Yeah he was very depressing to watch and boring. Darnolds stats don't look much better when I was seeing his but I sure hope he can find his swag here that he had in college. Chances are he may not but I will get behind him and hope as I did with Teddy.

Yeah he is definitely not a leader as sokemof our former QB's were like Cam or Delhomme and I'm glad to see him make his exit as he just doesn't have it at all. On the other hand though would you personally go out if your way to welcome the new guy taking your spot away if you knew you were going to be out if q job any day at all? Seriously, answer that question with honesty? I don't really care for Teddy as our QB at all but what bisnit you expect him to do? Why would he even give a damn? He is about out the door and is focused on finding his next team to throw 15 td passes in an entire season for and play the most boring conservative ball they have ever seen. Why in the heck would he care about reaching out to anyone else other than helping himself? I just don't get the rationale of him needing to? Sam is a big boy and does not need Teddy's blessing. I don't know how Darnold will be and hoping much better than what his last has shown but I do know Teddy is no leader and I'm just glad he is almost gone.

I have to side with Teddy here. I wouldn't care to be reaching out to my new job replacement and trying to be this super sweet guy when my whole life has been changed and I'm having to spend all my time either prepping to leave and finding my next stop or training. Reaching out to Darnold and being sweetheart would be last on my mind as at this point I would be worried about myself and my future. Not saying I'm not glad he is headed out but I certainly don't expect Teddy to be rolling out the red carpet for Darnold and doing tons of PR here in Carolina since it looks like his time here is done.

Money buys it's way out of everything. In a perfect world this piece of poo would be beaten until he had a brain injury. Hope he rots in hell. I'm sure he doesn't give a damn about that child one bit. He is too busy caught up living the fast life and enjoying living off daddy's name.

I think we are still not there yet but its getting much better no doubt. How good these coaches are at developing young players or mentally healing damaged young players from other teams will ultimately determine our success.

Who is your guy to fix the QB problem? What QB rights the ship in your eyes? Besides Cam i mean as we both know he isn't coming back at this point.

Problem is some of the mods are up the arse of a couple of the biggest drama queens on here so those rules dont apply to everyone from what i see. One of the biggest foul mouthed culprits is on here everyday in one of his half drunken fatty rants cursing at anyone he does not agree with like the little "Daddy still pays my rent though im late 30's" cry boy he is.

Ehhh, dont let it get to you. There are some sensible people here and then there are some portly smart mouthed tinderbox mafia wannabe internet bullies who like to run their mouth every chance they get. Its usually the one who like to act as if they are so "woke" and have had life so hard blah blah blah. The mods take care of one or two of them and never ban them though they frequently attack other posters consistently. I usually just argue with them some until im banned and come right back. Some of the mods should not actually be mods as they allow one particular sensitive whiny flabby boy to attack anyone and everyone he sees fit. Just laugh it all off and enjoy it for the news and occasionally an argument with a douche nozzle or two.

A gross miscarriage of NFL justice? As far as I know that pill head was the leader of that crew when they carried out some pretty awful tactics and hurt some NFL QB's at the end of their careers. Don't get me wrong if I'm GM I'd trade him for a bag of Doritos to lose that contract of his but every team probably figures we are desperate and will just wait to hope he is cut. It's not like he is a hot commodity so.if he isn't cut I'm sure teams won't be losing sleep over it and talking about the one that got away if they don't get him. The rational thinking person in me wants Sewell or Slater. The Madden GM in me wants Pitts because he is a freak of nature and I have visions of Megatron. Only problem with that line of thinking is it's hard to get Pitts the ball if the QB has no damn time to pass it.

They may need him if Watson is suspended right? Tyrod and Teddy sound like a combo that can get you 8 wins if they have a decent enough line. Isn't Tyrod a little better of a thrower statistically than Teddy though?

That's a good read and opinion I just agree with. The team has been poorly run but not as bad as the absolute worst. Look at the Taints. Take away the Brees/Payton years and that franchise is utter paper bag over their heads garbage historically. The Browns are absolutely awful minus last season. Redskins and Jets look to be contentenders to be turds for years also.

I think DJ is damn good but I don't see him as a too WR in the league yet at all. I would like to see him with a QB that can really get him the ball and is more of a gunslinger but I unfortunately don't feel Darnold will be it either. He has loads of potential. He is nowhere near as dominant or a force as Steve Smith was but nobody is like that little short monster was so can't ever expect to see that again in anyone I guess unfortunately. So far DJ definitely deserves a second contract but definitely not tops in the league. It will be interesting to see what he does this year. I don't believe he had a lot of chemistry with Teddy and don't know judging by his past in the league if Darnold is capable of getting him the ball but I sure hope I'm wrong.
