  1. Nobody asked for a 5 year contract out of him. His turnovers have looked much better this season have they not? So from what you have seen this year if he signed a fair deal, you would not even keep him for a backup?
  2. Harbaugh though can actually coach and develop QB's. In other words unlike Rhule he is not a bumbling fugging idiot short order cook
  3. That dude looks like he could potentially really hurt his bean bag doing some of that poo.
  4. Oh okay then. Well who can we do better with? Who is your guy?
  5. I am convinced Darnold has plowed a few guys moms or girlfriends here. Their Darnold hatred is almost absurd. Nobody is saying he is the future. All some of us are saying is that if he does not want a monster contract, why not sign him and at least get ourselves a decent backup if he continues to look as he has.
  6. Yep exactly! Its been more than a couple games actually. So tell me genius, what veteran should we bring in then?
  7. What? So dont even resign him as a backup because you hate him that much? Like it or not the guy looks much better and looks to be a very legit backup QB AT LEAST. If he doesnt want to break the bank we should absolutely resign him to a reasonable contract and let him compete in training camp. If he doe snot want HUGE money we would be complete idiots to not work out something with him to keep him. Worst case scenario he would make a very reliable backup if he continues to look as he has.
  8. This was the first year he came on and he did so in limited duty with a head coach fired and a new coach taking over. He looks better plain and simple. Nope he doesnt look like a prime Tom Brady but he looks damn decent and if he isnt asking for a ton of money in a new contract he should absolutely be resigned for a couple years in the offseason especially if we draft a rookie QB.
  9. I don't get why that is? It just does not make sense to me but appears to be that way. Maybe it is because the "good" players they hate are not "great" players? They are just good enough to be a good solid player the organization can count on for years to be productive but they will never quite be a hall of fame player perhaps? If that is the mind set I would have to say being a good player is so much easier than a hall of fame legend and those are far and few between. Teams full of good solid reliable players win super bowls every year. Most of those teams are not filled with hall of famers throughout the roster. Its just weird to me to not like good players. They are the the ones you want to be the core of your whole damn team I would think?
  10. How is 12.5 sacks on a rookie deal salary a top disappointment? Is he Julius Peppers level HOF career so far? No not at all but some people act like he is the world's worst player ever and that could not be further from the truth. The guy is good and can play. Would I pay him the highest salary for his position in the league? Nope, but the dude definitely deserves higher than a rookie salary when he comes up. Will he take a deal that is good but not the best in the NFL when his time comes? Who knows but I hope so and am happy to take that gamble that we keep versus lose him. He is getting better every year. Next season o fully expect even more sacks and more improvement. He is not a Nick Bosa but he damn sure is not a disappointment.
  11. Nobody can predict how many years we are away as we have absolutely zero idea what we could do in the off-season with the draft and free agency. Make the right moves and all of a sudden the window is open now.
  12. I have never seen a WR strike that much fear in an opposing defense and singlehandedly take so much pride in wrecking a cornerback physically as well as mentally. He should have been a finalist. What a complete crock of poo!
  13. I agree. I hope the guy wakes up, recovers and has this surprise waiting on him to fuel him to fight forward in his recovery.
  14. Damar's toy drive originally was hoping to raise $2,500. As of 8:45pm this evening it is up to 5.4 million. If everyone gives a little who knows how high it could get. Just thought I would share hoping a few more will see it and add to that total that much more. Hopefully this link works. https://www.gofundme.com/f/mxksc-the-chasing-ms-foundation-community-toy-drive?utm_campaign=m_pd+share-sheet&utm_content=undefined&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_term=undefined
  15. I was thinking the same thing about just calling it a 0-0 tie and moving on. Its unfortunate it cant be like boxing and have a "no contest" out.
  16. If there were any I would at least consider it would be him. If not, perhaps Harbaugh could let go of a little bit of his ego and share that responsibility with a GM. Maybe both sides could bend slightly. I think Harbaugh is a very good coach but he also seems to have a huge ego which might not work well if he did in fact want full control. So i guess we could say good ole' coach Rhule (idiot) gave Tepper some PTSD for future coaches? Was there even one damn positive thing this franchise got from having Rhule? I can't think of one single positive thing as i'm not giving him credit for some of the draft picks that turned out well. He just doesn't seem smart enough to even evaluate talent.
  17. If he wants full control as I have seen mentioned here I would at least feel better about it with Harbaugh than with Rhule. Something tells me Harbaugh is not an absolute walking buffoon as Rhule was in the NFL.
  18. Any updates at all this morning on him other than what I've seen on ESPN? Any docs in here? What is his prognosis long term? Will be be okay and live a normal life? Will he just snap out of this? What happens next? When will he be woken up and move around again? His heart is young at 24 years old, is there a chance he fully recovers and no damage at all? The hole thing made me so sick to see. I feel so bad for him and just want to see him up and about and feeling good.
  19. God this is so horrible to turn on my TV and see this news. I hope the guy will be okay. I don't understand if it was the particular play on the field that cause sit or some awful underlying medical condition. Either way I can only pray here and hope the poor guy pulls through just fine. I can only imagine how his family and teammates must have felt seeing that on the field. Feel so awful for everyone involved.
  20. I would take him. He has proven he can coach at any level and would be a heck of a big hire but I doubt that happens. He will pick the Broncos im willing to bet as Elway will help win him over. Two old QB's talking shop and a buddy system comes of it where a new hire is made.
  21. I don't know how I feel but im open minded. Sean McDermont was a D-coordinator and has been a very solid coach in Buffalo so maybe he is another Sean McDermont???
  22. You mentioned our top 8 CB appears to be made of glass and I can't argue that fact that he has been injured LOTS! Where I'm confused though is how Wilks had anything to do with that?
