  1. I am concerned to a degree and know what you mean. Looks like he has had some time to heal though. If that knee held up he could turn into something
  2. He does sound very interesting the more I read on him. Definitely sounds as if he has great potential to develop into something very good at QB
  3. He really could be worth a chance in my opinion. Could still get a big time offensive lineman in the first as well or a big time anything except for a QB is we went the Strong route.
  4. Just read some on him and became very interested in Strong also. I would be happy if we traded back into day 2 and picked him up. I feel like he has just as much chance of developing into something very nice as any of the top QB's this year.
  5. What round do they think this guy could be had in? Both his stats and your post has me interested now as well
  6. Not a chance. I don't want Baker but he definitely is better than Darnold I believe. Almost anyone over Darnold. Teddy B even over Darnold.
  7. Yeah that's true when I think about what you are saying. Agreed
  8. Oh he does seem like the type of guy they would go for. He has a Steelers vibe to him. Now I'm kind of hoping they don't get him.
  9. That high? If he was our guy I'd definitely trade back some and try to pick up a second if someone would bite. He sure seemed like he had the ability at beginning of season last year. I'm no Tarheel fan (don't hate or like them) but I do see how he could potentially be a diamond in the rough selected later behind some other guys who fizzle out.
  10. Willis would be dangerous for sure if he can get everything down from what I see of him. Don't know too much about him other than highlights I have seen but I guess any QB with that kind of run threat could be huge if they can also develop a pretty accurate pass as well.
  11. Wow, something tells me he will be available in later rounds and I would be all about taking a chance on him as I don't think he would cost a super high pick. When do you think he will go? Second or third?
  12. Who is your guy at QB with the 6th pick if you could have any of them?
  13. Well hell you got me there and that is right on the money. I guess you are right and it is just a crap shoot in the end. Very few are these can't miss generational types and most are the guys like you mention who had flaws yet developed well.
  14. Who would you take. I see what you are saying but if you take a QB which one would you go with?
  15. So youre saying draft a guy now and develop him basically? Work with him and fix his flaws and grow him up? Of so I think that's a great idea and am behind it but unfortunately I have no faith in our coaches ability to develop a QB. If we had a different coach I would be totally on board with that. I wish we had hired a coach who was a known QB developer instead of Rhule but that's a different story I guess. I do see where you are coming from and definitely agree with your logic when you break it down that way.
  16. But all the QB's this year seem flawed as heck in some way shape or form. I would be all about drafting one of these guys if we had a second but the 6th overall pick seems like such a reach. I'm no expert obviously but just my opinion.
  17. As much as I can't stand the Saints they have been a pretty well run organization and pretty crafty for a number of years now even after their moron head hunting bounty defensive coordinator and their recent retired pill head coach being a very solid coach but a pill head puke. They have more plans and it's probably to try to cram it down the NFC Souths throats. Even when they suck these days they are still competitive. They lose one of the best QB's to ever play and they still look decent in a down year. It just baffles me sometimes when it come stop the Taints. I can't stand them at all but must admit how well run and coached they always seem to be.
  18. I would really like they keeping that first round pick right where it is to have a chance at Ekwonu or Neal. I think each could be very good blockers for us for years with Ekwonu being my favorite. I say keep that first right where it is and see if we can get one of those two.
  19. Oh wow okay. Thanks for the insight you smug mouthed smart ass internet punk. Should have expected that from you as most of the time you sit on here just to run your fat mouth on the internet. I had zero idea what her political stance is on anything and was curious since you seemed to care so damn much. I honestly don't take the time to look up coaches wife's political stances. I take it you are one of the many tools out there who get all bent out of shape if someone's politics don't match their own? But by all means put your little stupid laughing gif up in response and move on bitch.
  20. What are his wife's politics comprised of? If it's just general human decency it's all good.
  21. Wasn't that from Rocky? Mickey told Balboa that didn't he?
  22. Both of them have supreme genetics that most people would never understand. Perfect storm created them and their genetics enable them to look or perform as they do much easier than any average person. I've been around it most of my life and know guys who never used yet had superior genetics and looked as if they did then knew guys who used like crazy and never achieved what Beason and CMC could. Most NFL players are natural genetic freaks and would stick out in a crowd anywhere. They are the absolute best of the best and the biggest genetic freaks of the genetic freaks. I seriously doubt either of them use or used.
  23. He was a badass on all levels
  24. Doesn't bother me. I think he is doing okay. Could be doing better but I think he is still developing and hasn't reached his ceiling yet. I think it's definitely worth picking up this fifth year and seeing what he has moving forward or how much further he can come along. He may not be tops in the league but he is no slouch at all currently where he is at and maybe we will see him go even further next season.
  25. There was EVERYTHING political about it but it's a free country as you said. I don't give a damn who you vote for or what your political stance is. That wasn't the point. You should take that garbage right on over to the tinderbox where it belongs.
