  1. You are right that is the first. I was mistakingly talking about the second rule. It's actually rule 1 heading B to the third power. Regardless if I get my rules out of place I do know the third rule of parody threads is still no fapping to Matt Rhule nudes in parody threads.
  2. In all seriousness I heard it from my cousins sisters uncle's roommate in jail that Baker Garrapolo or Jimmy Mayfield could be traded to us today for as little as an 8th round draft pick.
  3. I thought the first rule of parody threads was to not talk about parody threads?
  4. From reading this thread some are excited about the possibility and some are of course not. I'm of the "meh" mindset as I see Baker to be better than Sam but I really don't see him currently as someone who could lead us to the super bowl. Maybe I am wrong and he just needs the perfect storm of a team to make it happen. If it were someone young that I had more faith in like Josh Allen, Justin Hebert, Joe Burrow or Lamar Jackson that would be awesome but I realize we are not getting any of the above so I almost feel as if it would be best to just roll with Sam, Corral and PJ or whoever 3rd string QB we can find. For those who are excited about Baker, do you honestly see him being capable of leading us to a trophy? If so what makes you feel this way? Baker would definitely be an upgrade right now over anyone we have but does that mean we will cut Sam and eat all his salary? Would anyone actually trade anything at all for Sam and take on his salary? If we got Baker how could we see if Corral is worth the draft pick and see what he has with Baker still very young and more than likely playing full time? Corral may be a project and never develop into anything of course but what if he had something great in him we never got to see because of Baker being here? On the flip side of that I guess some will say what if Corral never develops into nothing more than a solid backup? I guess with any decision comes ramifications on the future and unfortunately with the coach we have in place I don't have tons of faith in his decision making regarding QB's so I'm hoping that others I believe in more like Fit or Dan Morgan or potentially even Macadoo have the majority of the input and final say so. Either way this goes I feel like our greatest unknown could also be the greatest reward going the bet on Corral to develop route but that itself is a huge risk I realize. Tough decisions to be made either way but just not so sure how I feel about Baker for us. Maybe I'm buying into the media too much but is he a true leader or the immature jerk they make him out to be? So many questions and so few answers. Makes me glad I don't have to make the final decision but I guess for their yearly paychecks I would be happy to be in charge and make a big decision like that as well so forget I said that. Something most of us can get behind I do believe is the fact that maybe in any deal we do, we could include Robbie Anderson to get him out of here and see what we have beyond his goofy ass. TMJ I still hope can develop into a real force and DJ somehow takes an even bigger step into being a true to form clear cut bad ass number 1 WR. He has all the tools and talent in the world if he can just will himself to take that final elite step of being a dominant force teams must game plan for every single down.
  5. Yeah but look how good he was when he had Scottie and Dennis. Maybe we could get those two guys here and bring back some gold.....
  6. I felt the same exact way. I wanted nothing to do with Watson and still don't. I was shocked at how many people wanted him to come here after everything. Your QB is your most important leader on the team as far as players go. Who in the hell would want a leader making such piss poor decisions that he can't get out of the way of his own pecker and all it's bad decisions? That is no leader at all. Tepper even wanting him really disappointed me.
  7. Probably because he is still a fan and no matter if Rhule and Tepper are around he will still support and root for the team is my guess. I absolutely can't stand Rhule and am currently growing tired of Tepper after the removing Keep Pounding and keeping Rhule on but even after my very discontent with those two I still must support the team itself. I still want the best for the organization and all players involved as well as some coaches and even some management like Dan Morgan and Fitt. Maybe hype man is the same way? Dislike the owners philosophy and the direction he has taken the team as well as dislike the coach but still support the team hopefully?
  8. I'm thinking he is a big time CEO type that has much responsibility so he spends his down time recharging and trolling us for some chill fun. I appreciate all his strangely odd responses. My favorites are when someone posts something really jacked up that happens and he responds with a "I'm completely fine with this". I know he isn't but he is seeing who he can get a rose out of and it's great. His humor often seems very serious in nature so it makes it that muchore goofy and entertaining. He is an all around very important part of the huddle. This site needs him.
  9. Okay, post up your pics so we can analyze yours if we are playing that game. On another note, i bet you wouldn't say it to his face if you ever ran into him.
