You got wfnz guys cheerleading him on Twitter this morning. You have mike freeman posting an article that he should be the head coach. You would think this guy is 11-0 and not 5-6. He did not beat one team over .500. The teams he beat have a combined record of 34-46. He lost to the rams, falcons, and Steelers in a must win game with a back up QB. Give me a break. This guy has proven absolutely nothing other than he’s not head coach material.

Ben Johnson, Ken Dorsey, and Shane Steichen. and before I hear, what have they proven? What has wilks proven? What did Nick Siriani prove before he was hired? How about Zach Taylor? Kyle Shanahan? Sean McVey? What was Doug Pedrrsons track record before wining a super bowl in Philly?

Nailed it, but that’s not the reason. just never seen such a below average coach get so much support from local sports media and fan base. It’s embarrassing. Nfl should take one look at it and move us to number 1 on the list to relocate to London. you know what the 8 out of the 12 playoff teams that have clinched a spot have in common? Offensive minded head coaches. Do you know what 12 out of 12 have in common? None of them have a coach who failed miserably at their first stop and next best job was defensive coordinator at Missouri.

I know this was a disappointing season as every season has been under Tepper, but that doesn’t mean there is nothing to celebrate. Today will be Steve Wilks last day ruining this fenchise along with everyone from the old regime. a young offensive mastermind is just around the corner and there is finally some hope. Will be even better if this team can lose today to strengthen their draft pick and give them a better asset to trade up to get their franchise Qb to pair with young coach. Ron Rivera jr. Had every opportunity to win this job, but failed. He choked against Pittsburgh at home against a backup QB. He choked away a multi touchdown lead against TB for the division. Refused to make any adjustments with all pro cj Henderson on mike evans and it cost him. first time in a long time I have some optimism about this franchise, and that is a great feeling.

Nothing says modern day offense like wilks. This is really a moot point. There is no chance Tepper hires this guy full time and I’m going to love the melt that will happen once he is let go. Finally bright times ahead for this franchise.

Got it. Let me just clarify it for you one more time. If the Panthers hire Steve Wilks it would be one of the worst coaching hires of all time and would set this franchise back a minimum 5 years . Not even Davis Tepper is stupid enough to do that.

How about that defense which he specializes in with studs like horn, burns, chinn, and brown on it. Mike evans is still open 15 hours later. this guys stunk in Arizona and got fired. The best job he could get was at Missouri after that. Then the Panthers gave him a chance as position coach, not even coordinator. He is 5-6 since he took over , and you would think by listening to the god awful Charlotte media and a group of dumb fans that he is 11-0. This guy would be a much worse ron rivera.

Just amazes me. The panthers beat an awful broncos teams and everyone is clamoring for him to be the next coach. Guy had a chance to win the division and laid eggs against Pittsburgh and Tampa bay and it’s nothing but silence.
