I don't see how anyone would be interested in Sam at all at this point especially if they are not getting anything except an even swap. It feels like a team would almost have to be given some sort of compensation to take Sam off our hands.

If we could move up by moving Robbie and a mid round for a chance at Sam Howell I would do without a second thought.

I would consider trading Robbie and a mid rounder to move up for Sam Howell or maybe even Carson Strong possibly but I don't think anybody really wants or cares about Robbie Anderson after his bad season last year unfortunately.

This. If it's pick 137 and we don't give up next year's pick to move up by all means draft a QB but I really don't want to lose more draft picks next year. If they would take Robbie Anderson to move up in this draft I would be interested but nobody is taking him for a second and I won't even start day dreaming on something impossible.

Yep, I agree they would be a good fit too. I could see either Tampa or Atlanta for sure.

It's too perfect for them. They won't pass him up I don't believe. They will sit him a year or so and slowly unleash him in gadget plays this season and he will take over by end of following season. They are rebuilding an offense I think. I think the end result will be a string offense and so/so defense. I will be surprised if he is there and Atlanta passes him up. Whether or not he will develop into something good who knows but I bet Atlanta takes him.

I love Cam and he has sentimental meaning to myself and my son but I have a feeling he won't be back. The nostalgic sentimental person in me wants to see Cam with a complete off-season and behind a better line myself but I have a feeling we have fun out course with Cam and IF he does come back it will be somewhere else to play. I also realize he doesn't quite have what he once did and injuries and time have taken some away from him. I think he still has some gas in the tank and the right situation with the right team could be a great move for him offering him a quality role as a backup but at this point I think it's somewhere else unfortunately. Great player, great role model and great human being who did a lot for the community of Charlotte. He changed culture around here and is a Panther icon. I miss a prime Cam every time the Panthers take the field. Whatever he does from here he will be successful because he has the personality and a good demeanor. I hope he heads back to television. My kid loved him on his Nickelodeon show. He was meant to be in front of the camera. All the best to my son's favorite Panther ever.

Glad we got an OT. I am remaining optimistic that he will do great for us especially with the guidance of the new O-line coach we have. He appears young, big, strong, and has a tough nasty attitude so he definitely has all the tools to be successful. If his work ethic is there along with his mind focused on football and not wild partying and all that stuff he will get better year after year and be a solid player for the future. I have zero issues with this pick and would have gotten behind any pick in support of the young player coming in to learn. Glad it was him to get behind and root for. Great run blocker but with focus and work ethic he can become a great pass blocker too. We have the right O-line coach to help make that happen also.

I can explain it to you easy. Rhule sucks as a coach in the NFL. He is in way over his head and knows it but loves the paycheck. He fully expects to be fired but now sounds as if he may collect said paycheck for 5 years minimum and then get fired at which time he will head back and coach a team like Temple in college and laugh about these days while he drives our team straight into the ground. Why would he play him? Why not just sit him on the bench and then play him a couple games and admit he screwed up? I mean it isn't like Tepper is going to fire him. I swear Rhule must have incriminating pictures or evidence on Tepper which would only explain how this poo show continues on into the abyss and the black hole it appears we are heading towards with Coach Rhule at the wheel.

How about NEITHER and we just fire Rhule.

Nobody praising him but how many threads are started on here that are similar each month? How many Cam, CMC or Rhule Sucks threads do you see started each month? Same thing.

I will probably be upset just because Matt Rhule leads the draft and I'm so over this guy it isn't even funny. If we had another coach I did not despise so much I probably would be excited as always even if I didn't totally agree with the pick. Matt Rhule reminds me of my narcissistic ex wife (except he may be slightly more attractive and have a better physique) and it just disgusts me.

At this point though I don't think there is a worry about playing Sam in terms of hurting his value is there? He couldn't have any value left for a trade could he? I don't feel very confident that someone would even offer us a 6th round pick for him.

He seems like a weapon for definite but I wish his accuracy was a little better. I don't even think he will get to us. I bet he is gone before pick 6
