  1. He's not gonna get taller without leg extensions. Idk anything about that with a athlete. But he's 5' 10 not 5' 5". I don't doubt he is 185. He ate shrimp and a salad at the pro day dinner. He most likely has a high metabolism. Day after the draft, the team that drafts him will have him on a high calorie diet and lift heavy. He can easily carry +15-20 lbs more muscle. He has not maxed out his frame - at all.
  2. The Bears wouldn't draft Mahomes if Mahomes was literally in the draft. Oh wait *cough*Trubisky (I know completely different FO, staff, etc, but still.)
  3. No we don't. We have a lot of speculation. There is a difference. In reality, we have no idea who likes whom. Yes there seems to be some clues and hints, but there isn't anything definitive out there that isn't speculation or a potential smokescreen from "people inside the building" etc. My point is, your statement could be true, but the public has no idea with 100% certainty. Prove me wrong. (Honestly love when someone can backup what they say. I'd love to see a direct quote from someone within the inner Panthers circle.)
  4. These people who hate this trade up come up with some wild poo to get all the picks back. If anyone thinks Lamar can be had, well they are a moron. The Ravens aren't letting him go. The contract would have to be obscene for that to actually happen.
  5. Red snapper, baked potato and a caesar salad. Grouper if they don't have red snapper.
  6. Only 14% of the human population is over 6', nonetheless over 6' 3".
  7. This is true. A radio station had a water chugging contest for some prize long time ago. I don't remember where the station was or anything, but anyways some chick drank gallons and gallons of water and ended up in the hospital. Can't remember if she died or not, but the station got sued. Edit-Quck google search found the answers. She died. https://insiderexclusive.com/radios-deadly-stunts-the-jennifer-strange-story/
  8. I just heard Bryce met with the Raiders after our date. So first, that makes Bryce a two timing hoe. Also, I bet someone will trade up to 3 to get him if he makes it that far.
  9. Love Cam, but he's really sticking to the "aint 32 better than me" thing? He's probably not wrong, but look at his last 1.5 seasons. Idk, at this point just comes across salty. I'd love love love to see him get a chance somewhere and prove it, but I doubt he ever does, and I'm not entirely certain he could prove it.
  10. My post was sarcastic, fyi. And honestly have no clue if this would be up your alley or not. But they do use trumpets in their music.
  11. Is this uncommon, for Pat McAfee to break news?
  12. I bet you would really love The Urge then! Though, I think they are more trumpets than sax iirc.
  13. His football iq is just off the charts. No QB in this draft is as smart as he is.
  14. Moving to 4 puts us at risk of someone trading up to 3 and taking our QB that we think will fall there. We're not trading to 4. Not sure if the Texans are dumb enough to buy it.
  15. Come on man give the guy a break. He's a fan of the worst team in the NFL. I'm sure this is just his way of coping with it. These Bears fans are doing whatever they got to do to not jump through a window. I mean, I heard on the radio the other day, a Bears fan was so excited because they are going to have both the 1st and 32nd pick in next year's draft!
  16. I don't understand this post. You have to have a backup QB. Smart teams have a backup QB that has some capability of actually winning games. Not sure how this relates to starting WR and RB though. You think we can't sign people because of Andy Dalton or something????
  17. They only count incentives if they are "likely to be earned". That is why there is a cap adjustment. I think this years happened last week.
  18. He's going to the Jets. Randall Cobb is also going to the Jets. Packers East.
  19. This. Y'all need to watch what that dude says. Personally I think he's a fraud, but I'm also a really skeptical person so
  20. Beyond size/durability concerns, what questions are you seeing regarding Young?
  21. That's no reason not to draft one though. I fully expect us to sign a mid tier WR and TE for this year. Vet guys who are reliable pass catchers. Guys who may not be explosive or shifty, but reliable when the ball goes their way. It would be great if Tremble took a step forward. I'm also looking forward to seeing what Jefferson can get out of TMJ, Shenault, and Smith. It is possible with this staff that we have some answers on the roster, though I wouldn't go into the season banking on that.
  22. I wouldn't say that. I've watched a bunch of both and to me Young can do things that Stroud either can't or won't. Some of the throws he makes, it's like you can't teach that. Full field reads. Not just one play, but all over his tape. Hardly any of that in Stroud's tape. Young is the clear cut number one QB in this draft without any question, if it wasn't for his size. All that said, Stroud is no slouch and wouldn't mind him, but Young is the safer pick in a lot of respects, besides size. Stroud struggles with pressure, which Young just avoids it easily. Young doesn't lower his eyes like Stroud does. Stroud takes sacks while Young turns a negative into a positive. Stroud stays on his 1 receiver too long and doesn't go through his progressions quickly enough - meaning either slow processing or indecisiveness. A lot of these negatives are coachable. Personally, I think I've actually talked myself into Young. I think I would take the injury risk. Barring career ending injury, I think Young will be an elite QB in the NFL. I think Stroud will possibly become an elite QB in the NFL.
  23. This is where I'm at as well. To me, a good TE>WR for a rookie QB. Also, in this draft we should be able to get a premier TE at 39 vs a 2nd or 3rd tier WR. They will need to target a WR in the 3rd or 4th with upside, as well as get a FA WR.
  24. I don't think it's a collusion thing either, but really what does that matter? If 31 owners came out and said, "hey we all agree and we aren't doing fully guaranteed contracts for QBs now or ever," as far as I know, they wouldn't be breaking any laws, it's not a discrimination issue against anyone, the NFLPA wouldn't be happy about it, but other than arrange a strike, they can't do poo about it. This wouldn't be the same as two companies colluding to inflate prices of commodities, as I do not think each team is looked as an individual entity, it all falls under the NFL. Idk, I get players wouldn't like it, but I don't see a problem with "collusion" in this case or a reason to hide it, other than PR.
