  1. I like optimism, but man your use of stats is garbage. You can't compare the number of seeds in a whole apple to the number of seeds in half an apple. I don't think anyone is so tied up on the specific number of drops as your are. Here's some real numbers. RA had 6.4 drop percent. #40 in the NFL. #16 amongst wide receivers. Other notable names higher than Anderson include Kelce, Chase, Hooper, Kamara, Lamb, Deebo Samuel. Also, I'm seeing 10 drops total from DJ Moore; Keenan Allen with 8. So obviously stats are coming from different sources and there is apparently variances on how these stats are determined. I have no idea which site is most accurate, but from my perspective, Robbie Anderson had the highest drop rate of any WR on our team who had significant targets. Thomas and Hubbard had some targets and even worse drop rates, by far.
  2. I'm pretty sure whatever personality or behavior things he may have are like 4th or 5th on the list of why he hasn't been traded. I promise you if his tape looked like Aaron Rodgers, he'd be on just about whatever team he wanted, Cleveland would have a haul, and his new team's fan base probably wouldn't even complain too much about his dumbass commercials.
  3. Mayfield was spotted in a Washington brewery recently, just outside Seattle....
  4. You can't pick up a player's 5th year option in their 3rd year. Dude's trolling.
  5. Hmm, I think what's going on here is the Panthers are about the only team with the cap space and the media is putting two and two together. If *we* aren't interested, there aren't many other options to take those contracts. If we aren't interested, there is no story. I do think Fitt is fueling this though, anonymously. If someone asks him if we are interested in such and such player, his answer will ALWAYS be something to the effect of "never say never" which, to the media, means enthusiastically YES, if it fits the narrative they are wanting to discuss.
  6. The writer isn't wrong. The coach is a question mark, though I think we upgraded the coaching staff overall. And Sam Darnold is Sam Darnold. With an elite coach we could do better. With at least an average QB we could do better. We do not have either, thus hard to say we win any games. Sadly, in Corral we trust.
  7. That's not a great solution if CMC goes down though. You don't want to be moving your #1 WR to RB for very many snaps. Typically they've used Moore on Jet sweeps/end arounds kind of plays.
  8. Rhule has final say, but does he have authority to terminate Fitterer? I'd bet no. Thus Fitterer has the ability to tell Rhule no IF Tepper is in his corner. I think "Rhule has final say" is both true and not true at the same time. It comes down to Tepper and I think Fitterer has Teppers backing at this point.
  9. Matt Rhule was hired Jan. 8, 2020. Come back in January. It really bugs me people keep bitching about where we are after 3 years when 3 years isn't here yet. Maybe folks are clairvoyant, but right now it's been 2 years (or 2 seasons), not 3.
  10. I see 7 wins max. Definitely likely less than that if Corral is ho-hum. Or unless MacAdoo is some kind of secret genius.
  11. I don't think it was that exactly. I think they didn't want other teams having film on the 4 plays that Sam could actually execute successfully. It did take the league 3 games after all for them to realize we kept running the same plays over and over again.
  12. Not only that, but the offense in general. Imagine if our offense went from bottom of the league to top half. I doubt that happens...disclaimer. Teams will be beating down his door. If Corral is successful, we got Ben for 2 years max. That's all pipe dream stuff though. Same as it was with Brady, tbh.
  13. Shoulda made a poll. Horn is all I'm interested in. Dude looks like he could be perennial pro bowler. I want to see it. Lots of promise from a number of other guys, but no where near the potential of Horn.
  14. They lie. I think they lie to the media a lot to be honest. Imagine they say Sam is the starter. Sam is the starter. all through the offseason, through preseason then Matt Corral starts. Would you be surprised?
  15. The quote was "we'll bring some competition in, possibly, at quarterback; we'll see how it goes." The context was around filling holes and the takeaway, I think is, he doesn't know if the QB hole is filled because Corral is a ? and any improvement from Darnold is a ?. The we'll see how it goes was a reference to the QB's currently on the roster. That said, if an improvement over Darnold is cut from some team, I think we'll definitely try to scoop that up.
  16. Who gives a fug about the 32nd pick in the 4th round? Seriously. It's so late it's nearly nothing and easily recouped in a number of different ways....small trade back, comp pick, trade, etc.
  17. I read Ridder will be wearing 4 in ATL. Deshaun Watson wore 4 in Texas. Atlanta tried to get Watson, but didn't. Carolina tried to get Watson but didn't. I hope Corral doesn't wear 4.
  18. Y'all Darnold supporters need to explain Joe Burrow then. Year one, gets his leg ripped off. Year two, takes the most sacks in the league. Also year two, takes his team to the Super Bowl. Why is Darnold not playing like Burrow is, though they are in similar situations protection wise?
  19. Dude that's the predraft narrative. It's post draft now where hope springs eternal. Go back in your hole until about week 4, please.
  20. Getting Watson wasnt' my preferred route. Too much cap hit and too much lost assets/picks. We would have been stuck with an elite QB with no means of supporting him. Wouldn't have the cap to bring in high end vets and wouldn't have the picks to bring in top draft talent.
  21. Knowing and doing are two different things. I can tell you exactly how to do something in my line of work and even explain why it's done like that. But when I do it myself, it comes out ugly.
  22. Odd comparison. Okay, so an internet search of her boobs, every website that tracks plastic surgeries say straight up, no, the boobs are real while stating unknown for other surgeries. In pictures, I can't find an actual topless pic unfortunately, but to me some bikini shots they appear 100% real while others look 100% fake. The web does say she is considered by some as a plus size model, which would lend credence to the boobs are real theory. This was a cool distraction from work though, so thanks for that.
  23. To answer the OP, I think Ben McAdoo will pound the table everyday for the best QB to play, regardless of whom it is.
  24. Offense is QB for sure. Maybe that's solved. Who knows? Defense is LB I think. DE could also be a need, but I think MLB is still the biggest.
