Panthers waiver claims and practice squad signings
Luciu5 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
His "praise" could be more for trying to hype for a trade then to deceive the fans. -
You are pretty much spot on with your interpretation of the PS rules except the number of players you can protect is 4.

Roster Building: 2022 players under contract
Luciu5 replied to Santee_Panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's probably really dependent on where we draft. -
Can this guy really be "THE GUY" for the Aints

Did Winston play in the preseason at all? What did he look like? Idk cause I don't pay attention. -

A lot of words in your post that doesn't say poo. Are you this pissy IRL? Why whine about this poo anyways? You're going to give yourself a heart attack over dumb poo. -
To me, that's not good enough. I'd want to see something closer to 30-34 TD's, 15 INTs max. The only way for that stat line to be ok is if we rack up TD's on the ground. Basically something similar to what the Titans do. Focus on the run but the QB can bail out the team out when needed, just as long as it's not asked of him often. If that makes sense.

All those teams are rebuilding (or should be), or recently rebuilt - the Browns. Also some people's shtick here is dumb as fug. -

It's waivers and bottom of the roster guys. If you are being whelmed by this poo then you are doing it wrong. -
Can Fletcher work with the team at all over the season/offseason on IR? Dude needs practice over this year for next year.

The TD to Robbie Anderson play, watching this, it looks like there were 3 touchdown options on that play. Almost seems like Marshall (I think that's who that was in the end zone at the top of the screen, can't make out all the numbers) would have been an easy touchdown. Also, Arnold could possibly have been a touchdown option if that was an out breaking route in the end zone. Good play design.

This will change as the year goes on either due to injury or things clicking for the rookies.

1st & 2nd Rd Draft Picks (2017-Present) - Pretty Cool

We likely won't get a comp for Samuel. He will be offset by Riddick most likely. If not Reddick potentially Arnold, Jones, or Fox. -
Monday practice and presser notes.. CMAC may not play Friday

Trying not to let this place drag me down, but man it's hard not to be an asshole on this site. Idk why though. It's friggin contagious. -

I guess those joint practices are like those new-fangled iphones all the kids are running around with lately. We'll see if they catch on or maybe they are just another fad. -

"In a growing trend, 20 clubs have scheduled joint practices with other teams." https://nflcommunications.com/Pages/2019-NFL-Training-Camps-Set-to-Open-.aspx That's from 2019. Joint practices aren't a new thing. Here's an article about joint practice fights, with examples going back to...2014. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2018/08/nfl-joint-practice-fights-texans-49ers-jets-redskins-videos Sure, they are getting to be more popular, but they have been used and fairly wide spread for a long ass time now. [Deleted some unnecessary mean poo here.] -
Maybe. One thing to say about this whole idea of hiding Sam; it doesn't appear to exist outside this forum. Sure, plenty question if he should be playing more in the preseason, but I can't find anything anywhere that hints he's being hidden for mysterious unsaid reasons or being overly protected. To me, that bolded part is important. Seriously, do we know he's being shielded from scrutiny? We know that is why Sam isn't playing? If so, how do we know this? Maybe he is, but is that coming from anywhere but people's heads? Nothing from the outside suggests this. Could be, but could be a lot of things like injury concerns for one, or more time to evaluate bottom of the roster for another. Why are we jumping to the most psychologically detached reason? It's most likely moronic fans just going down a rabbit hole of conspiracy, likely out of boredom or to bitch because they are filled with blind hate or some shits.

For you to be disappointed with 5-11, you would have to have expected better than 5-11. There's your problem. Personally, I saw 3 wins, maybe 2. The roster was completely tore down, rightfully so. How your expectations were so high is beyond me. By all accounts, this team over performed last year...

The Panthers? No they aren't.... When you are 1 or 2 players away, you sign big name guys for a playoff run. We haven't been doing that last off-season, nor the current one. As far as right direction, that means more wins than the previous season, right? It's been 1 season, sooo.....

Perspective, Directive, and Erective - The Panthers offensive woes and you
Luciu5 replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd agree, maybe going to Marshall? Or maybe the oline ran the wrong play, because Grier had 0 seconds to get that ball out. -
Considering how religious he is toward his diet and taking care of his body, I'd be shocked if he dipped.

Not good enough. Looking at both weeks so far, our red zone issues do not seem resolved. I'm starting to question if it's Joe Brady. Slye has to go asap.

What does CJ Saunders hype mean for WR depth chart?
Luciu5 replied to KB_fan's topic in Carolina Panthers
1. We have an aging long snapper that could be replaced for cheap. 2. Fletcher could be a "special" long snapper. (As special as a LS can be) 3. We had a plethora of low round picks to throw around. 4. He can be protected on the practice squad and not have to play this year. Imagine if we could have protected Butker. Bad comparison because the importance of the positions, but eh. -
I think IDL is a little low. Edge is very low; I feel we have elite starters and solid depth. The secondary is hard to say. Starters might be good, might not and depth looks good in camp and preseason...but that's camp and preseason. Looks like Overall isn't an average of all these position groups, so that's way too low. I think that should be around 20.

Yep 2. So now we have 7 total picks - missing the 2nd. Sidenote, our 4th seems like we don't know who's original pick this is. At least I can't find that info.