  10. Hahaha! This was the funny post of the day for me! Made me choke on my protein shake dammit!
  11. I know what he was up to today. He was at Haywood mall in Greenville SC making an appearance and signing autographs. My 12 year old and I were there shopping waiting on his hockey tryouts with a team here and discovered he was doing an autograph event at same place. McCaffrey and Cam ate his two favorite Panthers so he begged to meet him. He only got a minute or so with him but CMC was a super nice guy and does so well with people in general especially kids. About as laid back and warm hearted as someone could be towards children. Good dude all the way. I hope he stays healthy this season and isn't overused. They need to get usage out if him but not run the guy into the ground. There are other very capable backs on the roster that could carry some load too. If he stays healthy throughout the season he could only be a beneficial piece for the offense and help other players to not be focused on opening them up to make huge impacts too.
  12. I think it's cool to get updates on ex players and what's happening with them. Sometimes I wonder so no big deal at all. I admit the Bradberry update can easily be seen on ESPN but other updates on various players may not so it's always fun to hear them. Also, isn't it the off-season where this is just fine?
  13. Well then that's his loss for missing out on the joys of doggie and reverse cowgirl but the dude gets lots of hate around here for sure. You should write a letter to his fan club and at least tell him about a few other "positional options". He seemed to take coaching well as a player so maybe you could help him add some more spice to his intercourse game if he is willing to listen.
  14. If we did hire Payton we would need to triple pad lock the room that holds the vicodans so that pill head stays sober. Of I remember correctly wasn't that ass hat caught trying to squeeze through an air duct Die Hard style into a pill room to steal a bunch of controlled substances? What a douche rocket and I hate him but damn that junkie can coach some football. Imagine how good he could be if he wasn't such a druggie.
  15. Yeah so much Kurt Warner hate in this thread, I swear he must have pounded some of the guys in here's wives and girlfriends.
  16. Call me unexcited and a stick in the mud but I just don't have any enthusiasm for Mayfield. Hell I would rather just grab a vet like Cam or Fitzpatrick and let one of them start out and mentor and see if they can work Corral into some games and see how he grows.
  17. Okay yeah all of you are right and I'm completely wrong. Kelvin Benjamin would have been an absolute beast had he not been drafted by the Panthers. And yep, Smitty was once in a lifetime but you of course miss the whole point of me saying if KB had the same heart as Smitty he would have been the greatest ever due to the genetic he was gifted with. But yeah it was all the Panthers fault that KB had zero heart or drive and looking at it any other way is ridiculous. Bottom line is KB didn't have even a shred of heart and would have fizzled out the exact same way on any team.
  18. Oh I don't think Jake was trash at all. He was a damn good QB until the issue with his elbow. I don't believe Jake was as good as Cam but he was a close second for sure. My point is Steve was a beast that KB could never fathom. Devante Adams would still have been Devante Adams here as well and Kelvin Benjamin would have still been KB in Greenbay. There's a little thing called heart that makes all the difference in the end. Smitty had it, Devante has it, Cam has it and Jake had it but Kelvin Benjamin just want born with that killer instinct and determination which showed as his natural gifts carried him as far as they could but when it came time for heart to kick in there was nothing there hence his exit from the league.
  19. Potentially Adams may have still been an absolute bad ass because he would have had Cam (who was a badass himself) throwing him the football and Cam helped many receivers look awesome. Steve Smith had Jake throwing him the ball and Jake was awesome for a time period but Steve Smith would have been an absolute monster regardless because it was ingrained in him to be a monster. If Kelvin had half the heart, the ferocity, the aggressive nature and the drive that Steve Smith had he would have been the greatest receiver to ever step on the field with the genetics he was given by nature.
  20. Make no mistake Kelvin Benjamins career went to crap by his own hand. Though I haven't agreed with every move our Panthers have made over the years (Keeping Rhule this season for example) but Kelvin Benjamin lost his career because Kelvin Benjamin was not mentally strong enough to handle it all and keep it as well as rise above the adversity that hits everyone at some point while also having less than ideal discipline to his body, his nutrition and his work ethic. This is all opinion based but take Kelvin Benjamin and start his career with the greatest NFL franchise there is and he still would have Kelvin Benjamin'd hi self right out the league. His downfall was on Kelvin unfortunately. Nobody cut his legs out from under him or stabbed him in the back except his own choices. We all make choices both good and bad and we live with the consequences both good and bad. Kelvin's just happened to take away an amazing thing such as a dream career that many men would have dedicated their lives to and died for.
