When camp starts or the season and some team gets hit with the injury bug at QB then maybe just maybe we could trade away Darnold to them for anything at all. When I say anything I mean like a ham sandwich and we agree to cover a VERY small amount of his salary perhaps? Until them don't dress him for games during season but highlight him in preseason to make him look as good as possible to drum up interest when that injury bug happens to a team. Who knows, it's wishful thinking but this way at least makes Corral the backup and gives him more reps for the future and maybe could get Darnold off the books if a team gets desperate enough to inquire about him?

Oh that's the only reason this move was made I feel. Unfortunately I am in the crowd where I don't want his job saved and I was hoping to see him gone after this season.

I'm in the crowd of not excited about Baker or nay other QB we have traded for besides Corral but you have one hell of a point there and that is very true.

I sure hope they are pulling the trigger. Im tired of hearing about Baker. Hopefully somebody pulls the trigger and grabs Jimmy G out away from us as well. We need to just roll with what we have and see how it goes.

If the O-line plays well, and the QB's play well due to good O-line play we could have a decent team for once. Really not sure how our team will do thsi season. I don't feel as if Rhule is the answer at all but if certain players gel and play well it could affect others across the team and end up making us have a pretty good season. I just hope young players develop and it is a good year for low injuries to really see what these guys have in them.

Hoping it's new. I'm so tired of Baker and Jimmy G talk. Almost as tired of them as I was Deshaun Watson talk. Don't want any of them. We should just roll with who we have.

I worry my cell phone camera or someone that I have been on a video business meeting with sees me picking my nose hours later as I check emails and dig for gold.

Yeah I wish he would have a change of heart. I think he would make a hell of a good coach.

I really prefer spring water to distilled or purified. Spring water has such a more enjoyable flavor to the pallet in my opinion. Just goes down smoother I believe.

That's the drawback of saying no and holding ground I think. New owner wants new stadium and wants city to pay, city says nope so new owner threatens leaving. It's like a catch 22 there. Some side is going to lose and usually if anyone loses it will be the fans who line the packets of all involved in some way shape or form. I guess the ultimate loss for us as fans would be to lose the entire team to another city which is always a risk if that hard line no is drawn in the sand.

Somebody talk that dude into coaching and let's have him take over as head coach when Rhule shits the bed this year again.

I'm either late on the congrats or early on the happy anniversary but either way congratulations on the marriage and happy anniversary on July 31st because I know I won't remember the date then.

I will begin reading the stories each day as usual to see what's happening. My mist exciting thing with training camp each year is to see if we find some diamond in the rough rookie like a Ton Brady or a Terrel Davis was found. Heck, for that matter our own Steve Smith was a diamond in the rough that nobody expected to be hall of fame worthy and such a dominant beast of a player. I remember thinking he would be a good kick returner/punt returners after watching him. I would have n we thought he would turn out to be such an aggressive raging beast out on the field as a WR. I absolutely love long shots and diamonds in the rough. It would be so amazing to find one this year.

Does this actually help or is it just a commercialized thing for fun? If it does awesome and let's hope he keeps growing because he has so much potential for a young guy.

God what a saga this has been. All these potential QB's from Watson to Jimmy G. to Mayfield, I have not been excited about any of those three. I never wanted Watson due to the high price he would command to get him and also due to me believing he is a piss poor leader and will be a piss poor face of the franchise. Also I personally believe all his time away from football will make him very rusty and he won't come back nearly as good as he once was. Take away an extra year for him from suspension and I would be willing to bet he may never play to a probowl level again for the rest of his life. Wanted nothing to do with that perv from day one. Fast forward to Jimmy G. and Baker....I am not excited about the thought of either and don't seea true future with either. I unfortunately also don't see a real future with Sam either but I see us paying him some big money either way so I say we just roll with Sam, Corral and another guy for next season and if that takes us into failure then depending on how we feel about Corral then we may have a high draft pick to take a tip flight QB next draft. Regardless I see no amazing future with Baker Mayfield. He is an okay QB but just decent enough to win a couple more games than Sam. I don't feel like it is what we need here. We either need to fly high or crash and burn. We don't need another 5 won season that takes us out of it for a top of the line QB next draft.

Is Vegas taking "The Process" at all into account? If they weren't aware that Matsy has a "Process" in mind their odds may be much less that he gets fired before 2025 gets here. Someone please inform Vegas that our fearless leader has a Process.
