I hope he is considered a major steal of the draft by the end of the year. You build winning teams by finding great steals like that.

You should write him a fan letter and tell him how you feel. You may get a date out of it, you never know. You miss 100% of the kicks you never take and in Joeys case you miss about half of those that you do take.

I hate to be pessimistic but I unfortunately do not have any confidence that we have a competent long term starter at QB on the roster. PJ may turn into a decent backup with some development who knows but I don't see a starter in him at all unfortunately and I definitely don't see one in Grier and hate that I feel the way I do but do not feel Darnold is the long term solution either just by the limited things I've seen. I admit I've seen limited action on Darnold but I haven't been overly blown away with what I have. Perhaps if Darnold was an actual totally green rookie I would have hope but not with a few years in the league under his belt even if he was playing in an absolute poo storm in NY. I am happy Teddy is gone but I think the best we have on our roster at QB is maybe a very decent backup in Darnold or potentially PJ Walker if he can get that accuracy better. Waker is exciting to watch though and he has something I cant explain when I see him play. Don't think it translates to a starter but could be a fun backup.

I mean could we find a good tackle available via a trade without giving up all our valuable assets? Who could we trade along with a draft choice which I'm sure would have to be?

I am guilty of arguing back and forth in the past with a few with this screen name and another I was banned on. I don't seem to care for a few posters and don't like their overall attitude on everything but when I think about it most people's personalities are amplified on the internet and these are not their true real life on the street personalities. To a few of you I have generally disliked or argued back and forth with my apologies and it was a waste of time anyhow. It sounds goofy but I can't control others and can only control myself. With that in mind I can look in the mirror and improve on what i see each day and learn to just ignore dumb poo attitudes I don't care for. Life is too short to waste it arguing on a message board. In the end we all support the same team even though we may feel differently on many subjects. Seriously, my apologies to anyone I have ever said anything crappy too. I don't know you and you don't know me. I had no right to judge your whole life based upon a message board post. It is better to build than to destroy so new leaf turned for me. I will no longer argue with anyone no matter if I feel attacked or not since in the end no matter who wins the argument nobody has furthered their life as a whole and we wasted eachothers valuable time typing I'm anger and that is time we can never get back. Time that could have been better spent making the world a better place instead of adding more anger to it. Being as real as I can be. The injury sucks but how has Pride looked in camp so far? Had hopes for him when he was drafted and he is still young but curious how he has looked in camp so far. From the sound of a couple posters has he looked sub par so far this year?

If the injury bug hits at tackle we could be calling random hefty guys off their couches or plucking off teams practice squads to come start and play some O line this year which will suck.

That was exactly my thought. I'd rather have very consistent over a freak leg who can boom a 70 yard miss but make it look awesome with the keg strength. How long has it been since we have had consistent complete confidence in a kicker to know he is almost always going to be automatic? Anybody remember when we had Joe Nedney? He was pretty consistent I think.

I think he just needs more and more game time. I think he learned some looks at least at playing against starting level talent a few plays to see what happens and more importantly see what they have with him.

Don't know if anybody caught the short interview he has yesterday during the game but Taylor Moton sounded like someone who has huge potential to be an offensive line leader. Before yesterday I had never even seen his face without a helmet on and certainly never heard him talk before. He sounded confident in himself and like someone younger players could get behind for guidance and such. I don't know if he has always been this way or over the past few years he has developed into that but he sounded like a great guy and a good team player. If that guy could grasp LT and grasp it well I would be all about him being there but maybe it is more of an advantage to have him in his natural position where he can easily use all his skills without much struggle. All I know is I have never heard him speak before yesterday and he seemed like a very intelligent and level headed leader for the team. Seemed like a great guy to have in the locker room.

I'm not going to be a do and gloom poster but I have to admit left tackle is extremely important and has me pretty concerned there. If LT is a disaster this year I can guarantee the offense and Sam Darnold (who I'm not at all convinced will be the answer) will be in some serious trouble. I don't have the answers though. Perhaps in the last couple years we haven't seen what we believe to be a solid LT worth taking in the draft position we have been in at any point of any round. The whole LT situation is concerning if you are a Panthers fan for sure.

I think it's crap coverage on Fox actually. I've had Time Warner/Spectrum for years and while they are awful with almost every level of service on every front I believe it is more of a Fix issue. I've had it on games over the years where Fox goes in and out with spotty garbage reception and coverage yet I turn to a different channel and the reception/coverage is just fine. I have bitched about this crap for probably 15 years. I don't get it at all.

I really feel for healthcare workers dealing with this poo in person on a daily basis. In my opinion it takes a special kind of bravery to take care of those deathly ill knowing their chances of contracting something even with being vaccinated are high.

It's going to be a real poo show I see now. Everything is going to get shut down again more than likely. Had my kid signed up for in person school but all this news has got me scared as hell and now signing him up online. This one worries me even more with children getting terrible ill and mine not old enough to even get the vaccine. Hate it for Zods family and hope everyone recovers well. These times make me miss the "old days" before Covid was ever a thing.

Can't get my kid vaxee until he is 12 which sucks with him starting school this week. I'm withdrawing him and going virtual after seeing how bad this poo has gotten again. There really is no hope in sight at all it seems.
