  1. I would like to have him back. In the past two years he has made an impact, but is he worth the money he might want. You can get another receiver this year to take his place. What I liked about him was he being able to go into the back field and be a threat as a back.
  2. We should have never let Klein walk to the Saints, but we didn't foresee Luke retiring.
  3. Couldn't make it any worse. Never should been given a 14 million dollar contract in the first place. Decent LB who had some good plays but missed way too many tackles by not wrapping up.
  4. He and Allen had a good game that year and Allen came out on top.
  5. Kung let's not forget about Huntly and Brinkley. Best tantrum back in the day. LOL
  6. We can always pray it doesn't can't we. If you want to give up CMC and the 8th for the 3rd to get your QB fine do it, but give your best players and future drafts picks for one QB is foolish.
  7. No If I am wrong I will admit it but Watson is not that damn good. Go look at his completion rate against the better teams who had decent defensive backs for the last 5 games. Chicago shut him down for a 41% passing rating. Not saying he can't lead this team. I am saying he is not a generational QB and trading for him is the silliest thing I heard especially giving up 3 1st rounds, 2 to 3 2nd rounds, and players it would take to seal the deal. This is not a damn movie like Draft Day. Watson is a decent QB not a great QB. Hell Wilson is just as good as Watson and he has won a SB and lost one SB. Still not giving the farm away for him either.
  8. I am going by ESPN QBR which 70.5 Deshaun Watson Stats, News, Bio | ESPN 2020 SEASON STATS YDS4,823 1st TD33 Tied-7th INT7 Tied-7th QBR70.5 12th
  9. So did Deshaun win the MVP award this year? No. How many AFC championship games has he won. 0 How many Playoff games 1 So you think this guy is as good as Slice bread. I would trade even for MCM for him and that is it. He was 70.5 QBR'ing and was 12th best in the league. He might be decent but he is not worth what everyone wants to give up.
  10. I have paid attention to Watson since he left Clemson. He is an okay QB but he is not worth giving up that number of draft choices to acquire. We just need to say we agree to disagree
  11. I don't want to give up what they are asking for Watson. We are rebuilding and those draft picks will be worth something later down the road. Like we giving the Redskins our First round picks for 2 years for Gilbert and how it set us back. Just think of giving up 3 first and 2nd round picks for Watson. He is not that damn good.
  12. If we got to have a QB I would take him and sit him behind TB for a year. If you want a Cam or a Buffalo Allen type QB then you are looking at him. Or we wait till next year's crop of QB's come out.
  13. I am an Lance choice guy. I think he gives Carolina everything that Cam did plus throws catchable balls. I have to go by what the draft experts say cause I don't have the film on him. He could be the next Mahomes or the next Russell. We won't get Lawrence, Wilson or Fields. They will be gone by the time the pick comes to us. The only thing we could do is trade with the Dolphins and give them #8 for Tua. If go 2nd rounds we would need a temporary QB if we aren't keeping TB, but would we be drafting someone like Grier if we took Trask or Ehlinger.
  14. He went to Alabama so he will be a First round. I would take him also take him in the 2nd round. The thing about Brady was his pocket presence and being able to slip and slide out of trouble. Seem every time someone was about to get him he would move a foot and they would miss him and then deliver the ball to his receiver. Not saying Jones will do that or has that ability. I haven't seen him enough but what I have seen he can hit an open receiver and deliver a catchable ball.

  16. Kung and where was Brady drafted at. I believe 6 or 7th round. Remember they made fun of him when he started the NE/Raiders Championship game. I always believed the Raiders got screwed that game when they called his arm going forward instead of a fumble recovery by the Raiders. Seem like he always got the calls in his early years.
  17. BurnNChinn they thought the same thing about Delhomme in New Orleans. Why they let us sign him away. Any QB we draft is going to be thrown to the wolves unless we can pick up some solid OLine this year. We still need a tackle, center, and a guard. We are a year behind since we went all defense last year.
  18. I wondered that last year. Yall kept telling me how good Little was and that I only needed to give him time. I hope Rhule has a short string and that Training camp will be a growing experience for Little or we have wasted another draft pick on a Marty trade up. Well I rather have Lance over Fields or Jones. I just hope Teppers ego doesn't get in front of his brains an trades for Watson. We don't need to waste number ones for an okay QB.
  19. I agree Kung. Teddy wasn't that bad. I am going off what I watched. The opposition team turn the heat up in the 4 quarter. Plus again we were without a quality LT for 11 of 16 games with Okung and Little only started 3 games and played in 7 more then placed on IR.
  20. It is time to have a top flight OLine. One of Pittsburg's trademarks during their Super Bowl runs was an outstanding OLine. When one was ready to leave or wanted more money. They just plugged another on in and off they went without missing a beat.
  21. Only difference I would take a center or a guard at 2. We have enough receivers if we resign Samuel. Anderson is under contract this year and we still have DJ. Curtis was coming into his own this year. A good offensive line can even make a decent QB look good. I believe the Oline was a lot of TB's problem this year. Just think he was the talk of the town, but he had a good OLine in NO's
