.

Lol David Tepper has zero track record of winning. The eagles won a super bowl. They had their super bowl winning GM in place to do this rebuild. Scott Fitterer has proven nothing. three years is the absolute most optimistic view one can have, and that’s stretching it. Also can the eagles win a playoff game before we crown this is a miraculous 3 year turnaround? They only got in last year due to a terrible division and lost in the WC.

If they hit it on the QB and Coach I think they are at least 3 years out before competing for the playoffs. DJ more will be 28 on a contract year. They are at least 5 years away in my opinion from being in contention by for a super bowl, again if they get it right on the QB and coach. The question is, do you want To pay DJ Moore big money at 29 on his third contract right around when the team is finally making that jump. i can be sold on keeping him. I like him a lot. I just think it’s debatable if it’s more prudent to see if you can get someone to overpay and draft an elite WR who is on the same schedule as your QB.

Yesterday I was in sell mode. I wanted everyone gone and collect as many picks as possible. Now that I’ve slept on it, I think the only players of any value we should consider trading is Shaq and Moore. i love moore. I think he is a true number 1 receiver in this league. He has been dealt and awful hand and he doesn’t say 2 words. He comes out week after week and plays hard. With that said he will be 26 going into next season. His age and next contract do not line up with this teams next window of winning. If they can get multiple 2nds or maybe even a 1st from a desperate team then I think they have to pounce. shaq is so overrated and won’t be here next year anyway. So might as well get a pick for him if possible. this defense has 4 cornerstone guys they can build around and who are young. Brown, Burns, Chinn, and Horn. Keep building and developing around them and let the new and hopefully offensive coach have a solid defensive foundation to build off of. then in an ideal world you are taking a QB with the number 1 overall pick and will have either a first and 2 2nds or 3 2nds and you can move back into the 1st. Use everyone of those picks on offensive weapons for the new young QB. if this team, and it’s a big if, can hit on the coach and qb, this could be a quick turn around. The Bucs and Saints are on the decline. The falcons don’t have a QB. It has always been said the 4 most important positions to have on a team is a Franchise QB, a dominant LT, an edge pass rusher, and lockdown CB. The panthers will have all 4 of those and 25 and under if they hit on the QB. (First overall pick, Ickey, Burns, Horn). there is finally a plan and this garbage quarterback roulette is over. Stick to it and there is finally hope.

This is what bad organizations do. The GM and the Coach should be on the same clock. Scott should either be fired or he should be able to hire coach and gets as long as the coach does.

Disagree with this fully. real fans will never leave and are smart enough to realize what needs to happen. Fair-weather fans will be the first ones back when this team starts winning again. The only thing that will cause irreparable damages is staying status quo and playing musical chairs with god awful quarterbacks. The true fans will lose their passion and walk away. We were seeing that with Matt Rhule. believe me. Getting destroyed every game the rest of this season will not kill this franchise. My fellow fans from the beginning have been through a ton with this franchise and are still here. If we can make it through Rae Carruth, the Fred Lane tragedy, The Kerry Collins drama, the Sean Gilbert trade, George Seifert, losing 15 games in a row, Marty Hurney 1.0, Steve Smith punching Ken Lucas, the John Fox lame duck year, Jerry Richardson punting a season for the good of the shield, Andrew Luck spurning the Panthers and going back to college, Gettleman cutting Steve Smith, Getttleman rescinding the franchise tag from Josh Norman, Jerry Richardson bringing back the idiot Marty Hurney, Greg Hardy, Jerry Richardson being a creep trying to shave employees legs, the absurd treatment of Cam Newton and cutting him, Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfiled, and the entire Matt Rhule era then we will al survive tanking the rest of this season.
