CBS will air the Super Bowl in 4K (but there's a catch)
Luciu5 replied to PanthersATL's topic in Carolina Panthers
That is not because it's 4k. It's a motion smoothing setting that can be turned off in all TV's settings. It looks good for sports imo, but it makes everything else look like a soap opera. -
I mean, if you remember 80's TV shows then you are definitely old enough to remember V.

I'm not sure if you meant it this way, but I don't think anyone thinks of themselves like this. "Dude why do you keep trying to give me a job when you see I got all these red flags." I think if he felt he wasn't cut out for a HC job, or didn't want a HC job, he wouldn't be taking the interviews. I think it's more likely he's using some teams to drive up the price for the team he actually wants to coach for. Either that, or he is truly just trying to get a ring with Detroit. Maybe he sees staying as OC is a better chance for a ring than moving to HC now.

I really hate that thread was locked. That post was so absolutely nuts, the entertainment value lost is such a shame.

I'm sorry, but our coach can be kinda cringe.

.... So tldr, nothing specific, more gut feeling which may be actually caused by outside factors; like my own personal experiences, and Matt Rhule. At this point, I just need people to prove they can walk the walk. I don't care if they can talk the talk. There was a whole nother paragraph here, but I deleted that becasue I think there was too much nuance and context. The tldr version is much more concise.

I wasn't impressed. I have more faith in Dan than Dave Canales. He sounds like he's in over his head. I have no faith in any of it until I see it.

Considering Reich was the one to convince Caldwell to come out of retirement, I'm a bit confused why he's staying around. This was huge news at the time, because prior to Reich nobody was able to get Caldwell to un-retire. The whole thing with him being retained smells fishy to me.

I want to be proven wrong about Bryce Young, today is the first real step
Luciu5 replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
Me too. If BY can put it together, then out lack of a 1st looks much better. We just have to win the coaching & GM lottery and hope the owner stays out. -
Worst case, he'll be tagged and traded. No one in their right mind would let him walk.

But then there's next year

The most important part of Bryce’s play vs Texans
Luciu5 replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am still optimistic about Bryce. Not so much about this team and staff in general. -
it was just a dream

Yep same. I doubt I watch another game this year. When Panthers football brings me joy, I'll pay more attention. No time right now for misery.

I'm sooo glad I never even turned this game on. Panthers are toxic rn
-
Why is our offense entirely screens and runs up the gut?

Panthers have to respond

A lot of wasted downs.

Maybe because they watch the tape, see the hate, and feel the need to speak up to people less knowledgable in the subject matter. Or maybe they think calling a player a bust after two games is unwarranted so people are swinging too far the other way to counterbalance. There is definitely a disconnect between fans, the media, and experts regarding Bryce Young.

I know soft defense and all, but you saw it on that last touchdown play monday night. Like, he played loose because it didn't matter and pulled out a touchdown in the chaos that was that play. We need more of that.
-
This is what the fan base wants him to do though. "He's holding the ball too long", which means - just throw it at somebody no matter how many defenders are in the area! This fan base isn't going to bitch if he throws a few ints per game he would just get the ball out quicker and be decisive. Do I need to /s?

Dude, is it kinda itchy, because that's a hemorrhoid you're describing.
