  1. Saw the headline and wanted to say that the pull out method isn't very effective at all so I don't have much confidence in Disney/ESPN or Eli Apple for that matter. Come on guys, we can all do better to promote safe sex.
  2. I would give him up to 3 million per year. With a decent O-line the dude can be pretty decent. I wouldnt break the bank but that is fair I believe.
  3. Where was Jalen Hurts drafted? I never believed he would amount to much in the NFL and boy has he proven me wrong. Wish we had him every time I see him on TV
  4. I thought Lance had a much higher upside and not sure what has gone wrong with him so far as I havent watched much San Fran. Is Lance bad or just not been given enough room and time to grow?
  5. If that is the case then we definitely HAVE to have a coach who is a QB whisperer
  6. I wasnt sure if he would be GREAT but I thought he would at least be a good quality QB one day. Unless something drastically changes it appears he wont even be "good".
  7. I wouldn't completely rule him out and cast him away just based off one partial preseason in his rookie year. Wait and see how it goes next season. He wasn't trending in the right direction I agree but way too early to write him off or crown him a NFL level starter. Sucks he got injured so we couldn't get an idea of what he could do this season in the regular season and I doubt he is NFL starter material but I wouldn't say it's over and he is guaranteed bust yet either.
  8. That is racist behavior? Man come on seriously...? You are reaching hard here aren't you? The dude asked why the ball was as dark as him. Should we pretend we are in a fantasy world where everyone is the same shade? Had someone of very light complexion been bouncing a very light colored ball and someone of a different color asked why the ball was as light as him would you be standing up for it as well? Of course you wouldn't. I suppose im racist for not agreeing with you right? The BS with racism is in fact real but so are people who sit around and just look for anything to claim racism.
  9. Damn, he won an MVP? Yikes! Must have been a very down year for everyone else......
  10. Whatever they do, I would not let him get away. He is most definitely worth a larger contract. Lots of debate about how much he is worth. Consider the alternative of what we have had at center and his value becomes obvious.
  11. Wait a second.....Didn't you just suggest him as a D-coordinator earlier in this thread.....? God never mind, I just got "SpecialJuan'd". I walked right into that poo pile! lol
  12. Ouch, now I think I remember hearing something about that.
  13. You are way to worked up every last time someone doesn't completely agree with you Frankie so I say get off your high horse as well. Philly and I had a few differences but I don't think in any of our disagreements I ever saw him once generally question the intelligence level of everyone around him if they didn't completely agree with him. I am honored though in your busy schedule of accusing everyone of being mentally challenged that you are bored enough to notice my insignificant presence on a message board. I am most definitely not worthy of such an honor oh great and all knowledgeable oracle of the Panthers message board. I will let you go now so you may grab your bran muffin and your cup of coffee and head off to that cubicle to start your day.
  14. I noticed recently that you have a habit or intense desire to poo on almost every person on this board who doesn't fully agree with you on every subject. Nobody on this damn board thinks Baker or Darnold are great players after what we have seen the past couple years but you like to pretend these are the EXACT words they are spouting out. You are narcissistic as all hell and condescending to the point Tate everyone who does not 100% have your EXACT same opinion is a moron. Look in the mirror and do a serious self assessment then learn some form of social skills. You are not the expert you think you are. If you were you would have a job in NFL management somewhere instead of sitting on a message board pretending everyone else is a moronic poo that doesn't kiss your butt over all your "expert" opinions.
  15. Golf? You are making fun of somebody "never playing a sport" then you talk about your golf experience? Hardcore there for sure. Tell me you put khaki pants on and go pretend you are Tiger Woods while playing expert athlete without telling me you put khaki pants on while pretending to be Tiger Woods the athlete while you using your golf prowess as a piss poor example to try to look like a bad ass jock.
  16. We could play musical QB chairs I guess if you'd rather.....Darnold does not excite me either so we could put PJ in I guess. He is more exciting but the team as a whole is not going to be world beaters this season anyhow. We may go on a lucky streak and beat some teams again and even win a poo division but in the end we won't beat any good playoff teams I fear. I'm still watching and supporting hoping of course next season is better. I don't have any answers as to which head acoadh that is or future QB that is but I sure hope the guys who make the decision get it right this time and will remain supportive with whoever they select. I have a feeling we will be going new coach and new QB this year. I don't think Wilks will be getting the job unless he now wins out completely to make up for sunday's poo the bed performance.
  17. I wonder what kind of leader he will be? Some of these offense gurus turn out to be absolute failures and other prove to be worth it. It's a risk but I understand one worth taking. Hopefully he is as good a leader as he is at his current position. If we get him I of course am all in on supporting him as I always am no matter who we have on the field or coaching. Certainly nobody could ever be worse a leader or decision maker than Rhule anyhow so he has to be an upgrade over that guy.
  18. Nothing wrong with that. He was a good player for us and looks like he is a good player for San Francisco now. His career seems to be moving in the right direction again so I'm happy for him. He was never a problem when he was here other than some injury issues but he was a good dude and represented the organization well. He was also super nice to my son when he met him and offered him some great advice when he asked him for it pertaining to his own sport. Just an all around great guy and a class act. I wish him nothing but the very best except of course when we play him in which case I wish him to be held in check and nothing great stats wise.
  19. Well yeah I agree with you on almost everything. All I was trying to say is that Darnold did not lose us the game. With Darnold in there the coaches don't trust him enough to do much of anything but yesterday as his performance was based upon what the staff put in for him he did not lose the game for us or screw it up. Darnold isn't a starting QB or any kind of threat that's for sure but this loss is not on him this time. The fact is the QB situation has been so dismal yesterdays performance by Darnold was unfortunately considered decent by our standards and no, it was nothing special at all. We don't think any different at all. I just don't see how Darnold lost the game for us yesterday that's all. It's not like I want to crown him out franchise savior but I also don't want to blame yesterdays loss on him when it wasn't his fault for a change.
  20. At what point did I say I wanted to celebrate that Darnold didn't do anything awful? Yes he didn't take the game over and win it and yes he was treated very conservatively for fear that he might screw the game up but I can't put blame on him as the sole main reason we lost. First of all the O-line sucked to hell and back of I'm going to blame anyone. No running game could get going and plain out bad blocking was had by most on the line. Hell no, none of our QB's are starting material that I'm rolling solely with next year but hell no am I going to say "We lost against Pittsburgh because of Darnold". I'm not a Darnold apologist, not really even a fan, not a believer in him as the future or anything even close but I'm not going to sit here and say falsely that we lost because of him and exactly what he did out there. Yep, the coaches don't trust him to open that offense up I can tell but he sure as hell did not cost us the game.
  21. Does not matter how Trubisky played. It's as simple as Darnold did not MAKE us lose today whether you like it or not. Im no Darnold is the future supporter but I can see obvious when it sits in front of me. He did not play all world but he as well did not kill us to pieces and make us lose either. Is that make trying to "cape" for Darnold? Nope it's just the simple facts.
  22. Looks like some people let the teams woes (which do suck I agree) pull them down too much.
